Decent sized DT in Easton area. This store was well organized and fully stocked…read more I found mini storage containers that I'd been unable to find at seven other stores! I was overjoyed because I use them for jewelry I donate to charity, and DT's mini containers are just perfect for my needs; strong, look nice, and affordable. So glad I stopped. They had so many more options and products that my Phila area stores never stock. Got some extra winter kids' items to stuff in my toddler's backpack and my car, just in case. I also stock winter hats and gloves in my car in case I see a homeless person in the cold season. This place was filled with hat/glove/scarf items!!!

2024 All it takes is one discourteous interaction with an…read moreill mannered sales clerk and ALL the best prices in the current retail market can't be overridden. This is a post about the Jr department sales clerk, GAIL, who took it upon herself to negate my price adjustment/return today with her poor attitude and condescending words. A few weeks ago, I purchased several jr clothing items off the clearance rack for $1.99 and noticed the price marked IN RED on the ticket did not reflect on my receipt. 5 pairs of Wallflower overalls all rang up $1.99 except one pair and so, I stopped by the EASTON store to address it with the clerk, GAIL. I explained what happened and the first words out of her mouth were "these are Wallflowers and they never get reduced" followed by "there's no way to give you a price adjustment without seeing ALL the other wallflower overalls", followed by "why do you want to see a manager, she's going to tell you the same thing", followed by "there's nothing we can do" followed by "we don't ink the price in RED" blah, blah, blah. In the meantime, the department manager watched her and let her treat a GOOD customer in this manner and wouldn't share HER name because she didn't say anything wrong!! Who allows this clerk to treat customers this way? The asst mgr arrived and made the price adjustment but not w/o squaring it with the dept mgr first. Unacceptable, GAIL. You need a refreshment course in customer service and interactional training to better address a complaint with a customer.

Can lightening strike twice in the same place? Not…read morenormally but damn, have I lucked out with stuff at this Kohl's. Same premise as last time. I needed new kicks (man I hate that term) and remembering that last year I had some really good luck here I went to the well again. Low and behold they still had the exact same style in stock, in store, on sale, with the ability to add promo-coupon-discount codes and by using the old lady's Kohl's card there was another discount. The email came an hour later to come on down and pick things up. The only hiccup came when I got to the customer service desk in the store as they didn't have the order at the desk so someone had to be dispatched to find where the shoes were. Two minutes later shoes in hand I took off. I would rather core my eyes out with a melon baller than go shopping but if you have do it and if you know exactly what you need this system from Kohl's works exactly as advertised.

She said she needs the original receipt. I said this is the original receipt (I am going to email corporate a copy of all this) because she started to get loud and said because she is the store manager, she can. I said excuse me? I said Denise was doing my refund and you decided to interrupt us and now you're giving me a hard time? Tia continues to say, she is the store manager and it's her job. Is it really your job to be rude and obnoxious? My items had tags and receipts but because I spoke up for myself, Tia had an issue with that. Don't "abuse" your so called store manager privilege. Tia then decided to cancel my refund and ask me to leave her store. Talbots, how do you hire a store manager like Tia to represent your company?! It's horrible and degrading to treat someone like this and keep in mind, there were other customers in the store too. How can Tia act so unprofessional?! And please check your store cameras to validate my claims. From the minute she walked in, she decided to give me a hard time when a customer is allow to make returns if the items are too big. I definitely want corporate to review this and she should step down from her so called Store Manager role. Being kind is very simple. If Tia can't be kind, then she should not be working with customers at all. The only reason I am speaking up is because I do not want this to happen to any one else especially elderly who can't stand up for themselves. And Denise said, she couldn't process the return either because she has to listen to her store manager, Tia. Horrible work ethics and shame on them for treating people like this.
