Stuff breaks quickly but for less-expensive items to be used a few times, they're okay ... until a friend bought me a tool for Xmas from them. She got me a Bauer dremel-knock off that I had opted not to buy. I wanted a Dremel for a while and saw the Bauer. I read all the reviews and decided it wasn't worth it. I kept looking at it but I couldn't convince myself to get it. Unfortunately, a friend got me one that included some accessories for the holidays. The accessories included a diamond blade (I wanted one to saw off about 20 screw tips). So, I used it with trepidation. It's a diamond blade so there was going to be a modicum of force behind it (as in - very little force). The tool is a total piece of junk (keeps cutting out and is way underpowered) and the company keeps saying to reviewers you can't use it on anything that requires force. I'm in my 70s and female so "force" isn't something I'm able to effectively use anymore :) ! I waited too long to use it when I found that out (it's tough going out in the cold and moving two heavy wooden screens to fix them). It's fine for sanding gorilla glue off eyeglass frames but more pressure than that and you're out of luck. I hate to put it in the trash because a friend got it for me but that's where it'll land. In the meantime, I'll look for a real Dremel and I quit going to H.F. Never again.

Last year we dropped off a 14" demo saw for a stripped armature bolt to be repaired. After 4 months of phone calls, the sw was still not repaired. The beginning of this year, one of our project managers went to see what was going on, and they handed him a box of parts and said it wasn't repairable. (The saw was fully functional when it was dropped off for a stripped bolt) I spoke with the manager at the time Mike and explained the situation to him, he was going ot see what happened to try to make things right. Fast forward to yesterday 5-12-26, I am back in town from a long project and checked in on the saw situation. Was told Millers was sold and Mike was no longer there, new Owner Ray came and spoke with me i explained everything and he said he would look into it, took my name and number. The stihl guy from the back told me it wasn't my saw that it was registered to some woman, and walked away never to return. Ray called me about an hour later, telling me my saw was not running when dropped off (so I'm lying) and that it isn't even my saw (am I a thief?) and they would not be repairing it or doing anything to make it right for me. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I have been a patron of this store for 15+ years with no issue, but the last 6+ months have been a disaster.
