Pretty much the opposite experience of other "big box" stores. Every time I enter someone is standing near the front and immediately asks if they can help. They frequently have lIttle "thank you" events for customers with some food / giveaways. Great locally operated business. i can't speak highly enough of this store. i went in earlier today looking for materials to paint a dresser. Karen walked with me to help me choose what to purchase. not once did she try to upsell me or make me feel dumb. she answered all of my questions and even took the time to explain things i didn't ask about. she even asked me to bring in a picture of my dresser upon completion. other employees were personable, friendly, and helpful without being overbearing. absolutely a top-notch experience, looking forward to going back. keep it up ace hardware! read more

I second Nicole H's review. As soon as you walk in, someone is there to help you AND on the rare occasion that that person doesn't know something they ask someone else. I don't know how many times I've gone to home depot or lowes and I would ask someone where something is and they either tell you its not their department or they act like you are bothering them. You may pay a bit more for things here but its well worth it if you ever need help finding something and don't have time to waste. read more

Since we moved here we have visited this ACE so much! The location was the motivation to go here but the customer service is what keeps us coming back. The managers and employees are always willing to help and unlike box stores, you can actually find an employee. The rewards program is also nice, and while the hours sometimes haunt me (Sunday late afternoons) the fact that they are helpful and clean will keep us coming back. The prices are fair considering I'd have to waste gas and the stress of driving to the box stores, so it's a win for me! read more

I used to go to Home Depot for all my hardware needs but since I discovered this location of ACE hardware 2 miles away from where I live I would never go back to Home Depot again the quality of the service is impeccable people were willing to go out of their way to help you and if they don't have what you needs they can order it for you but I pretty much found everything that I needed great experience will definitely be back and shop at a smaller more customer friendly than Home Depot although you could find certain things at Home Depot that you can't find at Ace hardware so I'm not leaving them out but I do love the quality of the customer service and the attention that you get when you're shopping there hope it stays that way. read more

I find most everything I need and when I forget something they are nearby. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I have been a customer for over 30 years (fun fact: they were once located up the street where the by-pass eastbound entrance is). Even in these trying times you will find helpful people at Bell Ace! I placed an order online and it was ready to pick up the next day. It was mostly mulch and soil. They got my order and Joe started to fill my car. I had to make 2 trips so after Joe finished I wanted to tip him and he refused saying he was the owner and only wanted a review. Not very happy with this place at all, ordered an air conditioner for pick up paid for it got an order number didn't hear anything for 3 hours so called them come to find out they never pulled it and sold it to someone else. And now they have no more in stock they said In two weeks. Im like I don't think so give me back my money I will go to Home depot for better service. read more

Super friendly staff, I needed deck screws and a nice girl took me to the back to the screws and then needed to help someone else and within a couple min an older gentleman was already on his way to help me. I didn't even need help but they wanted to make sure I was taken care of! Always friendly and willing to help and that goes a long way. read more
