    One of my favorite places to shop. I love their As seen on tv section! But some stuff is a bit overpriced.

    AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!…read more Bought a pool from Northampton Pools and Patio in late may with an install in the middle of June. We set up the install a couple months prior. They gave us a list of 4 subcontractors. One installer no longer installed the pools, one didn't return a call, one had a very negative review and low rating, which left us with a gentleman known named Matt. We went through over three weeks of no shows or doing little to no work. He showed up on the day of our install and said he couldn't do the work. He promised to return the next day. He never showed. He promised everyday to show and ended up showing the next Wednesday. He dropped off his trailer and bobcat, returned two hours later and dropped off a dump trailer. He took the trailer and bobcat and returned two days later. He'd promise to come out and never show occurred at least a dozen times. He finally showed up on Friday and did work but couldn't complete it due to missing parts. Northampton pools ordered the wrong parts initially. We were promised an over night delivery on the new parts. I went to the store a day and half later only to be told they weren't overnighted and were coming on Tuesday. Almost a week later we got the parts. It took 5 separate deliveries to get all our parts. Our first delivery we weee told to skids would show up and we only got one. We approached Greg the owner about a refund which he wouldn't honor. After several rounds of trying to get their help to assist with the installer, the one employee stated that are contractor does near perfect work but isn't all there upstairs. We ended up firing our installer a d losing half our install fee and found a new guy. He insisted the karts still were t right but managed to get our pool set up. It was the most frustrating and stressful experience I've ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and go with another pool company.

    I visited the Southmont Mattress Firm store on 10/15/2022 with the intention of trying out the…read morepurple mattresses. The salesman, Marcus, seemed to be very helpful. I explained that I need a firmer mattress because I have back problems and that I sleep extremely hot and have been having issues with mattresses with memory foam in them because they trap the heat and I can't sleep through the night.  I liked the Stearns and Foster Cassatt model and it was my lucky day because they were selling the floor model at 50% off. I was concerned about buying it because the sign said all sales final. I was reassured that I absolutely would not be hot on that mattress and it would meet my needs. I was also concerned because I have had mattresses that body indents formed within a month and made those mattresses uncomfortable and added to my back woes. Marcus said that since it was the floor model, many people had laid on it and if there were going to be any issues, he would have already seen them. He told me that I should not have body indent issues as long as I use a mattress protector. I had to sign that I understood the sale was final. With such a big purchase, I was still concerned. He assured me that if something went wrong or I didn't like it, he would work something out with me. Even though I was signing the sales final paperwork, I just had to call back and speak directly to him. I should have known better than to trust a salesman. I slept on the mattress for two weeks. There are already softer valleys where I sleep. My back is in so much pain, but the worst part is how incredibly hot the mattress is. I wake up so sweaty all through the night that I have developed a heat rash on my chest and back. I am even using the cooling mattress protector Marcus sold me. I called Mattress Firm 11/5 only to find out that Marcus no longer works there. I was referred to the store manager, Cindy. I spoke to Cindy and she had absolutely no sympathy because I signed the paperwork. She said the cooling pad should take care of all the heat and she has "no idea why I would still be hot." I expressed that I was truly disappointed by the whole experience and would not recommend Mattress Firm to anyone based on this run around and false promises. She said there is really nothing she can do because since it is the floor model, there isn't even a manufacturer's warranty on it. I said there must be something they can do. She said she would speak to the district manager, but based on these interactions, I am not holding out hope. Today is 11/10 and I have not heard from them. I will be filing charges with my credit card and the BBB if something is not done.  In a world where most mattress companies give 90 day to 365 day sleep trials (with free returns), I feel that there is something Mattress Firm CAN do, they are just CHOOSING to leave customers unhappy. Instead, I am stuck with an expensive mattress I can't sleep on, and an overwhelming negative attitude towards a company. As a young, single female, I feel like I was purposely given false information and taken advantage of in order to make a sale.
