Amazing service for our bbq grill it's coming assembled and free delivery. The patio umbrella selection and gift items are great. They have an extremely knowledgeable and courteous Staff! read more

I bought a Ego Snow blower and chose the free delivery and couldnt be happier. The guy who delivered was great, he walked it to my shed, patiently waited as I tried to make room. I changed my mind and decided to put it on my covered patio, and he walked it up and placed it there. (I bought an Ego mower from the Blue Bell location in March and had great customer service there as well and wrote a review for them, finally.) read more

This is a great place! Whether you're looking for a tool or assistance with a DIY project, this store embodies the charm of a family-owned business. I dislike going into large stores like Lowe's and Home Depot, where I often struggle to find staff to help me. At Ace, as soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted with exceptional customer service. The staff doesn't just point you in the right direction; they actually walk you to the item you need and show you how it works. They truly value their customers, and you feel more like family when you enter the store. read more

Should I say Welcome to our rotation? We cut down our Christmas tree today and tried to use our old stand. What a pain... After my wife and I decided we shouldn't kill the other person, I looked online for a new stand. I knew what I wanted, but never wanted to get it since our stand used to work... Amazon would have it here on Tuesday... No other stores have it around here... Oh, Ace has it. Not all of them, but then I told my wife we're going to Harleysville. Twenty minutes later after a quick trip on the turnpike, we arrived. Friendly staff everywhere. The first thing I noticed was how clean it looked. Not really used to hardware stores looking like this. I got what I needed and my wife bought an additional four things. While waiting for her, I believe I was speaking to the owner, Don. Very nice guy and I can tell that is why everyone else here was so pleasant and accommodating. It starts at the top. If that person demands people to act the way he does, being nice becomes contagious. Ace is in the rotation now, well not any Ace, this one... We'll come back in the spring to look at flowers and we'll stop back at various holidays to see the seasonal products. Oh and the price of what I bought was five dollars cheaper than Amazon... And I got it same day... I also don't have to pay a toll, but in this case, I wanted to get my tree up, the lights up, get some water on it, and sleep so we can decorate the entire house tomorrow. Thank you Ace, for making my wife a better person for the twenty minutes we were there. read more

My husband and I came here to buy a Christmas tree krinner. The old tree holder we've been using is all rusted and our tree wasn't staying up in it this year, it kept leaning back and almost falling over. So we rushed here to get here like an hour before they closed on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, because they are closed on Sundays. We made it in time and I had time to look at all the seasonal decor. It was a very nice store with a lot of decorations. I ended up buying a few twinkling starburst/snowflake lights. I was looking for these. My mom bought some at target but these looked better. I hung them on my front porch. The prices weren't bad either. Also picked up another set of bubble lights. The staff were very friendly as well. We tried to come back this Saturday to see if there was any discounted Xmas decorations left while we were in the area looking at Christmas lights. The yelp time wasn't right, yelp said they closed at 8:00. But on their website and on google it said 6:00. My husband's the one that told me it closed at 8. Next time I'll have to look myself , he never double checks anything. He probably lied to me on purpose because he doesn't want me to buy more Xmas decorations, haha. We'll have to try to make it back again another time soon. And I will definitely be back to check out other seasonal decor. read more

I wish this location was closer to our home it's a great store! It's an enormous store filled with everything you could need for indoor and outdoor living! The staff greets you and asks if you need help and the store itself is well stocked and clean! They are also an authorized retailer for Ego products and do repairs for the equipment which is how we found them! They also have a wonderful garden center as well! Highly recommend the Harleysville Ace! read more

This Ace Hardware is one of the best hardware stores I have been to. This store may seem small but it is filled with so many awesome products to look at, it feels like they literally have everything!! I'll never forget the time in 2016 when I had a (badly) clogged toilet and nothing was working. I came to Ace Hardware and got myself a large plunger, and it really helped to do the trick! (It was a different kind of plunger than the standard one, it was bigger and had more power). Thanks to Ace Hardware, the problem was quickly resolved! The staff is always helpful and friendly when I talk to them, the prices are fair as well. The parking lot can seem small and cramped if the store is busy, but the good news is if you don't feel like dealing with the crowded Main Street, then there's a back exit onto School Lane which isn't nearly as crowded!! Ace Hardware really is one of the best hardware stores around and if you are in need of anything remotely related to this kind of store, then Ace Hardware will surely have it. read more

