I was in the N Everett area to meet soneone and thought about I searched a bakery not long ago nearby on Yelp. So searched again to make sure the right bakery and had the GSP lead me. I picked Bear Claw, cherry cream strip and blueberry cream strip. Some of the other cakes or bread look so much sugar or butter to me. The butter horn looks so good but I think I better chose something else since I saw it's filled with all those butter. Didn't have lunch today and it's tea time when I got home. Just cut out a small piece of each one and enjoy with peach milk tea. They all taste so good! Will like to recommend to my friends. read more

Best donuts in Everett! Buttermilk bars are a favorite of mine, and they make a really good one. The hubs and I love their cake donuts. They have different flavors sometimes (like heath bar) and always have the red velvet. If you go there after 3, donuts are buy 1 get 1 free. The chocolate old fashioned donut is really good too, but a little too sweet for my taste. The mocha cake is light and flavorful. The ube cake is good, but the ube cheesecake is better! I will definitely be trying other things on the menu, but I'll always have to get a buttermilk bar when I'm there! read more

This bakery has some good items like their cannolis, but in my opinion the donuts and cupcakes need work. Today I got 3 different raised donuts and to me they had an odd taste. My daughter agreed with me. Almost slightly burnt or like the oil was bad or needed to be changed or the fryer cleaned. I have had a couple good donuts, but this is probably the 3rd time they tasted off. Another time I got a cupcake and the peanut butter frosting tasted odd too like a slight cigarette flavor. I'm giving them 3 stars though for creativity and variety, they have some unique flavors and the cannolis are not traditional, but they're delicious. It will probably be awhile though before I am brave enough to try another donut. I will probably try the cookies, cheesecake or give the cupcakes another shot next time. read more

I also have never liked maple bars but guys, I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT DESPI DELITE'S DONUTS!!! Especially their maple bars! Somehow every pastry, cookie, & cake have the most perfect texture you have ever experienced. You didn't know your donuts were missing the texture until you have these donuts. Stopped by this week to pick up some pastries...although my boyfriend is a huge fan of their untraditional cannoli, I fell in love with their hopaki. It is well decorated and clean inside! Not what you'd expect considering it's location in Everett. The young lady that helped us was extremely patient, considering the fact that we couldn't decide which items to choose. First time stopping as daughter had seen delicious doughnuts at a work staff meeting. Clean and friendly shop. Late in the day so all the doughnuts were gone. Here's what we tried: Canoli - small, no chocolate chips on the end like traditional - just ok. Apple Turnover - very nearly burnt on the bottom. Fine if you can get past the very carmelized bottom. A few seconds later and they would really have been burnt. Ube cheesecake slice - bottom of this was burnt and inedible. Oreo cheesecake slice - cheesecake texture and flavor is not traditional. Very whipped and not to my liking. Flan - Yuck. So overcooked no creaminess left. One bite and went in the trash. Would probably stop by again earlier in the day to try the doughnuts but someone really needs to check the oven temps when they're baking...... read more

I have tried bakeries in Europe and all throughout the united states. This is simply the best! The donuts, the pastries, the variety....it is such a wonderful place. Tried some sweet and some savory treats. They were excellent! I had the ube cake, and it was as good as everyone on Yelp said it was. Not much more needs to be said about the ube cake. :) My mom tried a few things as well; she had the ube cheesecake, and absolutely loved it. For savory, I tried the pork siopao. I was a little nervous about trying another Asian steamed bun, since I've had them before and the outside was an unappealing chewy texture. But this one was very good. The bun was soft and the pork filling was delicious. I will try the chicken siopao next time. My mom and I both tried the chicken empanada. Neither of us were very fond of it. Don't get me wrong, we both enjoy sweet and savory combos. And this definitely was: a tasty savory chicken filling inside a tasty sweet (almost like a shortbread cookie crust) outside. It would have been perfect if there had just been more filling. Without much savory filling, all you can taste is sweet, and it was like having another dessert. Probably won't get that again. I look forward to going back and trying so many more items! The donuts look amazing, as does the egg tart, but I definitely have my eye on that chocolate cake. read more

