    My Hot Spring jacuzzi!
    Boaz J.

The very best company in Berks by a mile! Scott was phenomenal - hard working and very knowledgeable and sincere. He kept us up to date throughout our installation and was the best communicating contractor we've ever dealt with - ever! The office staff is just as good. Pam and Vic are just as helpful and taught me a lot about how to do the chemical right. I can see why his company is the peoples choice - they're really that good!

If you've never installed a pool previously, you better find someone who has so that you can ask…read moreevery question in the book because they offered up absolutely no proactive information or planning for our project. I am trying to like these people as they install our inground pool, but they seem to want every step of the way to be a surprise and half finished. Communication would have gone a long, long way but they completely and utterly lacked in informing us of what to expect, when to expect it, and made clear attempts at excuses for things that could have been straightforward communication and I would have understood. The subcontractors they used were very nice and seemed to do a decent job. My impression is that Goodall failed at project planning to complete the job efficiently, and communication was at best reactive to our constant probes of questions to figure out what was going to go on at our home with this large project. It made it very difficult to plan our own parts of the project (ie landscaping, etc) and wasted a lot (a couple thousand dollars) of our money with wasted materials and I can't even tell you how much of our time has been wasted that could have been prevented if they provided a clear plan, design, and information. I will update this review when we're all said and done to hopefully a better rating with full details.

This company is operating as a Jacuzzi reseller (independent Sales Organization - ISO)…read more After complaining to Van Dorn, I have since found that Van Dorn is the only registered provider of Jacuzzi spas in the state of Maryland. I know this because I contacted Jacuzzi directly and they gave me a secondary provider in Hagerstown, MD that is subsequently cut-off by Jacuzzi since Covid, 2019. This means that Van Dorn is the only seller and provider of maintenance in the State of Maryland. Hence, Van Dorn knows they are the only registered provider of Jacuzzi Sales and Maintenance. They use this advantage by charging exorbitant fees for new and existing Maryland Consumers that purchase a Jacuzzi spa. With that said, it is obvious that this company is acting like a 'Monopoly' for the Jacuzzi spas purchased by consumer in the state of Maryland. In other words, we the consumers are FORCED to work with Van Dorn for our proper Jacuzzi maintenance. Van Dorn, (knowing that have a monopoly), in turn charges exorbitant prices to conduct basic maintenance that is as little as 30 mins for $205.00. This works out to $410.00/hr. I just experienced this (super charge) of $205.00 for a tech to 'open up the COVER OF THE spa," tighten some pipe unions and then LEAVE within 30 minutes, and this was after I waited 30 days for him to come out to me in the first place. How is that verifying that my Jacuzzi tub is working properly and not leaking (which was the main part of our service call in the first place)? With this complaint, I already know, that Van Dorn will use the excuse that the Spa was not filled with water so they cannot test things, but that is bogus since for the last 5 years they have been using an 'external pump' that quickly extracts water from a nearby pool and is used to fill the spa (fast - usually in 20 mints or less). It comes down to whether THEIR TIMETABLE for the day will use the 'external-pump approach' to ACTUALLY fix the problem, OR use 'the excuse' that the Spa is not filled to justify their 20-30 mints "service." They love to use this 'external pump approach' to benefit (or not) their schedule to handle all Jacuzzi needs across the State of Maryland. excuse where the spas are filled (or not). This is their "bufffer" that they use for charging $205.00 for the visit. It is a shameful approach to business, and one that is manipulating Maryland Code. With tha said, over the years I have seen how they like to manipulate the use of their 'external pump' as an excuse that the spa cannot be tested (since it is not filled - when they come out) to determine whether the spa works or has leaks. I have seen thier use of this excuse for many years now. All the time, they could be using ther external pumps to fill the spa, run the spa and determine operation and/or leaks. As an educated citizen of Maryland, I need/want/alert the state of this egregious use of monopoly that is happening in the State of Maryland, of which I was born. I am tired of small dealers extorting the Citizens of Maryland and I ask that you crack down on this 'Monopoly' that Van Dorn has on Maryland citizens. In closing, If I cannot get recon stance from your department, I will be taking this to the Maryland Supreme Court. Thank you, Stephen J. I was kept informed during each phase, when they were schedule to come out, what was happening. I have never had as good experience with a contractor as I had with Aqua Bello. Mike and or his son was onsite during most of the major phases. He did the stone work for the waterfall, which turned out great. When we decided to install a pool I was afraid that I would be out there constantly cleaning, adding chems, etc. But, with the Pentair equipment they installed I did very little the first season. And I only had to backwash one time. I highly recommend Aqua Bello. Someone else posted that they had a bad experience, I am not sure I agree with all that was posted. I certainly can not see that anyone at Aqua Bello would have called that person a liar. I met Mike, his son and wife, and Jeff when he designed the pool. I talked to them on virtually a weekly basis and I would be shocked if that were true. I just don't see it. I certainly had a very good experience. My neighbors have all commented how nice the pool looks.

After two employees failed to contact Jacuzzi on our behalf as promised and knowing there's not a lot of time left on our warranty I escalated our concerns to the VP and this was his reply: It is my understanding that we have been out on a few occasions to service your hot tub, and we have done so every time under Warranty and at no charge to you. If you feel this spa is a "lemon", this is something that needs to be dealt with directly by you with Jacuzzi themselves. If we go to them and tell them a client wants a new hot tub, even though there have been a few warranty issues on a 4-year old tub, but there is currently nothing wrong with the hot tub, we will get no response. I am unsure why you have felt it best to threaten us with lawyers even though we have performed warranty service and there is no current problem with your hot tub. Nonetheless, we have done everything we can to make you happy, but this appears to have been unsuccessful. Due to the fact that we have been threatened with lawyers even though we have done nothing wrong, I feel it is best to sever ties, and we subsequently will no longer service your hot tub. If you have future warranty and/or service related issues, I would recommend contacting Jacuzzi to get a name of a local authorized service company. If we do in fact get a letter from your lawyer, I will forward this to our lawyer to have it taken care of. I am confident that we will prevail because I fail to see why such drastic measures could even be warranted or on what basis we would even be sued for. Please know that this will be my last correspondence, so any future emails and/or contact from you will go unanswered. Any future communication from you will get directed to our lawyer, should that sadly become necessary. Adam Fronheiser Vice President Office (610) 383-0461
