I recently had an above ground pool installed. Everything was going as planned- up to the day of install- the morning of the install was very hectic- to say the least- with the men and equipment in the yard- and I asked for the excavated dirt and grass be placed in a long row along the yard to help me with spreading it later- which didn't happen- instead I had a mountain of dirt in the yard- but I also had a large slab of concrete that needed to be picked up in order to place the pool in the designated spot. The slab was there in the middle of the yard and when I asked "Mike" (the crew boss) about this, he told me I would need to get something to break it up and get it taken out of the yard. I asked for him to please put it next to the pole in order to place the pump on instead of the pavers. He did do that and he left, along with him, leaving, the majority of the men left, leaving 2 men to install the pool throughout the day. At the end of the day I asked, "who was I to give the remaining check to,?"and the one man said "give it to me, and the amount owed was increased by $100. ". At that time I said " no the contract stated X number of dollars " and asked what the extra charge was for? I was told the extra was for the moving the concrete. While I definitely had appreciated moving that concrete, nothing was discussed at all about an additional charge and if there indeed was a charge, how much it would be. I have never had any organization where I have signed a contract just add an additional $100 just because they moved something without consulting me as to the cost . At that time the man who was still on site collecting the check said well I need to contact Eagle Pool and let them know that you're not going to pay. I have no problem with that -I indeed did pay what was listed on the contract and he was on the phone speaking to Mike, the "boss" who was driving the Kabuta excavator, and Insinuating that I refused to pay. When he was talking on the phone he stated, "and that's what you get for being Mr. Nice Guy". Very disrespectful at this point- and I went into my house. The pool looks nice- the guys worked very diligently to put it up in a day- but I would not recommend this company because of the added cost that wasn't even mentioned when discussing the move of the slab. I didn't pay the extra cost- but can only imagine if they tried this with me, and was this because I am a woman- that they do this with other customers and how many people do just pay them? read more

I called Eagle pool and spa this spring to inquire how far out their installation dates were. I was thrilled to hear that they were doing installations in June of 2022. My husband and I rushed to the store and made a deposit. In June we were pleasantly surprised to hear that the pool arrived. We arranged our site inspections, electricians, and permits. Imagine my surprise when I called a few weeks later to find out about status to be told the pool has NOT arrived. (Did they give to a different customer?) We then were told a new delivery and install date, that did not happen. Today July 5 we again were supposed to have the pool delivered to our house, SURPRISE maybe next week because the pool is there but the excavator is behind schedule. These practices and communication so far have been misleading and down right unethical. It is wrong to lure clients in with the promise of quick results and then push off their delivery/install for various excuses. Unacceptable. We should be reimbursed. read more

For the most part this business is OK. However I have 2 issues 1. They require you to wear a mask. When I ask why they said that a few of their employees were not vaccinated and they wanted to protect them. Well if they choose not to be vaccinated why should the customers be made uncomfortable. 2. There is a rather heavy set woman that works there that quite frankly a little a little obnoxious. She also wears a black lives matter mask. Personally this business should keep politics out of their business. I will not return until both of these are corrected. read more