I've been going here since 1991. Don is awesome. His dad terrific. There is no better hardware store anywhere in this county. They are absolutely the best. Don will get you anything he can, even if he can transport it in his car from another ace that may have just what you need. He remembers you like a friend. Period. And when it comes to price, I always thought all aces were the same price. This place has great prices, excellent selection of products from Flora, to decorative arts, to all kinds of bulk product. I'm here at least two times a week when it's not snowing out, and then I'm even there every other week when it is. Check out is super fast and efficient compared to any other hardware store. And you get five dollar discounts direct from Ace from the store more than others. Harleysville Ace is the place. read more

This has become my favorite Hardware store. I have always received great help. The Milwaukee collection is one of the best around, as well as the bird seed, and hardware dept. The house wares and seasonal carries a lot of interesting finds. read more

Without exception this is the hardware store to visit if you want quality merchandise, well organized and easily recognized inventory, and a clean well lighted environment. Most important, the service is exemplary. The staff here will go out of their way to be helpful no matter how small an item you may be seeking. And, if you are not sure what you will need, they will listen patiently to you before offering options to resolve your issue. These days, they are a breath of fresh air! read more

Shopped at this store for over 20 years and spent a whole lot of money. Even came here rather than going to walmart, well no more. Purchased 2 toilet seats, 1 had one missing paint on the back of the seat, which you could not see unless you took it out of the box. Went to return the product and was informed they don't take back open boxed toilet seats. The seat was defective and you had to open the box to see the defect. Did Ace Hardware care, no. Called to speak to a manager and was placed into their vm only to have no return call. Sent an email to corporate Ace, and haven't heard back from them either. Swell bunch of folks who accept your money freely only to not even show the human courtesy of returning a once loyal customers call. We're done. True Value or Wehrung's is just as convenience. read more

A great place to locate anything that a genuine hardware store has. I shopped there recently and received great help from employees. This store also sells and services Stihl outdoor power equipment, which is usually only sold by outdoor power equipment dealers. I've been to several hardware stores and this one has everything one could need. read more

I stop in at the local hardware store a few times a month, to get some supplies for work. I really appreciate the people here in the Harleysville Ace Hardware. They are always willing to help me and answer any questions i might have with plumbing, electric or as simple as paper or plastic! I am a green minded individual that likes to help save the environment, which this store is also trying to help with. I will always go above and beyond to help out the locals! I really prefer this store, but it's Sunday morning and I need a bunch of hardware to complete a project this morning. Lowe's opens at 9, ACE at 10:30 Lowe's will get my business today, not because they are better, but simply because they are open read more

This review is purely for propane. The last three times I've gone here they're not filling propane tanks to the maximum. Full price, but I seem to be getting half-full tanks. The last time I got two half full, and one full one. I didn't notice it until I got home and realized the weight difference. Once I noticed my heater was emptying tanks faster I started to track dates and times of tank swaps. The last few tanks emptied after only 2 days. This last full one I managed to get has been going for 4 days straight, and it's still going. That's too many failures, and I'm not even going to bother trying to get my money back. I'll go to Tractor Supply from here on out where they charge by the gallon for propane. Consider the rip-off a parting gift. read more

I don't even live near here anymore, but I go out of my way to come her because they go out of their way to accommodate all my needs. Shopping local is important to me, so whenever it is possible to avoid a large hardware chain store, I come here. This store is a black hole for me. I enter and lose hours of my time because I am just wandering, enjoying their products, dreaming up home projects and talking tot heir wonderful staff. Everyone is pleasant. The lady in their paint department took a lot of time helping me pick which products would be best for my project. She seemed happy to help and had tons of great information for me. I went into my project confident and prepared. Love this store. Hey, can I bring my dog next time? read more

I love ace hardware, especially this store! Staff are always friendly and answer questions and offer suggestions on projects.

