My most purchased items are jewelry. It was not until recently that I discovered it was a consignment shop. I had quite a few things I wanted to sell and realized I could do it at The Attic. I had a great experience with the consignment process, very simple. I received wonderful one on one attention with my things and any follow up questions I had were quickly answered. The whole staff is super nice and helpful and they play great music in the shop, which always makes for a pleasant shopping or browsing experience. I will continue to patronize The Attic whether I have any consignments or not. It's a terrific place in a fabulous location. Love it there, it has such a great vibe!

The workers always are pre occupied and doesn't greet you ( well me anyway). I was in the back looking at items with a worker 2 feer from me and she never acknowledged my existence until I greeted her. I've been in customer service for over 30 years and kindness, like honey, will draw more people, not bees. Be a little more welcoming . ​

This shop is super cute with a great selection of dresses. I like that they have the dresses sorted by size so that I don't fall in love with a size 2 that I can't squeeze into. The woman working there was also super nice and helpful. They have a nice large fitting room with great mirrors. She and my boyfriend found this dress that I wasn't crazy about and talked me into trying it on. It fit well and was actually much better once I had it on. Without their encouragement, I totally would have passed over this dress that was perfect for what I was looking for. They have designer dresses at great prices for all sorts of occasions. I was here midday on a Sunday and was very happy that they were open since many stores on Main Street are closed on Sundays. I will definitely stop back here when I am in the area. And they take credit card which is great since not all consignment shops do. So I drove the 2 hours from Manhattan to buy my bike here, and I don't regret it for a second. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and I was given advice both by the sales staff and mechanics. They took the time to make sure I not only understood the pros and cons of various bikes/models but also the proper maintenance necessary to minimize the professional maintenance I'd need in the future. On top of amazing service, they offered such a good price that I questioned if I was perhaps buying a stolen bike. I kid you not when I say that the bike I bought was selling for $300 more in Manhattan at every shop I talked to. And did I mention that most of the accessory gear I bought was on sale for about 20-30% off. Add to that the fact that the shop has a 100% satisfaction guarantee with no time limit and you have one of the best buying experiences I've ever had in my life. Like all bike shops they only carry a handful of brands, but they have a ton of models, and again if you are looking at Fuji bikes, end your search here. All I have…read moreto say is I am still 100% satisfied with the work they've done on my Fuji Altamira 2.0 LE and customer service received. I've recently purchased set of full carbon wheels 700c on Amazon, SRAM 10 speed red Shimano cassette and Michelin Pro4 Comp tires to upgrade factory components on my Fuji. Although I've managed to install the cassette and tires on my own, I didn't feel comfortable readjusting the limits on my Ultegra derailleur set screws especially need bike performing top shape for Sunday's Schuykill 60 mile ride with Philly Bike Club. Because my original cassette were Shimano SDi and in purchasing the SRAM PD-1070, I didn't realize cog offsets were different and adjustment were needed on derailleur hi/lo limits. I am by no means expert tweaking bikes so I brought it in to have it looked at. Paul met me up front and took my bike back put on stand... As he was tweaking my derailleur, I've said can you install these carbon brakes that came with wheel. No problem he said but then looked at my brake sets, I had TekPro that came with my bike. He said nope I can't mount these as different type cartridge. Then he pulled out these new Ultegra BP6800 and recommended that I upgrade. The price was very reasonable to EBay or Amazon. I said go ahead and having my service plan really help some discount labor. New brake caliper set including install $119.00... Again very reasonable considering labor included. So left bike overnight as I was late coming into shop. Next day, I was hoping that Justin, technician that does excellent work would be in but ended up getting Ryan to work on my bike. Tell you what, he was very professional and took time to answer my questions and concerns. Took the bike back for spin and everything was great... Yeah I did feel difference with new BP6800 as appose to TekPro. On the carbon frame surface, it wasn't immediate stoppage but it was firm. All in all, request for either Justin or Ryan and you'll be happy as I am. They were very courteous and understand that I am no expert and learn something while watching them work on my bike. No complaints and I'll be back again for future upgrades if I can't handle it.

As any fellow Big Foot knows, finding stylish, attractive shoes in the 11 to 12 size range is nearly impossible. I don't even know what girls with size 13+ do. Cut off some toes??? Prior to living in Allentown, I did a lot of online shopping and Nordstrom Rack-ing of shoes. It was expensive and sad. There's something about the shoe shopping community. You try on a shoe, prance around a little bit, hop and skip in heels as if you're preparing for an NBA game, and make that agonizing decision whether to buy or not. I have been pretty much cut out of that experience because the majority of shoe stores only sell up to a 9 or 10. This DSW, unlike other locations, really sells a lot of 11's and quite a number of 12. The clearance rack in the back always has something cute in a 12. I appreciate the inclusiveness. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is because I want them to try even harder to get more 11's and 12's. I also wish their boot game was upped a little bit.