Very friendly and welcoming staff. I had lots of questions and they answered them without making me feel stupid or like I was being a problem. We tried all kinds of things. The buttermilk doughnut is amazing. The other doughnuts are good too but that one was my favorite. We tried the little pork pastries and the bean pastries. They were pretty good but not at all what I had expected. Very little pork in the pork ones, but they had good flavor. The croissants aren't really croissants. They're more like crescent rolls. Once you get past expecting them to be croissants, they're very good. We had other things too, lots of bread items that all tasted about the same, a fruit pastry, some things I'm sure I'm forgetting. There was nothing that I wouldn't rate at least very good. The prices were very reasonable and they had some cakes in the display case for those last minute needs. They were beautiful! We went in the afternoon on a Tuesday and they were sold out of a lot of things, I can't imagine how hard it would be to choose things if the cases were full! We still had a lot to choose from. We'd go again. Too bad they're not closer to our house. Or maybe that's a good thing! read more

Fire donuts . If you're looking for gourmet, non-traditional donuts this is the place to go. The raised donut bread is exceptionally fluffy, the toppings, fillings, and glazes are done to perfection. Must try's are the Nutella filled, PB&J, and the cronut. So good. read more

We were very disappointed in the donuts and cakes. We ordered the Ube cheesecake and it tasted NOTHING like ube. It feels like they threw purple food coloring into the cheesecake batter and marketed it as ube. The Mocha cake was also bland. The donuts were very greasy. We had one bite of everything we got and it went straight to the garbage. The only upside to this place is the attentive customer service and the fair prices. read more

I pass by every day on my way home from work and I knew I just had to stop in. We finally did on Saturday and so happy we did! First of all the choices of baked goods is amazing from fresh specialty breads to cookies and gourmet ! We ordered a custom cake for our baby shower next month and despite the long lines and crowds they all took time to listen and meet with us and talk about what we want. Lovelovelove this bakery! Everyone that works here is so friendly and attentive. I like to buy the pork hopia here. Really tasty and not as flakey. Their ube cake, cheesecake, donut, etc are my usual go to's along with the mocha cake. Their donuts are great too! Only thing is that I wish that their Spanish bread had more filling. It's almost always dry and the usual sweet filling that Spanish bread does have is non existent. Pandesal here is great as well! Tried their empanada & siopao and it was good too! Parking can get a little tricky if it's full but other than that, it's an awesome bakery! read more

I have only been here twice but it is so nice to have a bakery in the neighborhood and a good one at that! We have tried the crounut, maple bar, ube bread, cookies and the chocolate chip banana bread. The crounut is so buttery but amazing. Not something would order all the time though. The maple bar is hands down the best one I have had. So good. Banana bread is also amazing. Ube bread, not for me. It's not a taste issue, it's a texture thing. I had never tried it before so I really don't have anything to compare it to. Service has always been good when I have gone in. read more

So happy to have found this bakery! We stopped by after an early morning shopping trip as I promised my daughter a doughnut. As we walked in, I was just expecting your usual selection, but we were both wowed by the great variety of treats they had! My daughter had a hard time picking just one because there were so many yummy flavors (shoot, I don't blame her, I wanted to get everything too!). She finally settled for the red velvet doughnut with cream cheese frosting, she also picked the s'mores doughnut and maple bar (they were huge!) for her sisters, and I picked up the ube cinnamon roll. All were amazingly delicious! My daughter couldn't help herself and dug into the box before we could even leave out the front door. Growing up I'm Seattle I've always been a fan of their Ube Macapuno Cake. However, the ube bread is a huge disappointment! In fact it's deceiving - there's absolutely no ube in it. It's nothing, but a huge part of doughy purple colored bread. You can smell the yeast! Not even any ube flavoring. Waste of money. The donuts presentation were sloppy. The hopia is really good though. Will stick to Valerio's ube bread. read more
