Wonderful experience with Honey SPAS. I thought my hot tub developed a leak but it turned out to be a loose joint but they still checked everything out and made sure my spa was in top shape. After the work was done I got a phone call from the operations manager and a few weeks later a personalized card. This kind of attention to customer service is what keeps my business. If I could give zero stars, I would. If you value your money, I do not recommend buying from here. I only wish that we read these reviews here prior to ordering from this place. We ordered a used hot tub this year and upon delivery, we were told that the hot tub's cover in which they provided would need to be replaced. Boy, were they right! Had we known that from the beginning, we would not have ordered this hot tub. Remnants from the cover were getting into the hot tub water, making it seem not too safe to use. On top of it, the hot tub also had a leak that we needed to get fixed which we learned when filling the tub with water. So, let's just review...1)It arrived at delivery with a terrible cover that were made aware of at time of delivery...2) It had a leak which we had to get repaired. We paid what we thought was a decent amount for this hot tub. When I called to make this place aware of our concerns and findings, the person who answered the call was condescending and not very sensitive to the concerns we reported, I asked for a call back and 2+ weeks later...no call back received. I don't like to make accusations but as a customer, this truly did feel like a scam as we did not receive proper communication regarding the issues beforehand and were given an item that paled in comparison to our expectations. Additionally, we were given an estimate time of arrival and when they arrived early, it was a rush for us to get to the home in time complete the delivery as it is. Tim has absolutely NO right owning a business as you can see in multiple reviews. i have never ONCE heard of a business owner being so disrespectful. not even just being disrespectful making up things that were never said to over charge someone. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! Had two people sent to fix my hot tub. One helper and one professional. The helper was sitting around twirling his thumbs and swinging things around doing nothing. Would carry the tools, but that's literally about it. The girl knew what she was doing. Was charged $95/hour for both! How is it fair that someone who literally doesn't know what they are doing gets paid just as much as the person who does?! After "repairing" my hot tub, they left two hoses disconnected!!!! Needless to say, they are leaking a lot from not being sealed or connected to anything! Was told that they will come back next year to fix the hoses. It's currently June! As always I used Honey Spas for winterizing my hot tub, and then had them prep it for the new season. Our lid was damaged from the weather and snow, so Honey Spas sent me info on getting a new one. I had my choice of at least 10 different colors. Honey Spas made it, and came out and installed it. Could I found someone closer,...I'm sure. Cheaper.......probably. PART 2 At some point the same day either he called my husband back or my husband called him back. I only heard the tail end of the conversation where Tim said he just didn't understand how we got where we were. My husband explained we got here because we were verbally assaulted. To his credit, Tim did say he could have handled things differently. And there. Right there is where we could have gotten back on track, but his overwhelming need to be right at all costs turned things sour again. He said we had no right to ask him for a reimbursement and to insinuate people didn't do their jobs. My husband said he felt he had every right to ask for a reimbursement because clearly people hadn't done their jobs and added that if he had been told calmly that we could not be reimbursed then life would have gone on. After spending $12K for a swim spa, another $180 for water wasn't going to ruin us. Tim also said we were told that someone from the company should have been there when the water was delivered. I did not recall this, but it sure would have been nice if Ellyn or Krystal would have reminded us of that when we told them when the water was coming. They ended the conversation at that point. Two minutes later Tim called back and we agreed to let the call go to voice mail. We had had enough drama and upset for one day. The voice message was that he would allow his people to come out and give us the orientation we were due; we just needed to call him back to schedule it. I gathered some energy and told my husband I was going to call him back just so we could figure out how to use the swim spa and hopefully never need to interact with Tim again. It bothered me that he had called my husband back and not me and I had a nagging suspicion that this man did not like to deal with women he couldn't push around. So I called him back and he acted like we were best friends and nothing had happened. I asked to schedule a date and a time for the orientation. He said he'd be happy