This place is horrible. Add 6 months to whatever date they quote you to install the pool. The owner is a guy named John that promises what you want to hear but don't believe him. Have your checkbook ready every time he comes to "check up on the installation". You need to double check every bill before you pay because his lady in the office that prepares the bills overcharges. Their workers will totally trash your lawn and it will take years to grow back because they don't remove all the gravel they dump all over. Nightmare! Many misconceptions and word games happened when hiring this company. The owner of this company represents himself as a "salesman". When he first meets he is very kind, knowledgeable and makes many verbal promises. First tip, make sure everything he says is in writing! The salesman in reality is the project manager and Eagles pool owner John Kleba. His behavior toward the home owner changed once the contract was signed. Problems began as soon as we hired John's recommended "engineer" Tracey to design the pool for the township approval. The person was not an "engineer", does not work at the address he has on his documentation, never once came to our home to measure or see our property and produced a design that was not to scale or appropriately represented our property. John justified this behavior and verbal assured us repeatedly that "I will take care of it", "it's ok", etc. The ESP Owner continually promised delivery early in summer (first week of July). Then without warning gave a start date that was weeks later, as if it was the agreed upon date!? When asked about discrepancies John made repeated excuses to stall installation including rain when it had rained one or two days yet delayed us weeks to months. These verbal promises and contradictions were consistent throughout the project once they began. Once installation began so did the rain season and the pool was again delayed. Had they ran on prior promised schedule the pool would have already been installed before the rain spell began. The Pool was installed and swim-able the last week of summer vacation. John used many word games to lead Us to believe things that he did not deliver. Upon installation, John destroyed landscaping with out asking owner, disregarded established plans for pool delivery (entering the opposite side of the home and far exceeding 10feet from the pool area) again all of this against owners approval. In the midst of destroying more property than was necessary to install the pool John verbally assured Us and his concerned installation contractors that he would "take care of it" and "restore it to the original condition". As measurements for digging began, he began to place the pool in a different location than was agreed. We asked to correctly measure and place the pool where we hired them to place pool. John became annoyed & sarcastic toward owners. He used behaviors like smirking and eye rolling behind owners back (implying owner was at fault for delaying digging to assure proper measurements) in the direction of contractors, who were waiting to begin. These contractors knew nothing about prior poor measurements or the ESP owner made many verbal promises to correct the situation on the morning of installation. Through out the installation process John would unexpectedly ask for payment in the yard. When We checked numbers or asked to mail payment that evening, The EPS salesman and project manager would raise his voice, speak sarcastically and make implications that he would not get paid. There was no cause for this behavior and multiple times the amount of money he was asking for was incorrect. One time he was asking for money stating the pool had been "installed" yet the pool wasn't in the ground, there was no cement or electric installed or scheduled. John became angry raising his voice in a hostile tone. Pool equipment was placed in a different place that home owners expected and without approval. This was done at the direction of The ESP owner because he liked it better. John verbally assured the home owner that although he placed it in a different location the home owner would be able to plant shrubs to hide the equipment. At time of slide installation which John measured and assured would land at a specific point. John was contacted that the slide was being installed multiple feet from the agreed location. The home owner was again received with hostility for expecting what was promised. Upon review of the pool equipment we discover that control panels are installed on both side of the equipment rather than in a logical user friendly manor that would allow ease of use (all on the same side). John agreed with the Us that the location of the equipment was placed too close to the pool to plant any shrubs as was verbally promised. When asked to relocate the pool equipment to a place where we initially agreed or at least move it back a few feet so shrubs could be planted, he refused saying "I'm done", "honestly you bother me" and "no I am not moving it". He gave no reason for placing control panels on three sides of equipment. As with the misplacement of the pool equipment the ESP owner has refused to repair any unexpected damages to the yard or place slide and pool equipment where it was planned per his recommended "engineer" to be installed. Or to place either in a location or condition which he verbally agreed when hired. read more

I'm very disappointed with this establishment. I purchased a 10,000 dollar hot tub over 10 years ago. I have faithfully purchased a new cover and all spa supplies over the years. This past week our heater board failed and my husband left not one but 3 voicemail messages to get a technician out to your home to diagnose the issue. We didn't receive a call back at all. We then called Aqua Docs (never used them before) and they had a technician come out the very next day to diagnose that it was in fact the heater board. The part was replaced within two days. I will never purchase another item or use this company again. read more

I had a small issue with buying an item with one of the cashiers, which I was told they didn't have it, but I knew they did, so I asked for her to look again because I had to have the part. Had an above ground pool installed beginning of summer, was nothing but a headache, pool looked great but had several issues afterwards with ladder installation, going on 3 weeks and we are still having issues with the ladder had to pay someone else to fix the work that wasnt done properly the first time, very disappointing when you have a pool that you cannot even get into safely. I recently purchased an above ground pool from Brian at the Eagle pool and spa store in Eagleville. From start to finish everyone that I dealt with...including the hardworking and knowledgeable installation guys as well as the scheduler and helpful young Ladies who work in the store...were a pleasure to work with...that's why I taking the time to write this review! The installation teams took the time to thoroughly explain how to operate the pump, etc and gave me a lot of helpful info about keeping the pool "chemistry" in check! As a result I'm looking forward to enjoying our beautiful new pool for many years, and we'll continue to go to the great team in the Eagle shop!! read more

