I have a regular salon that I tend to go to and I wanted to try somewhere new that had a lot of positive reviews! This salon was just fine from my experience. My nail technicians were very talented and did a nice job but I was just put off by how distracted a lot of the people working there were. This might be just because I've never been here before and that's how things run but I was extremely put off by it. Not to mention, I wanted my manicure and pedicure to match in color but they did not have a color that could do that for both so I had to walk out with different colors on my feet and hands. I made an appointment online for my services and from what the website told me it would be $58 for an acrylic set and a pedicure but my total was $90 including tip! Update: the owner of this salon did reach out to me and asked for further clarification. He showed that the salon cares about what customers think and that they want to ensure they exceed expectations. It meant a lot that he personally reached out and wanted to fix the problem and I think that's great of a new business to be doing! So, if you go here- you're likely to have gorgeous nails when you leave and if something does go sideways they are quick to want to fix it! read more

I would not recommend. I've been 3 times this last year, trying to give the a fair chance. The first time, my gel manicure lifted off of my nails within a couple of days. The next, the manicurist did not know how to round my nail, and two other nail techs had to step in. This last time, there was a 20 minute wait when I made an appointment. Okay, it happens. But, my regular (no gel) manicure looks like trash. The polish was coated in too thick, and the polish looks like a mess just one day later. Overall, this place is a disappointment. Just found this place today and so happy I did. Called ahead for an Appt just to be safe and they scheduled me within the hour. Spacious and great design. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Very clean. Due to covid, all staff is wearing a mask and they give you a nail kit for $5 that you keep and use on future visits so you are assured no one else is using the same buffer/nail file. Loved the layout and style. Feels a bit glam- perfect for a little pampering. I'm embarrassed I forgot my nail tech's name but she was really sweet and did a great job on my pedi. We enjoyed our pedicures, and our toes look nice. I had the detox pedicure and the scrub smelled amazing. I was disappointed to see the lotion they were using was from bath & body works, I would think for $37 they could use a nicer brand. But it got the job done. My friend and her mom had the moisturizing pedicure and they enjoyed it. Her mom would have liked her nails trimmed and filed more but it was ok. The massage was also very light. The nail salon is very pretty. You walk in and you are so relaxed, they also were all wearing masks and had disposable masks for us. It was very clean, and I felt very safe, even with all the COVID stuff going on. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Thank you for the much needed relaxation. read more

From the moment I walked in I was 100 % happy. Professional, classy, posh, relaxing music, and excellent excellent treatment and workmanship. This is definitely where I am staying. I lucked out... well I had put in the work researching which salon to go to as I was new to the area, this one felt like so many great reviews I had a hunch to try it... booking was easy online but there's some confusion with the wording (like to me dip full set mani & pedi means that - but the checkin guy was a little flustered when I said dip mani & pedi - so they need to work on the booking list... but other than that, perfect. I had Kathy for pedi and Stacey for mani and wow, the best ever - in every way! The space is gorgeous high ceilings and spacious, there's great nail quotes stenciled on a feature wall which is entertaining, the staff all seem happy and super nice, actually felt connection. Nails look incredible and I have super high standards! I also asked for some metallic enhancements a mixture of tips and whole nails. This was my first time at Desert Nail and Spa. I made an appointment and came in to get a full set. The salon seems very upscale and clean, but now that I have experienced my first visit, I can say that isn't the case. My first issue was when my nail tech took out her disposable latex gloves, which I appreciated because I'm a bit of a germaphobe. But, after a closer look, they seemed that they had been used several times. There were some small hole in the gloves and they seemed to be stained across the palms. It made me a little grossed out. BUT of course I didn't know this for a fact, it was just an observation of mine. Second, my nail tech used a drill on my cuticles to push them back, this was extremely painful and I tried to tell her but she kept doing it. My cuticles are very torn up now and sore. Third, the application of the powder was extremely uneven across many of my nails. While I was finishing up and paying, my right index finger was very uneven and looked terrible, but upon looking closer at my nails when I got home, I realized that several of my nails are uneven and look bad. The manager (at least I think he was the manager) even saw for himself and offered for me to come back and get them done again, as I couldn't spend anymore time there as I had already spent almost 2 hours there. I appreciated that the manager was trying to correct the situation, which is the only reason I didn't give my review 1 star. But, after all of that, and with the girl at the front desk and the manager knowing I was unhappy with my nails, I was charged $53 for my nails, and then asked "do you have cash for the tip?" I'm big on tipping when I'm happy with the services that I'm paying for, but to feel like I was being forced to tip for a service that I had expressed that I was unhappy with, was very uncomfortable and quite irritating. Still debating if I will go back to get them corrected or if I spend even more money to correct these nails elsewhere. read more

I have had Becca do my nails now for 2 1/2 months and Her work is amazing! However, it's not just her work; it's her experience and knowledge. She clearly has years of experience. On my very first appointment she pointed out and identified an issue with a fingernail that potentially could have resulted in me losing the nail had she not identified the issue and prescribed a course of action. My nails now are GORGEOUS and healthy. On a scale of 5 stars, Becca gets 10! Beautiful work, beautiful personality and always a wonderful experience!!! read more