to do that but he would need something from me. He hollered to Ellyn the day and time I had proposed and she said she would schedule it. He told me he found the email where I was instructed to have someone from the company there when the water was delivered. OK, I guess I missed that. There were many emails. To this day I haven't looked for the email because at this point it doesn't matter, and he just needs to be right. Again, maybe someone could have mentioned this when we spoke to two company representatives about water delivery and timing. He then said he was happy to send someone out to do our orientation if...get ready for it...I apologized to him for my behavior. Biggest HUH??? ever. I've dealt with bullies before and I don't back down. I remained quiet and he told me that this is when I apologize and ask for his forgiveness. I said that would not be happening and I wasn't going to play his games any longer. He yelled for Ellyn to take us off the schedule and hung up. And that was that. We were left with a half full swim spa on a freezing cold February night and had absolutely no idea what to do. I called our landscaper Brian and brought him up to speed. He was furious. He could not believe anyone would leave a job undone, let along leave us in a situation where the water and pumps could freeze and ruin everything. He suggested I call the water guy back and get the spa filled, which I did. He then came out - keep in mind this was about 9 pm - and in the pitch dark, he figured out how to get the heater running. God bless that man. We tried calling several spa and pool places, but when they found out no company actually manufactured our spa, they wouldn't help us. We finally found Goodall Pools who sent a person out to give us an orientation on what chemicals to add, how to install the filters, etc. We felt like we were finally on firm ground. And that's about when the spa started shutting off for no reason. We refused to call Honey Spas back because the warranty is through them, but we hadn't submitted our warranty card on time - because we were too damn busy trying to figure out how to work the spa, but also I did not ever want to deal with anyone from that company again. Brian called to confront Tim about what happened and in the end, Brian broke off all ties with him and will not recommend him ever again. I'm not sure we'll ever find another professional person with such integrity as Brian Nolt again. Fast forward a few more months and now the spa shuts off arbitrarily 4-5 times a day. Brian has helped as much as he can, but we are left with a swim spa that doesn't work. We've had to pay electricians to tell us the electric is fine and that it's an issue with a pump dragging a bit, which automatically trips the breaker. So now we are on the schedule for end of July for a Goodall pool repairman to come out and try to assess the issue. At this point I don't even want to think about the swim spa let alone use it. This Spring, we rented a hot tub from Honey Spas for a graduation party at our house. The staff were easy to deal with, very accommodating, and made the whole experience easy as could be. They brought the tub to our house, parked and leveled it, filled it, and left us with easy instructions about how to take care of it. Two weeks later, when we were finished enjoying it, they came back, emptied it, and removed it, easy as that. The hot tub operated well, suited our needs just right, and we enjoyed using it every day while we had it. I wold highly recommend Honey Spas to anyone! read more

I wanted you to address my concerns and when the owner called me back he told me I sent a "F$&@ed up email" and then he continued to swear and curse at me. How is that serious??? No thank you. I tried to be nice but the 4th phone call of being cursed at was enough for me. Your 100% complete and working hot tub needed $350 of service and parts to get it to run properly. So not only did you lose the chance to sell me a cover, but you lost the service call and chemicals too. No worries over here! I found better deals on the web. When I'm ready for a new tub I'll make sure I don't call you. To think all you had to do was send someone here to look at it and replace 2 sensors on the heater and I'd probably would have been satisfied. Maybe one day you'll learn to not put you husband on the phone with customers that aren't happy. Maybe you'll even learn that there are better deals on the web and your pricing isn't exactly in line. Your $500 cover cost me $340 delivered! Also sending a letter asking for a review from someone that didn't have a great experience was a bad idea too. Good luck read more