We purchased an in-ground pool from Eagle Pool (Eagleville, PA) in 1996, for which we PAID MORE THAN THE QUOTED PRICE, but have had many problems and no help from Eagle. Below is a summary of our problem (see Appendix A for details): By the next year, among many other problems, we began noticing that the concrete deck and the side wall on the west side of the pool was sinking, and the west side wall had begun to bow out. We left over 20 messages for them and sent several emails, with NO RESPONSE! When they finally responded, it was "submit it to [our] homeowners insurance." The insurance company's response: "we don't cover builder error". If anyone in the Philadelphia area is considering building a pool, please call or e-mail us first for a reference; if you come out and take one look at our pool, see the poor quality construction, hear about the incredibly rude service, the overbilling, and the (lack of) response we've gotten from them, I can guarantee you will definitely NOT let Eagle build your pool. Since Eagle would never return our calls, our only resort at this point is to begin spreading the word through sources such as this. When we first posted this complaint on the internet, instead of calling us to help us correct the problem, their lawyer sent us a letter telling us to either remove the post, or they would sue us. So much for customer service. It is now so bad that we will probably have to have it filled in before we can sell our house! One contractor quoted $10,000 to fill it in! ============================================ Appendix A (Detailed log) ---------------------------------- Pool: 16x32 in-ground Imperial pool, Grecian style, vinyl lined. Estimated cost: $15,400. Final total cost: $17,700. OVERBILLED: $2,300. Installed: May 1996 By the next year, among many other problems, we began noticing that the concrete deck and the side wall on the west side of the pool was sinking, and the west side wall had begun to bow out. We left seven messages for them, to which they never responded. My wife finally managed to get the owner's direct number, spoke with him, and he said he would come out that fall to look at it. He never did. We called again summer of 2001, complaining that the pool backwash valve was leaking. We left 6 messages and finally got Bill Stahl to call. He sent a man out to fix the valve, and make an assessment of our problem. Don came out Aug 24 to fix the valve. He said he was going to recommend to the owner that the west side be dug up, including the side wall, and corrected. They never called back. We left 5 messages on their answering machine, sent e-mails, and, again, they never responded. We paid good money to have this pool installed, and cannot understand how they can continue to ignore us - this would only take a few thousand dollars for them to correct. They even charged us more than the quoted price to lay concrete under that west side wall, because they were concerned it was "not stable ground". Since we first posted this complaint, they threatened to sue us to remove this content. ============================================ Problems encountered during construction (summer 1996): - They dug up one of our trees and (when no one was home) stuck it back in the ground, but it died months later. Estimated value of tree $1,000 (12' Pink Dogwood). - They dug up one of our gutter drain pipes and (while no one was home) covered it back up. We noticed it after they left, when it rained and overflowed; I had to dig it up and replace it. Estimated cost of materials: $100; my time: $500. - They overcharged us; we had to give them an extra check near the end of construction to cover "unforeseen circumstances". Cost: $2,300. - Vinyl liner was not layed flat. They said it would "work itself out", but never did. - There are dips (some as large as 2" deep by 3" wide) in the soft material under the liner; when you walk in the shallow end, you can feel them. - The electrical box was placed so close to the fuse box that I almost can't open it. - The forms for the concrete patio were put down so poorly, that if they had poured it the next day, there would have been many irregularities. I pulled many of them up, and had them rebuild them. Problems after construction: - We noticed the concrete walk on the west side sinking slightly after about a year. - By the second year, we noticed that, not only was the concrete walk still sinking, but also the entire pool side wall (West wide) was sinking (about 2") and was bowed out (about 3"). - That west wall has now sunk so badly that we are not sure we could sell the home. I have never dealt with a guy more douche than him. He acted like he knows it all when i tried to explain. Very impatient and hung up on me in the middle of the conversation. Worst and only Experience ever! I purchased an above ground pool from Dave at Eagle Pool & Spa back in late June. It is now September 26, and about 3 weeks ago someone came and dumped a bunch of parts in boxes under my tree in back yard. Very little communication through out this waiting period. In their defense, it has been a very wet season, so I understand the delay to a point. What I dont understand is, that when they finally did s how up, I got no phone call or text. They just showed up. Guys seemed really nice though. But then called me later that day to ask me where he wanted me to dump the 6-7 truck loads of dirt they had to dig up, and then explained to me how my yard would be basically destroyed after the install. Oh, and by the way, $175.00 per truck load of dirt to remove. Oh! And an additional $495.00 for the extra inches they have to dig. What a surprise! So, here we are months into the purchase, never will get to swim in it this summer, and may not even get it at all now. I am so confused, and I wish I could get some feedback on what to expect. read more

You don't even get 1 star , honestly. WORST service I have had in a long time. Shocking, really. We just walked in to your store and spent about 20 minutes being basically completely ignored. The only acknowledgment we received was from a timid employee from the pool area, who told us she did not know anything about spas and that the other guy knew about them. Then she left us alone. We wandered around, got in and out of the model spas and were still ignored. We spent a decent amount of time actually lying in the floor model directly in front of the room that the spa salesperson was in. It is understandable that we would have to wait while another customer is being waited on, but we were not even acknowledged by said spa sales person! Completely your loss, we had a few easy questions, and were ready to purchase, today, with cash and no financing. Thank you for making us waste our time driving out to Eagleville in the rain, and thank you for forcing us to seek our spa from a more responsive and higher quality dealer. Rest assured we will both share this experience with everyone we know so that they can take their business anywhere else besides Eagle Pool & Spa. read more

Eagle installed my pool 11 years ago and returned this April to change the liner and level the frame. They found deterioration in the wall (on the same side that was sinking-can someone say installation.) I was told the wall would be in on May 18. It's the 28th and still no wall. I can't say my daughter is really loving her 15X30 sandbox. The customer service is terrible. Take your business elsewhere. read more
