It's a bit expensive in general but is competitively priced for an Aveda salon. The women who worked on my hair were so friendly! They chatted with me (but not too much) and, more importantly, helped me figure out what to do with my hair! I had gotten highlights at another Aveda salon so I just gave the woman at Top Notch the same formula. She adjusted it slightly to her preference and it came out perfect! They also sell all of the Aveda products there if you're just interested in those. Although they are open normal hours, I recommend making an appointment. I was always able to get in when I wanted.

After 15 min of wandering around the cluttered and poorly laid out shop, I was offered half hearted help. Appreciate that they asked how much I wanted to spend, not the body language I observed when I told her how much. Giving 2 stars as I actually did find a gift for my mother, and the items were I guess reasonably priced based on them being on sale. They have a variety of things that are completely unnecessary in life, but nice to have.