We hired Honey Spas to commission an existing hot tub that was present at a house we had recently bought. They told us they could get us up and running for approximately $500. After repeated visits, they were unable to properly fix the hot tub and get it to run properly without leaks. After the first visit, I noticed the hourly rate of the main "technician," who was a girl in her early 20s, was $95/hr., and the rate for the other "technician," a man in his early 20s, was $35/hr. A good part of their time was spent sitting on their cell phones waiting for their heater to thaw the water inside our hot tub. They also charged us for time off site that was supposedly spent obtaining materials for the job. I questioned their hourly rates and how they were spending their time at the job site, and they told me to contact the owner, who was the father of the girl whose rate was $95. They also insisted on payment at the end of each day spent on the job, which is unusual for contracting jobs. At the end of the job, when the broken pump was to be installed to supposedly"complete the job," I contacted the owner to discuss the job. I expressed to him that I thought his rates and times to commission the hot tub were excessive, and his response was to rudely tell me he wasn't finishing the job of installing the pump, and that I was insulting in questioning their companies skills and rates. I paid $1,300 in labor and $334 in parts for nothing. Avoid this business and this owner at all costs. You probably won't have to for long, because service and skills like this are bound to make this place go out of business anyway. A friend who lives in Schwenksville, PA, gifted me and my husband a six-person hot tub. We contacted every moving company within an 80 mile radius and they all said "We do not move hot tubs". So finally, I thought...why not contact a business that sells hot tubs to find out who they hire to delivery their hot tubs? That was when my husband contacted several hot tub retailers, and found out that only ONE in the region (within an 80 mile radius of Philadelphia) offers that service. Honey Spas did a very good job of relocating the hot tub from our friend's house in Schwenksville, PA to our residence in Philadelphia, PA They were prompt, friendly and adept. The tub weighs about 600 lbs and they charged us $800. Now we need to wait until we have the money to order the chemicals and purchase a new control panel. Please stay away from Honey Spas. We purchased a swim spa from them in January for $12,600.00. We paid in cash and promptly at the insistence of Tim Honey to help keep his men working through the winter. We were promised delivery by the middle of May, but it was delivered Memorial Day weekend and we had to provide 95% of the manpower. We were promised by Tim Honey in front of all the men of my family and friends that whatever we needed he would be there for us. It is only his second swim spa, so he said there may be some issues but he would be there for us every step of the way. Our swim spa has only be in for three weeks and has silicone rings floating in it every time we turn on the jets. He never came over to instruct us how to dispense the proper chemicals and the jets as he promised. My husband had to go to honey spas, where his wife gave him a little pamphlet on programing the filtration system and sold us $300.00 in chemicals with no extra filters, that were part of the package.   Our swim spa has been green and slimy now for a week. My husband called Tim Honey and left a message to inform him about the condition of the swim spa in the beginning of the week with no response. I private messaged him on face book about returning our call and the state of the swim spa. He finally called and was very defensive and argumentative with my husband. He told him that he would send his daughter out to get a sample today which never happened. I posted a comment about hoping anyone in the future who buys a swim spa, once it's delivered, I hope they hear from him. He called our home phone last nigh twice and my husband's work cell phone twice , leaving a very irate, rude message demanding an apology. I spoke to him this morning 6/19 to no satisfaction. He told me I should behave and apologize to him. He spoke to us about the previous owner in a derogatory manner calling Carlos' wife the most horrible b word he ever met. I told him how unprofessional I felt this was calling his customer such horrible things and that it is slander and unprofessional to share that with us. He informed me that when he speaks about me to his customers he will be using the same vernacular unless I behave and apologize. I responded to him that he was a misogynist, and hated women. He responded, "that's right I hate women, that's the way I will always be, take it or leave it." Is this the way you treat your customers who paid $12,600 for a product, you will not stand by? Scream, yell and insult them when they need their swim spa serviced. My husband called him to admonish him to never speak to his wife in this manner. He told my husband if he wanted the 2000 lb. spa serviced to bring it in. Is this professional behavior? For the extreme price your paying for this product, the quality and customer service is not there. The cheapest materials were used for the cabinet of the swim spa. He still would not do anything about this $12,600 green pond. It is expensive lawn furniture now. When my husband brought the water sample over to Tim Honey, his daughter informed us the bromine was too low, which means the filtration system isn't working correctly to distribute the chemicals throughout the swim spa. My husband told Tim Honey that we were told by Ellyn Honey that the $300.00 in chemicals would last a year.  