Chicken tikka masala

First visit. Food is generally flavorful. Chicken 65 biryani, veg samosas and naan were really good. Chicken Tikka Masala was typical, tasty but not the best ive had. The indo Chinese noodles were the least of our favorites as we get these elsewhere and these paled in comparison. They are saucier than we are used to, they use spaghetti noodles rather than angel hair which made them a bit thick. Sauce was tomatoey and chicken had a coating to it. Not bad just not what we are used to.. " Mom and pop " run so the service is as you would expect for that type restaurant. The interior is plain so not any ambiance really. Good spot for take out/to go, I'd say.

The food was really good. I went with my family and the food was delicious. The naan was so addicting! We received complimentary dessert too, was a warm rice pudding type dessert! Very tasty with nuts and other things.

Desi Kitchen is a little hidden gem in a shopping strip, but the staff deliver on quality and service. The restaurant may be small, but the dining and decor gives off a comfortable atmosphere. The staff of Desi Kitchen are kind, attentive and patient. The prices are decent and I can tell that the staff here love their work. There's a big TV inside that plays music videos of Indian musical artists or videos beautiful scenery of India, it's quite relaxing. Desi Kitchen was where I tried Indian cuisine for the first time. You can pick the spice level for your dish too. I loved their samosas, Tikka Masala and Gulab Jamun. I can tell that the chefs take great pride on their cooking. They only use fresh, real ingredients. Never frozen, instant or reheated. I'd recommend Desi Kitchen to everyone I know.

Butter Chicken Curry Garlic Naan

Paid $25 for Butter chicken and Garlic Naan. Portions were very small. Only had 4 little chicken chunks in the cup. Naan bread was soggy and seemed old. The rice was very good! Food didn't sit well after and ended up being sick.

The best Indian food I've had to date! I got the butter paneer and it was enough to eat for two meals. The perfect spicy balance.

This is not authentic Indian food. I would compare the quality to McDonalds. If you are looking for real Indian go elsewhere.

Drinks: my gf had an old fashioned, my friend and I got the petal punch and a fourth friend got a European beer I think and we all enjoyed our drinks. My friend and I agreed that the petal punch was the best cocktail we had both ever had. The lychee and mint is just PERF! Food: we tried as much as we could. The momos was yummy and came with a great sauce. The tandoori chicken drumsticks with the sauce, YUM. I knew it was going to be great. The veggie samosas were also wonderful. The mint chutney is my preference over the tamarind, but both were good. Chicken mungfali- 10/10 but wish it were a little spicier. Chicken korma- spicier than I thought but delicious 10/10. The Nutella samosas were the only thing that was disappointing. They were way crunchier than we expected. The picture of them made it look softer and flakier than it was. Especially with the price point of $16- was not worth it. Service: our server, Magic, was great to us and showed us all his faves. Inside: very lovey inside and very clean. Can't wait to come back again! I heard they have a lunch buffet but didn't see it on the menu. I need to do some research on that!

A group of us one for dinner and we tried several different dinners and shared them amongst us. We were seated quickly and they accommodate our group of 10 easily, we placed our order in the food, came out, reasonably quickly. The main course started with a salad, and we ordered both garlic and buttered nan. Our main courses included mahkani chicken, vindaloo, fish, chicken biryani, spinach paneer, momo dumplings, and several orders of King of Texas platter. The flavors were wonderful, and when we ordered a few of us, ask them to dial up the spice, but be careful. The service was very good and attentive, and the restaurant was relatively quiet from noise. Some restaurants are just super noisy, and TAJ is not. The buffet was decent size with a combination of meats and veggies. The chicken was dry and overcooked. There was a tray for goat, that had nothing but bones. The plates were staking up at our table and the water wasn't refilled. Which is pretty bad because it was our family and another group of three people in the entire place. Very disappointing experience

The service is absolutely incredible and accommodating with such a lovely atmosphere. I have dietary restrictions as I am vegan, and they made a wheat flatbread replacement for the naan for me. The family member who assisted us was attentive and wonderful conversation. They are incredibly transparent on their food process and ensuring people with allergies and restrictions are able to eat their food. The food is fresh and you can taste it. I got the bindi masala at medium heat and it is my favorite I've gotten by far. The okra and onions are cooked perfectly to create a satisfyingly delectable flavor with a savory building up heat. The vegetable samosas are also my favorite in the area! They create an in-house sauce of brown sugar with spices, and it is my absolute favorite sauce I've had with samosas. It's better than chutney or tomato sauce. The sweetness and spices are perfect with the savory flavor of the samosas. The aromas of the varieties of spices light up the atmosphere.

We ordered the butter paneer and the chicken kadai, both served with basmati rice and naan. The paneer sauce was mildly sweet and spicy, and the paneer itself had a great texture. The chicken kadai was very flavorful with lots of spices and aromatics, and the rice and naan were both good. My husband also had a mango lassi, which was silky and delicious. Prices are affordable, and it's a great option if you're sharing with family. Overall, a very good experience.
