EDIT: I called and mentioned this, and they foxed it right away, no questions asked. Amazing customer service. Will be coming back from now on. Alright, I hate to have to do this but I'm actually so disappointed. After not having my toes done for MONTHS given this quarantine, I was excited to finally get something done about my feet. I paid extra for the callous removal pedi as my feet weren't in great shape. She took her time with the first foot, and it looks great, but literally took less than a minute with the second. I figured she knew what she was doing and one foot must have just been worse than the other. I got home and looked- the first looked great. The other? Completely terrible. Like I never went in. I know callous removal is hard, but I feel like if more than 30 seconds were spent on my foot, i would have left feeling a lot more satisfied. read more

I stopped here after seeing a 30% off ad on Facebook and the experience was great, however, my nail tech made 5 of my fingers bleed near the cuticle bed the color selection is vast and my nail technician took her time (over an hour) which is appreciated! They provided a mimosa upon my tech asking the owner to get me one and there was complimentary cucumber water and candies. My nail tech was very friendly although my cuticle beds suffered...I will be back for a pedicure as I ran out of time. Update: the owner reached out to me and offered me another free dipping. He also apologized for the nail tech which was nice I went back today after work and the nail tech I had was very detailed and took her time. My cuticles are feeling good I got an ombré French dip this time so I only paid the difference from a regular dip manicure. I appreciate them reaching out and offering another chance! This place is amazing!! I fell in love with their other location last year and am so happy they opened a new location closer to my house. The place is spotless, everyone is super nice, and their scheduling is really organized. Today I had Phear and she was extremely kind, detailed, and did a great job. I always have an excellent experience here. I don't come regularly enough to have a favorite person, but I have also never encountered a nail tech that didn't go above and beyond. The prices are reasonable and the work performed is always amazing. Specially for pedicures. They always take their time and ensure there are no oddities. During covid - they can be busy so appointments are a good idea. Heads up: they give you a pumice and nail file for $5 that if you bring back you don't have to pay for again. I love my nail tech and the prices are competitive...especially if you pay cash. it's always clean and booking is wildly convenient online. I've been going for a long time at least monthly and the only issue I have is with the front desk young girls. They are ALWAYS slumped over mindlessly scrolling social media. They also sit up there and eat and chew gum. Occasionally they are doing homework, which I'm not wildly, opposed to, but they almost act like you're a major inconvenience when they have to actually interact with you to take your payment. One did smile once after I paid. I love this salon aside from that and I think the whole experience would be so much better if something at the front desk were to change. read more

Still really enjoy coming here, however, I've been an essentially bi weekly customer for several years now and was a bit disappointed last week. I went on for a gel pedicure and dip manicure. I specifically asked if they had the color I picked for my toes in dip. The woman assured me that they did so I went ahead with that color. When they went to get the dip for my nails they told me they didn't have it so I could either do gel on my nails or a different color. Obviously I wanted them to match hence why I asked in the first place. I agreed to just do gel and then was told my hand tech it would be a 10$ additional charge to remove my dip and do gel even tho she had to remove my dip regardless. I pushed back a couple times because I didn't really want to switch to gel but I had no choice and then to be charged was a little crazy. Both gentleman working at the front desk overheard this for sure and said/did nothing. I paid the 10$ but still frustrating given the scenario and how loyal of a customer I have been to these folks. I will still be coming in and my nails always look great but the customer service this day was lacking. read more

My rating is a 1star because these people have ruined my nails taking off my dip. They went past my nail bed when taking dip product off so much that my nails are now weak, frail and bumpy. What's even more shocking is I called them to let them know to make things right and they wouldn't provide me a refund even after they acknowledged they went too far. I did not experience any positive customer service and feel they lack sensitivity to customers. I would not recommend this business if you are looking for quality service and or an end product. I used to be a manicurist years ago and normally do my own feet but decided to treat myself and a friend for her birthday. after looking closer I realize that my cuticles were not pushed back or trimmed, this is basic pedicure 101. I came in with gel acrylics and wanted to get them removed for just a very simple SNS manicure and they were able to get me in within 5 minutes and where very good about soaking off all the acrylic before getting started. Desert Nails is a great place to get your nails done when you have the day to yourself, I had come in for a glitter ombré with a photo of my desire and asked my nail tech Lily to help pick out the color. She was more than helpful and glad to do so, she knew exactly how to get the look that I wanted and was certain to make sure that I liked whatever she was doing. Whether that was the shape of my nail, the length or the thickness, she always double checked with me. I was with my mother and we joked about a few things around Lily, and unlike other nail techs she often joined in on the joke. She was probably the best girl in there to get your nails done by, I highly recommend seeing her if you don't mind spending some time to have PERFECT nails! read more