My husband told Tim Honey, the way we were going through chemicals to make the water clear, they would barely last a few months.  Tim Honey's curt response was to refund us the $300.00 and told us to get the chemicals elsewhere.  My husband did precisely that and balanced the swim spa himself. Tim Honey still refused to help us and threatened to tear my husband apart. He also refused to give us our 30 year warranty which is part of our purchase agreement and to take legal action to get it, which we have done. We also filed a report with the police for the harassment and threat to do bodily injury to my husband. Don't ever do business with this man or his company. You will regret it. Our attorneys received a warranty from Honey Tubs that is virtually useless. Our cover 5 year warranty and shell warranty for 35 years is a manufacture guarantee, not from Honey Spas. Wood cabinet is one year. Electrical parts three years 100%, and year 4 and 5 at 50%. Control systems, one year but all parts provided by manufacturer are under their warranty eg., ozonators, lights, fuses etc. All shipping and labor costs to repair are not covered. Honey wants notice by writing with the original receipt of purchase ten days before they will repair it. My attorneys advised me not to have Honey Spas service my swim spa for he has proven to be so disreputable, they do no trust him. They and we believe he would deliberately sabotage the swim spa. I can not stress enough, stay away from this business, and if you do trust this man, that you know he is lying just because he speaks, Don't sign anything until you have everything in writing including a warranty. read more

Called Honey Spas this morning because I was trying to replace my pump on a Coleman Spa. I was immediately asked if I was price shopping, my reply was that I live in Exeter twp and would like to buy from someone local as long as the price was close. I was told to go on the internet, this person could not (or would not) help me. I stated again that I would like to buy from someone close, my reply was once again, I can't help you, go on the Internet. So I did. Found great customer service, received advice on installation and my order shipped today. My advice to honey spas, better improve customer service, otherwise you will not grow your business. We moved into a new home where there is an existing hot tub. We needed to have it checked out because it was giving an error code, so we called the number on the sticker on the hot tub. Honey Spas. They come out, tell us water level was low, fill it, "everything is good", and they are on their way. . Days later same code. We call again. Owner tells us they can come out next day around 11. We take a half day (unpaid) from work. After we get out to the car my husband sees he has a voicemail. It's the guy from Honey Spas saying that because we didn't e-sign the contract he sent in our email he cancelled the appointment. I asked my husband if the guy ever informed him during the making of the appointment that he was sending this email or that it needed to be taken care of. NOPE! My husband calls and owner says "I needed it signed before we could come out, it wasn't signed, I cancelled the appointment." My husband explains we didn't see the email and tells him he didn't let us know or we would have looked for it and signed it, and now we took off work for them. Pretty much it was an "oh well". I am next to him in the car, so I can hear. I said TO MY HUSBAND "they never told us about an email to sign anything, and now we took a half day off work for nothing.". I wasn't yelling or swearing. That was it. Just expressing again TO MY HUSBAND my frustration and disappointment. My husband hangs up the phone without saying anything else. I look at him like what's going on. He tells me that the guy heard me and said to my husband "you are going to have to find someone else to service your hot tub. That sounds hostile to me." Are you kidding me?!?! Hostile?? BEWSRE!! Bought a tub that was supposed to be refurbished. A month later it was delivered leaking, all original parts instead of replaced parts. Not all jets working. When I called to ask what happened and to please come fix it, I was yelled at and cursed at by Tim. Ellyn sent me a photo of the as-is paper. 1 MONTH LATER it completely died. They would have made decent money HONESTLY, but they would rather be crooks. Wonder how they sleep at night? I could never rip off a customer and then treat them like crap. Owner is very unprofessional and does not take the time to explain company policy requiring a credit card prior to service call. Instead when he was asked why the credit card was required before coming onsite, he said to find someone else to repair our spa (which they refurbished in 2017 and we have had more problems since the refurbishment than before) and then used very offensive language. They do not stand behind their work or their parts. Our control panel was replaced during refurbishment and they had to come back out to seal due (which means a sloppy application of silicone) and now the control panel is not working at all and they want to charge $95 just to come look at it. I will never do business with this company again and am considering just buying a new spa since this one just keeps costing us more money. read more

