There was an OE parts search nationally for an OE small engine carburetor. Pipersville Garden…read moreshowed the part available and was ordered. The order was received and was instantly indentified as a Chinese aftermarket part and the inbound freight costs were 2 times more than it should be. After several contacts with the Pipersville parts person, this business stood by its representation of a correct part as posted. There was no comment from the company the same identical part could be purchased thought Amazon for $20 delivered yet Pipersville Lawn and Garden is charging $169.62. The parts person said he would charge anyone the same price. There was an attempt to contact the co-owner/manager of this business to discuss the issue. With no responses in a reasonable amount of time, there is the conclusion that this is the foundation of this business. This is a situation of deceit and lack of conscience that a business will seek any opportunity to take advantage of their customers.

Not sure why the is place has negative reviews but I had two of my zero turn mowers fixed and…read moreserviced here. They were really reasonably priced, picked both of them up and dropped them off within reasonable time. Tried other places but was told it would be a 6-8 week turn around which is ridiculous. They had both done within a few weeks. Just remember you get what you pay for. Steves Mower Shop is an honest local small business. Compared with many others in the area. Our one zero turn we were told would require a new left side hydraulic which would have run me over $1000 just for the part. Steve's found that it was only rust that got into the system and messed up the movement on that side. This will be my go to shop from now on.

I called this company to have my mower serviced. I was very thankful for the prompt pickup and…read moreservice I initially received over the phone. However things went significantly dow. Hill from there. Over the course of 6 weeks now (yes I still do not have my mower back) I've been given Wrong information on top of false promises of a follow up calls. After 3 initial calls of diagnoses, false time lines and an overall lack of communication spanning over a month... I called in yet again. To be told the mower was mis-diagnosed from the beginning and now they had to order different parts and were "still working on it" upon this call, which was now 6 weeks in. I got no apology, no sense or remorse or effort to prioritize this now in any capacity.... Until I completely called him out for all of this. 6 weeks total. 4+ phone calls almost all of which has been lies or false information with a complete lack of follow up or apology. So then I ask what's the time frame to resolve this. "Well depends on when the part comes in" When will the part be in "Well I don't really know hopefully this week" It's 2024 guys. We have tracking and you order these parts for mowers on a regular basis. You should know a time frame / estimate. So now. I wait. In a response for when parts come in. Not knowing what's actually being done, what I'm expected to pay or when it'll be done. Needless to say. 100000% will never come here again and you shouldn't either.
