She took the time to help me find the perfect items, answered all my questions, and was incredibly patient throughout my visit. I just learned that not all Macy's stores offer this service -- it's free !!!!!!!! I have always dreaded clothes shopping. Trying to find the right sizes and giving up after trying on five or six or pair of pants, etc. I have shopped with Diane twice. I am to continue. It's so easy. I call to make an appointment and tell her what types of things I am looking for. When I arrive at my appointment, Diane has certain items already "pulled" and ready for me in a huge, private dressing room. I can even. Send her the Macy's web ID of items I would like to try. If those items are at the Lehigh Valley store she will set them aside. She also applies all my coupons in the best ways possible - even if it requires separate transactions. She does not pressure me to purchase. She gives her honest opinion. No tipping - no fee!!!! She can also go and help select shoes and jewelry to match outfits. I also use Plenti points and have done extremely well with that program as well. Why not try a personal shopper if it is free? If you are like me and get frustrated trying on clothes, this will change how you feel about clothes shopping. Also, Diane is extremely sensitive to women who may be self conscious about their figures. I would like to add my experience with four outstanding Macy's employees on Jan. 28, 2020. Destinng works on the upper level, in thee Macy's Backstage area. I wanted to make a small purchase. I had a pair of boots and several items to return. She happily took caree of all of them. Macy's is fortunate to have her she is upbeat, kind and efficient. Leah was incredibly helpful in the CPA at area on thr second level. She gave her honest feedback when asked AAMI was very pleasant. I bought a cool new pair of patent-leather heels from MIlton in shoes. Not onllu is he a great salesperson, he is a good conversationalist. Lastly, Sheilaa helped me in the handbag/jewelry area. I was trying to figure out whether or not a pair of earrings matched a necklace well enough. She put the necklace on and held up the earrings. Talk about amazing customer service!

The sales assistants are so nice and friendly. Here's a tip, ask if there are additional sizes in the back. I was able to purchase 3 additional pieces I really liked by asking. I love their clothing and although full price is kinda pricey, the sales are incredible. The store is well laid out. Nice assortment of clothing - casual and dressy. They limit the number of customers in the store at one time so if you open the door and check they will wave you in or ask you to wait. Overall I was extremely happy with my shopping experience. I am not a regular shopper at White House Black Market but I think i might visit more often since I've been pleasantly surprised each time I went.

They stock a style & size of New Balance sneakers that basically does not exist regularly even on Amazon. Sometimes the Dark Lord of Retail will have it, but most of the time it's listed as out of stock versus here where they always seem to have one or two in stock at all times. 2. Like most people I feel that come here - my old lady's Amazon returns. Seemingly there is always a small line to process them here but at least they take them, and the wait is never bad. Everything on sale, and I had a coupon. I was ready to purchase many items needed for an upcoming trip. I nicely asked the 2 salespeople at the desk if I could make an even exchange on an item (with ALL tags in tact) that I needed in a smaller size. One woman said "I'm not the manager, and you have to ask the manager", who was standing directly beside her! The manager was eating a sandwich as she looked at me in a very condescending manner. She asked me to repeat my request. I nicely repeated my request (even though I knew she heard me, but I also work in retail, so I wanted to be gracious). As she continued eating her sandwich behind the service desk, right out in the open, the manager tells me she cannot accommodate me. All while holding her hand up in front of her mouth as she spoke and did not even use a napkin. The manager said she will only accept a return within 2-3 days. (Like what??) I thanked them and then immediately left because I just could not stand to give my money to that store after this interaction. The manager took another bite of her lunch (like use your employee room to eat your food!) and didn't even look up at me again. These women were beyond uninviting and rude! No wonder the store was empty with zero customers.