I called for a leak in my hot tub to be repaired. Other than the leak the hot tub was functioning smoothly. The call was handled by the owner Tim Honey. His daughter and a helper came to do the repair. It was a broken connection to a jet. She was very professional and the leak and broken connection was repaired. She told me that the spa pack had to be removed and reinstalled to make the repair. I was instructed to wait at least 24 hours until filling the hot tub and restarting it. I waited 48. I refilled it and when restarting it the pump hummed and no jets turned in. I called and spoke to Tim Honey. When I began to tell him the problem he interrupted me and told me there was an air lock and instructed me what to do to remove the air lock. This was loosening the water connection to the main pump. I did that and no success. Then I noticed than the water flow valve to the pump was closed. The instructions for removing the spa pack include closing the valves to avoid having to empty the tub. Obviously the valve was closed as part of removing the spa pack to do the leak repair. Upon discovery I opened the valve and everything was fine. THEN I phoned Tim Honey to report success and what had happened. One would think the response would be something along the lines of I should have suggested you check that or mistakes happen and we apologize. My purpose in calling was to let him know what happened and hopefully improve customer service in the future. I am happy with the repair and happy with his daughter and helper that did the repair. Things happen. The next part was shocking. Tim Honey launched into an expletive laden rant regarding what I terrible customer I was and that it was a defective valve that had vibrated shut (although the hot tub was not running) and threatening to never to perform service for me again LOL. The bottom line is this is a man and business that espouses Christian values while at the same time does not stand behind its work, take responsibility, does not understand the concept of customer service whose owner believes in verbally abusing paying customers. I never questioned payment. Simply wanted my hot tub running in the pre repair condition and only called Tim Honey to provide feedback to assist future customers. I won't make a judgment. BUYERS BEWARE!!! I bought a reconditioned hot tub from Honey Spas. It never work correctly from the day it was delivered. As soon as I turned it on for the first time, multiple parts fell off, I found ball bearings all over the bottom, the blower stopped working and it blew my circuit breaker. I couldn't get the water clean and when I took the filter basket apart, I found out it had no filter cartridge in it. I called and asked Tim to please check out what is going on with this spa and he sent out his daughter out. I found a note stating "Hot tub is in working order", and nothing was done. It finally became unusable. When I called again, he said someone could look at it in a week or so and it will cost $95 an hour. He refused to stand by the product he sold to me. I felt that having his company out would be useless and a waste of money so I called Neversink Hot Tubs. The owner of this company came out the same day and evaluated my hot tub. What he found was sickening. It was wired incorrectly and none of the electrical wires weren't grounded. It had no debris basket in place. The jets were totally shot, the blower was shot, the cabinet was shabbily made and was not made out of pressurized lumbar and will probably last less than 5 years. Gary from Neversink was able to rewire and make my hot tub usable on the first visit. It will probably cost me another $1000 to have this hot tub fixed correctly. I curse the day I ever met Tim and Ellen Honey! In response to Ellyn Honey's comment: I bought a hot tub that never worked correctly and was missing parts from the day is was delivered. I may not have any legal recourse, but that doesn't mean you are right. I was taken advantage of by a dishonest and immoral man and his family. I trusted and untrustedworthy company. Bought a reconditioned hot tub almost a year ago. it didn't work properly the day they delivered it,had problems since and still doesn't work to date! Although reconditioned hot tubs are sold "as is" i was given their word they would fix the hot tub....needless to say that wasn't any good either. All these negative reviews are correct, many positives are fake accounts. This company offers everything under the moon until taking your money. They offer warranties, they will be there every step of the way and they have guys who carry the spa. You will be swimming in 6 weeks. Garbage! Our spa took 4 months to deliver and still does not hold water 9 months after purchase. I was told by Ellen the delay was due to the cover not coming in. Tim slipped up a bit later and told me it was because the shell