Hill from there. Over the course of 6 weeks now (yes I still do not have my mower back) I've been given Wrong information on top of false promises of a follow up calls. After 3 initial calls of diagnoses, false time lines and an overall lack of communication spanning over a month... I called in yet again. To be told the mower was mis-diagnosed from the beginning and now they had to order different parts and were "still working on it" upon this call, which was now 6 weeks in. I got no apology, no sense or remorse or effort to prioritize this now in any capacity.... Until I completely called him out for all of this. 6 weeks total. 4+ phone calls almost all of which has been lies or false information with a complete lack of follow up or apology. So then I ask what's the time frame to resolve this. "Well depends on when the part comes in" When will the part be in "Well I don't really know hopefully this week" It's 2024 guys. We have tracking and you order these parts for mowers on a regular basis. You should know a time frame / estimate. So now. I wait. In a response for when parts come in. Not knowing what's actually being done, what I'm expected to pay or when it'll be done. Needless to say. 100000% will never come here again and you shouldn't either.

Tony runs Springfield Small Engine Repairs and his email is springfieldsmallenginerepair@gmail.com. I emailed him explaining the problem and after corresponding about some details he came out to my house two days later (I didn't even need to be home!). He checked out the mower, called me to tell me that I needed two new parts, and said that he'd call me later in the day with a price estimate. Sure enough, Tony called me later in the day and told me that the parts would be $39. He said that he would charge me $10 to install the parts if I also paid $85 for a top to bottom maintenance session. This is a new mower so my husband did not want to pay for the maintenance this year (plus let's face it - he's cheap), so Tony said that he would charge us $35 for the part installation on top of the $39 for the parts. I completely understand charging more for labor if the only reason he's coming out is to simply install a few parts. The man's gotta make a living. In one day Tony assessed our damages, gave us quotes, and ordered the parts. In a week he will come back and install the replacement parts. I intend to use Tony in the future for the lawnmower maintenance aspect. The guy does housecalls and that makes him a gem in my book. Support Tony and local businesses!
