I am trying to like these people as they install our inground pool, but they seem to want every step of the way to be a surprise and half finished. Communication would have gone a long, long way but they completely and utterly lacked in informing us of what to expect, when to expect it, and made clear attempts at excuses for things that could have been straightforward communication and I would have understood. The subcontractors they used were very nice and seemed to do a decent job. My impression is that Goodall failed at project planning to complete the job efficiently, and communication was at best reactive to our constant probes of questions to figure out what was going to go on at our home with this large project. It made it very difficult to plan our own parts of the project (ie landscaping, etc) and wasted a lot (a couple thousand dollars) of our money with wasted materials and I can't even tell you how much of our time has been wasted that could have been prevented if they provided a clear plan, design, and information. I will update this review when we're all said and done to hopefully a better rating with full details.

They give quality recommendations. A story to prove my point...About a month ago I decided to stop in the new Leslie's pool supply that opened up in our town. I had the water tested and the guy sold me every item that the report told him to. I left spending almost $75. Out of curiosity, I took the same water sample over to Carlton. Wellllll, they told me to just put in a certain chemical which thankfully I already had at home so I didn't need to buy anything. I went home, did what Carlton told me to do and my water was fine. I swiftly returned to Leslie's to return all the chemicals they told me I needed. I will never make the mistake of going to Leslie's again for chemicals. Carlton doesn't just sell you every chemical. They know the water business well enough that they recommend the most important things to make your water clear again.

Our pool was sold to us with the assurance they'd help us with the aspects of installation and it was not. The first day the pool went up, the liner ripped. 17,000 gallons of water and all the materials such as sand GONE. Slowest customer service; got a liner delivered several days later. Pool is STILL not fixed more than two weeks later and they will not return calls. I wish someone had warned me- please go ANYWHERE else.
