I have used Eddinger for all my businesses and houses (I have rentals). They are always super courteous and bend over backwards to make things as quick and easy as possible. If there was a way to give negative stars I would definitely do so. If you can choose not to do business with this company please spare yourself the time, money, and the heartache. This company doesn't care about military veterans, single parents, and they definitely don't care if you are without gas in sub zero temperatures. One thing they do care about is money. This company does not put anything in writing and they do not have any contracts, which is red flag number one because they seem to make up the rules as they go along. They deliver gas to ypur home at any random time when they feel like it without any courtesy call or notification. Seems like they only do it when their funds are low. Then they place an invoice on your door. The invoices range between around $200 to over $500. There are no terms written on the invoices but their expectation is that you pay in full in 30 days. When you ask them not to randomly deliver to ypur house without notice they do stop, however they do not give courtesy calls or notice when your tank is running low. Their invoicing system is also not accurate because sometimes your invoice will say one thing and then online your amount owed will be different (often it will be more). The reps are eddinger all have attitude problems. They are all rude, they talk over you and interrupt you and they are liars. One rep will say one thing and then the next person you talk to will say something totally different. Due to the fact that they do not keep accurate records you are often told different information. They can randomly make you a pay up front customer without any cause or notice and they often do so in the coldest no the so as to take advantage of its customers. My propane ran all the way to 0 with no notice and I called to have a refill and they demanded an upfront payment of $1k during the holidays to have my heat turned back on. The temperature outside has ranged from 0 degrees to 22 degrees. They did not care! One rep told me a $200 payment would suffice for a delivery the next day and when I paid them their money they never delivered and when I called they told me that wasn't enough money and demanded more. PLEASE DO NOT use this company! Find a better, more organized company with better business practices. Find a company that actually cares about its customers becayse these people really could care less at all. read more

The Paul s. Review is a bunch of bull shit. These people go out of their way to make sure individuals that dont even pay their bill have fuel for heat in the winter I've seen it first hand. These guys go above and beyond to work with and help their customers. They have a system that guesses how much gas you use and when to deliver off of previous years but ultimately its YOUR responsibility to make sure you have gas in your tanks. And if you "OWN" the tanks why wait for them? Call amerigas and pay the extra $1 plus a gal for their propane (yes amerigas is about that much more as I work for a company that sells amerigas propane and is one of the many reasons I choose eddingers). The lady that people always try and make out to be a "bad guy" is actually a VERY sweet young lady that would give the shirt off her back to help anyone. But because you people dont monitor your gas or pay your Bill's and shes supposed to call and collect you all give her a bunch of shit like shes the reaper. Grow up and start being responsible for YOUR actions instead of crying on these reviews about how terrible it is that you didnt pay your bill so they wont fill your gas or you ran out because you were to stupid to even go out and read YOUR tanks. read more

This company has terrible customer service and the people answering the phone are rude. I was outraged when they told me that they would charge an extra $250 to make an emergency delivery. I guess they think that they have you over a barrel in cold weather but I said "forget it!". I will wait 3 days in freezing temperatures to get the tank filled rather than pay that kind of money. When I called on the day they were to fill it to see if I could get an idea when someone might be there, the lady laughed and said she had no idea and that I would know before she did. Well, I would not since I wasn't home. I just wanted an idea since my house was at 47 degrees over the weekend and I had no hot water. I stayed in the bedroom over the weekend with 2 Polomis heaters and an electric blanket and showered at the gym rather than pay their outrageous fee. They think that they own our tank and are the only supplier but I have documentation that when we built our house, our builder charged us for the tank so WE OWN IT. Time to look around for another supplier! read more

We have used Eddingers for many years, they are fine if you call a month ahead of needing propane. But heaven forbid you have an issue or have run out of propane. They make you feel like dirt that you let your propane run so low, and then when trying to get propane delivered quickly they are very horrible to work with. The gentleman who answers the phone is rude, and cuts you off when you are speaking to him, and has told me to just go find another company. What kind of company tells you to go somewhere else? We have switched to Countryside Propane. Very friendly, very flexible. Actually came to our house with in 4 hours to fill our propane where Eddingers told us 3-5 days before filling.
