We have used Tree of Life twice. The first time they did not cut up the trees as their estimate…read morehad included; they had to return the next day to do so. They informed us that they charge extra for cutting up the trees and that it was a lack of communication with their office woman and the estimator. The second time they came we paid $2,400 for an entire day of them taking down as many trees as possible; and an extra $500 for them to grind down the tree stumps; total $2,900. Tree of Life only took down three (3) trees in a 6 hour period. When taking down one of the trees they hit our mailbox twice. It fell to the ground each time and they pushed it back up. It was a brand new mailbox which we just had installed. It was scratched, banged up, and the numbers flew off. The upsetting part was that they did NOT inform us. We saw it on our video camera; pretty shady and NOT professional. When they came for payment I asked why they were leaving at 3:00 when they had more time to cut down more of our trees. He informed us that a full day includes their drive time to our house and back to their garage. We let them know we saw what they did to our mailbox and we deducted the damages from their bill. Needless to say, we will NOT be using them again.