UPDATE: I have further dropped the score because the owner had the audacity to let my husband know that we are not welcome in their nail salon ever again because once they issue a refund for a service they refuse to do service on that person again. First, I would never go back because it's clear you employ individuals who do not do the service they are hired to do but more importantly how tacky as a business owner that you punish a client over YOUR employees ineptitude. If I were a business owner, I would immediately offered a refund and to do the service for free again so as to earn a repeat customer and correct my employees poor work. Customer service is non existent at this business. Take your money elsewhere. Just walked out from my first visit with husband and it gets three stars because we were both happy with the results of our pedicures but I HATE my manicure. I had two different people, one for my pedicure and one for my manicure since my husband was only doing a pedicure they did both at the same time so he didn't have to wait. I am use to this as my old nail place in Dallas frequently does the same thing however, Ken who did my manicur was clearly unhappy about having to perform the service chair side and kept stopping because his arms were tired. He didn't even file and shape my nails and did a poor job of cuticle cleaning. This even after the lady doing my husband's pedicure said to just have him come fix the problems. Even after having him fix them my finger nails look terrible. I am very disappointed because now I have to go home and do my nails so they look nice for an upcoming interview. It is clear that Ken is accustom to being able to hide his poor work under nail polish but since I don't use nail polish on my finger nails, you can see clear as day the uneven shaping and filing. I should've refused to pay and definitely not left a 10% tip but we enjoyed our pedicures and I want to feel comfortable to come back for that service if I choose. It's my advice that if you get a manicure and only have your nails buffed or left naked that you avoid Ken as he performs sloppy work. I am very disappointed in this part of my experience and it was the most important since my hands will be visible in my interview. Kevin: you're welcome for the review. Stick with the basic mani and pedi either in combo or separately. Otherwise you're pointing to something on a menu that you pay extra for and don't get. I booked a mani pedi combo. Once on the chair I was given the menu and a chance to add on services. So, yep o needed extra exfoliation and callus removal. Didn't get it. My hands and feet are drier than when I went in. I even made it easy and requested no polish on my fingernails. They're chalky feeling and I just left the salon. Very disappointed. Went based on a friend's recommendation. Won't go back. read more

The salon it self looks very nicely decorated. I was seated in a spA pedicure chair, but it didn't seem to have a massaging function. My pedicure was very nice and she did spend a good amount of time on the massage. The reason for the three stars is because I was getting a gel manicure and the end result was not perfect. I will admit my cuticles were really bad and she trimmed them but I could still see rough edges at the end. I was also disappointed that the gel did not go all the way to the cuticle bed and was uneven on a couple of my fingers. It almost looks like it has already grown out. I really wanted to like this place. Their website and social media have a ton of really nice looking pictures of their work. The salon itself is really pretty. I had a 4pm appointment and I was able to get 10mins in earlier. However. The nail experience was not great. I got a full set with gel. It hurt/burned when she was sanding my nails down (i had dip previously). I didn't get to pick colors from somewhere. She asked if i liked reds (what i was wearing before). I told her i wanted to explore because I might want a neutral or pink. She brought back 4 colors to pick from. That's it. I was not 100% happy with the color but I thought it would be okay. Long story short, my nails are flat (I KNOW they will break soon), I didn't get to wash my hands, so I had a ton of dust on my hands when she added cuticle oil, and it was $58 not including tip. Website said $33. I can't imagine it costs $25 to remove my already half removed previous dip. But ok. Was it terrible? No. Am I happy with my nails? Meh. Will I go back? No, not at all. I honestly have no idea why this place has a high rating. It was dirty, the stations are practically on top of each other. My manicure took 20 minutes, which was actually good, because i couldn't wait to get out of there. My nails are different shapes and there was a 5 second hand massage. The worst part was I had to ask multiple times for clean instruments. The lady acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. She used dirty clippers with someone else's nails in them. I stopped her and asked for sanitized ones. The lady next to her said they stopped doing that when covid hit. But eventually, she pulled out a fresh set and continued the manicure. Not a good place for acrylics. My first nail broke 2 days after my appointment. They were kind enough to fix it, but I just had a second nail break after just a week and a half. It's not even worth going back to fix it at this point. This is not an old set only 4th fill and I get them short. I had to find a new nail salon after moving so I went here because it's close to my house. Since they have decent customer service and convenient online booking I might consider trying other services, but do not get acrylics here! read more