was cracked and the water ran out after testing, slow leaks. They did make sure to take a picture of the spa filled to hold against me before the slow leak took the water out. They can't keep their lies straight. He told me there were numerous problems with the spa but he didn't want to go into detail. That doesn't feel secure after they just cashed your payment. When I questioned delivery until I could check the spa, Ellen called my boyfriend behind my back to try to arrange delivery when he is not even on the transaction, just drove along with me. I didn't mind him answering the phone to take a message but I did not give permission for him to accept the spa. This is when they became irritated. When I went in to see the spa and check the shell, they would not let me get in the spa to check it. Your choices are take the spa as is or don't take it at all. They won't care at that point after money has been collected. They hold you hostage when you go in for hours when you just have a quick question. They tell all kind of crazy stories about always winning in court because they know judges and police, ghost stories, their house burning down. Never told me these stories before paying. You finally get an answer to your question like two hours later but it's a lie anyway. Moving on to the warranty. This is a rip off because when they bring your new spa and it's broken the first day, they say they might cover the part but will charge you 200/hour service for their faulty spa that they did not assemble properly. You would expect it to work the first time right? We have called several other companies for estimates and all have told us the spa is poorly built with the cheapest equipment off Amazon, the plumbing is not correct and the pump not strong enough. The plumbing was not connected properly, a piece was not even together and plumbing is broken with a hole like they dropped it loading it. We could see water running out and have not been able to keep it full. They also never put in the promised insulation they showed me on their shelf, nothing. Other companies are apologizing profusely telling me I was ripped off and they will rebuild the spa properly. We did call Honey and got voice mail but then decided to get everything in writing because we read that if you talk on the phone, you will get threatened or belittled (which did end up happening later). I was told online that they had been closed down and I believed it was Krystal I was talking to, apparently after being screamed at on the phone just now by Tim, it was Ellen I was speaking with online or whoever runs their facebook page and not his daughter (Not really relevant but that's all he called for, not the repair). I was told the company was shut down for the virus so it would be several months more before they could help me but I was supposed to say please. Mind you I have been waiting since last October so I will not beg. They brag online of all the spas they are delivering but still ignoring the broken ones, said those will be addressed in maybe 14 weeks after my year warranty ends, how convenient. Seems Honey Spas was the only one in the area closed as I needed service. Oh, Delivery, they promise a crew and then show up without them forcing you to carry the spa also. I've been ignored for months online and email asking for help but I got Tim's attention by writing a bad review. I absolutely love our hot tub! We purchased a refurbished/reconditioned tub from Honey Spas a few months back and are beyond pleased with our whole experience. They set us up with the perfect tub for our family and delivery/installation went down without a hitch. After daily use the chemicals started irritating me and my kiddos skin. Honey Tubs suggested a salt water generator. They installed it for us and we couldn't be happier. We now have a lot less chemicals in our water - our skin and our water feels better! I have always thought about switching my pool over to salt. This year I not only switched my pool to salt but I switched my hot tub to salt as well. I called Honey Spas and they took care of everything. I also was buying a new pump for my pool and Honey Spas hooked up the new pump and added the chlorine generator all at once, saving me a shut down later on. They even had a representative from the Chlorine generator company come out to do the final set-up of the product. I would highly recommend Honey Spas for any kind of work on you pool or spa. I wish I could give zero or negative stars. The owner Tim is by far the worst business owner I have ever come across. Has no business running a business or dealing with customers. They were supposed to come out and take a look at our hot tub today. They called and asked for a credit card number and when I asked why and said I'm not comfortable doing that until I knew what was wrong with it and how much it would be he interrupted our phone call to yell to someone to cancel my appointment. Did not take a min to explain the company policy until be tried to belittle me and say I was looking for free work. I explained to him how a part they put in (and installed very sloppy) seemed to be the issue he