Went to Ace to browse and buy a new smoker. The staff and manager was following all precautions to be safe during the pandemic. The smoker I wanted wasn't in stock but the manager and staff worked on other options and helped me to still make a selection that I was happy with. There was no pressure to buy a higher priced model and it was a friendly buying environment. The manager was so helpful that he even helped to load the smoker into my car! I will be shopping here again without a doubt! read more

I've been shopping at this store for more than 20 years. Nicest owners, and they have evolved this store into such a unique place to shop. Make sure you check out the gift sections. Always something new and interesting there to find! Selections at this location are simply amazing!!! Laura H. read more

This Ace Hardware is the best. The woman helping me at the key counter had to deal with a... difficult customer on the phone while helping me but a) was incredibly pleasant and helpful, b) gave phenomenal customer service to the person on the phone, and c) made sure I got the key coupon, all while one of the other staff kept assuring me that it wouldn't take too long (I explained that I used to work customer service and that she could take as long as she needed). Then I ran into I think one of the managers on my way out and he noticed my bumper was all busted. He offered to fix up my busted bumper with some zip ties and did a marvelous job. I felt like a valued customer despite this being my first visit and spending maybe $3. 100% Customer Satisfaction. Give them all raises. read more

Old Village Vintage Paints! All the supplies you need! Excellent service! Love this store and they'll even teach you how to do it!!!

This place rocks! It reminds me of the "Mom & Pop" type of hardware store that was in my small hometown growing up in NJ. The people here are extremely knowledgeable, willing to help you (not once did I have to track anyone down), and very friendly. I can't stand the two big box home improvement stores because they are sorely lacking in these areas, and they're just too "big". I have several upcoming home projects and I will be a frequent Ace customer. read more

Pros: Very friendly, helpful and available staff. Well stocked. Very close to homes in Harleysville area, convenient location. Easy returns. Cons: Hours of operation. Well stocked but smaller selection than big competitors like Lowes and Home Depot. Also, I often find that Ace's prices are a little higher than competitors. read more

I stop in a couple times a month and accumulate enough Ace points to get a $5 off coupon every couple of months. Nice to be able to have a smaller more intimate hardware shopping experience, in contrast to Lowes or Home Depot. The staff there has also been helpful with any questions I've had. The only minor problem I had was purchasing a couple pieces of sheet rock only to find out when I went out back to pick up they were out of the item. They immediately refunded my money, so not a big deal. And if you shop at any store enough you will eventually have a negative experience. read more

Not much more to add because I completely agree with the other reviewers. This is a great store with excellent service. We live in Lansdale and mostly go to Fisher's (also a great store but smaller) since it's less than a mile away from our house but we often go to Harleysville Ace if we're in the area or to get something Fisher's may not carry. Would definitely recommend. read more

I live in Harleysville, and frequent this store couple times a month. The staff makes it easy to get in and out with what I need. They have a counter in the hardware side of the store, and it always have a helpful person there. Whether it's plumbing, electrical, or finding the right screws, bolts, hinges or braces, they will walk you right over to that section and help you find it. I had an outdoor clamp on a railing that should have been bolted with stainless hardware. I slid the whole thing off and took it to Ace. Ken looked at it and suggested that he help me drill out the rusted bolt. After much struggling, he got it out, and ready to go back. Then he found the RIGHT bolt for the application. I think he knew how hard it would be, and didn't want to send me home to do it myself. That day, Ken was the embodiment of the Ace slogan read more

Great service and stock! Was the only place around to have several items I needed during the super snow storm we had this past winter

Staff is very helpful and store keeps good stock of popular items. Ace rewards card can be a slap in the face if you forget coupon. They will not deduct discounts from showing card or using phone number. This is probably an Ace corporate thing. I think this location is one of the few Ace Hardware stores that is successful in the Phila area. They are a dying breed. Their success comes from their loyal customers like myself. Be prepared to pay more than other stores. read more
