I will say this she really should have asked her mom or I to go with her being she is young. She found a dress she wanted however it was to small at the top the zipper would not close by about 6 inches. Well one of the sales people told her a seamstress would be able to help with that. Now mind you my grand daughter believed this girl. I am not a seamstress bit worked most of my life in sewing factories and doing much home sewing. You can not are something that is to small and add to it unless you have the seam allowance and face it you don't have seam allowances that large. I called the store an asked to speak to the manager. I told her that my grand daughter and her friend were in and that I felt it was very poor for a store that wants to be reputable to mislead a young girl as was done. I was told there are no returns. Then the manager calls me a liar saying that her sales people never give names of seamstress. I point blank told her that someone gave the names they were written in handwriting that is not my grand daughters writing. H friend also vouched that the names were given by the sales girl. The manager the called me names and they were nasty she called me an F'in b_ tch. And preceded to hang up on me. I called back and told the manager that I wanted the name and number of her supervisor. She responded that she is the manager and there is no one above her and hung up on me again. I called the Willow Grove store and talked to a very nice and helpful woman. I explained to her what happened and she apologized for the staff at Lehigh Valley. The very nice woman gave me the phone number for corporate and apologized again. I will tell anyone to never shop the store at Lehigh Valley Mall. This stores staff is extremely unprofessional and needs a complete change.​

The sales assistants are so nice and friendly. Here's a tip, ask if there are additional sizes in the back. I was able to purchase 3 additional pieces I really liked by asking. I love their clothing and although full price is kinda pricey, the sales are incredible. The store is well laid out. Nice assortment of clothing - casual and dressy. They limit the number of customers in the store at one time so if you open the door and check they will wave you in or ask you to wait. Overall I was extremely happy with my shopping experience. I am not a regular shopper at White House Black Market but I think i might visit more often since I've been pleasantly surprised each time I went.

For $60-$80 per dress, they were a good value. At the original $190/dress, they were overpriced. The sales gal was more than patient with me, actually bringing me more and more dresses to try on despite not asking her too. One of the two I purchased were ones that she brought to me. They are a great place for helping you put together a full outfit (shoes, jewelry, etc).

Everything on sale, and I had a coupon. I was ready to purchase many items needed for an upcoming trip. I nicely asked the 2 salespeople at the desk if I could make an even exchange on an item (with ALL tags in tact) that I needed in a smaller size. One woman said "I'm not the manager, and you have to ask the manager", who was standing directly beside her! The manager was eating a sandwich as she looked at me in a very condescending manner. She asked me to repeat my request. I nicely repeated my request (even though I knew she heard me, but I also work in retail, so I wanted to be gracious). As she continued eating her sandwich behind the service desk, right out in the open, the manager tells me she cannot accommodate me. All while holding her hand up in front of her mouth as she spoke and did not even use a napkin. The manager said she will only accept a return within 2-3 days. (Like what??) I thanked them and then immediately left because I just could not stand to give my money to that store after this interaction. The manager took another bite of her lunch (like use your employee room to eat your food!) and didn't even look up at me again. These women were beyond uninviting and rude! No wonder the store was empty with zero customers.