tried to talk down to me. Then starts cursing at me and tells me to find someone else to fix it. In my line of work (a contractor) if I install something and it's not done properly or creates an issue I take care of it free of charge. He had zero issue taking my families money about 1 1/2yr ago when we tried to clean up the looks of our hot tub. But when it was brought back and we had some issues he talked down to us some then but came and looked at it. Another part stopped working maybe a month later and he wanted to charge us a service fee and for the parts. My wife and I were told it was going to be looked over thoroughly when they were cleaning it up and refacing it. Guess that was a lie. We have had more issues since his company took it then we originally had. Hess crook and should not be in business. read more

This is the worst customer service and the owner is a bully. We purchased a new manufactured hot tub directly from the owner Tim Honey the president/owner. Everything was good and sound good but when it was two weeks and no hot tub I started to worry not even a courtesy call. Then I call and spoke to Krystal Honey and she said my Dad will get back to you. Two days no call . Then I called his wife said we are waiting for parts ¿ Then Tim Honey calls and yells at my daughter who is 16 years old. My daughter hands me the phone and Tim Honey starts calling me a lier and a crazy person. Fine I give in and asked when can I get my new hot tub delivered he informed me one week. Finally they come to deliver my tub and two persons Krystal and one other guy that seamed to be preoccupied on his cellphone. They installed the tub and there was many leaks they spent a weeks going back and forth getting parts and labor. Hot tub still leaks! Called Tim Honey on his cell phone and he said don't have time for you I'm a very important man ( Im on a special ops Steak-Out. ) What ever that meant. He's got some crazy story's about law enforcement operations. So at this point I come to a conclusion that I better get some one else to fix my brand new hot tub . He's called me back yelling and screaming. I called the police and they told me he has mental problems they no all about him. Stay away stay away. read more

This is the WORST business for Hot Tubs. We paid them to repair our heater in our indoor spa and then all of our metal & brass fixtures started to corrode. We were charged alot of money for the repair. We called to get assistance but the owner was RUDE and HOSTILE. We then called a reputable dealer - Apollo Spas and they were able to fix the damage that Honey Tubs did to our spa. We are now purchasing two brand new spas - Guess where we will be buying them from? AVOID this dealer!!! read more

It's unfortunate that one of the few hot tub companies in the area resorts to condescending behavior when a customer inquires about charges. I was surprised to learn that it took 3 hours to move a hot tub from the Reading Area to Downingtown. When I inquired about the total charge, I was told I would have to speak with the owner who would be left a message to call me. The owner never called so I followed up a week later. As soon as I identified myself, he became immediately defensive and unapologetic. I had purchased the hot tub from him 2 years prior. I thought that because I had done business with the owner before, that the same cordial demeanor would be afforded to me in this situation. Evidently, they are only professional when you are purchasing a hot tub or swim spa. Furthermore, the owner spoke to me in a misogynistic and patronizing tone as if I, the customer, had no right to call and question the bill. IN my opinion, I was being a thorough consumer. I'm sure if the owner sees this review, he will be quick to indicate that I had no right to question or "devalue" the work his employees performed. That was not the case. I was making sure that the charges incurred were correct because I have never paid for the drive time a service individual leaves their point of dispatch to reach the destination. In any event, please do not use these folks for business. You will be disappointed. read more

I had them come out and service a hot tub a bought off a friend, wired it up, for some reason it would not turn on..so I called the hot tub company that is closest to my house Honey spas, BIG MISTAKE they got the hot tub running, but literally YELLED at my girlfriend due to unsafe wiring- okay I get it, it was done by a licensed electrician, he was not done but it was wired and connected the correct way he just ran out of time the night before, no reason to yell at my girlfriend. the second issue is that yes they got the hot tub running but only one pump worked, they quoted me out a pump (roughly $700) since they said it was "shot" which I knew better due to the fact it was just replaced right before I bought the tub. So with one pump running I told my girlfriend to pay them and let them leave (I was at work while all this happened)I pulled open my control panel and replaced the .50 cent fuse and boom hot tub worked with all the jets. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE RIP YOU OFF!
