The second day we were there the smoke detectors went off warn us that they needed batteries. I called the Bennington office and in less than an hour our problem was fixed! Best of all we had to leave early on our last day and I left my bank bag with over $500.00 cash in it beside the bed in the small dresser.When we go home and everything unpacked no money bag.I sent a text that next morning to the housecleaning crew and asked them to check and see if was there. I left them all my information and they called me and said it was there and they put it in the mail for me. I offered them $100.00 to buy some pizzas for the crew and they said they appreciated the offer but couldn't do that. My happiness is all they needed. Discovery Sunriver had a special with a 10% discount for tennis players. When I called and asked for this discount they were going to get back to me. I emailed 3 times and have not had a response This seems very unprofessional. Let alone false advertising This was the most expensive rental that I looked at compared to other agencies, but I thought for a few more dollars it would be special I'll let you be the judge. I will never use them again as there are plenty of very good rental agencies in Sunriver. I have been renting homes in Sunriver for about 20 years and have never been treated in such an unprofessional manner

The worst vacational rental property unit and agent I have ever used. I cannot recommend using this…read moreagency to any one! The manager of the property never left her desk or spoke to me on 4 visits to their office with my concerns or requests. The rental description failed to state the house backed up to an active railroad line with trains going through frequently including around 4am or the winding staircase to the upstairs bedrooms in the kitchen! According to the maid tip request the last cleaning was 3 months before our stay. Entering the rental, there were no coverings over a 36" sq. window, there was no gate around the outdoor hot tub which opened to the street, there was no heat to the up stairs bedrooms and bath, there was mold and exposed wires to light in shower, the pillows on bed were soiled and not enough pillow cases to cover the stains, the smell of pet urine from the soiled (stains brown covered the underside) rug in the laundry room could knock you on your butt, and the kitchen cabinets exterior was peeling off the doors...the manager offered a compensation after the 4th trip to the office which was puny. I asked that the front walk be shoveled after the snows and the put down blue salt to melt the snow which is toxic to dogs let alone burning their paws. The rentals around the unit, managed by another company were plowed and shoveled after each storm...not of interest to this manager. I offered to show the manager pictures of the problems with the unit but she did not respond or show interest. I'm physically disabled and would not have rented this unit if I had known about the train traffic, spiral staircase, lack of heat to the upstairs bedrooms and bath, or the managers lack of concern for the snow removal and ice accumulation on the car park. I would never rent from this agency again even though I visit Sun River frequently and plan a trip again in April.

Steve came out and met us in the back yard with a cute couple of pups, and our dog had such a good time playing that I think he thought it was the best vacation ever. I laughed so hard watching them play, I wished I had caught it on film because it was so funny. The house is an easy walk to Downtown Bend. It's off in a neighborhood, so you feel like you're getting a real feel for what it is like to live in the area. There were two bathrooms, one with a claw foot tub, and I had an excellent bath. The other bath had an amazing walk in shower. I fell in love with the creative, and thoughtful design of the spaces and Steve was generous with his time and showed me another space in the triplex. Such creative design, it was just fun to hang out in the house. Bend is surrounded by incredible natural beauty, so we went hiking every day. The hot tub at the end of the day was perfect. The kitchen is set up fully so, it would be easy to cook though we didn't since Bend is filled with great restaurants. Both Alex and Steve are great hosts. This place is amazing and I would highly recommend choosing to stay at one of the Enchanted Dwellings, I know we will be back on our next trip to Bend.

The agent was rude, condescending and lied about multiple things they said we did. For example, they accused us of having a dog on the premises, even after showing a receipt from a dog kennel 20 miles away! And gave the phone number of the kennel we used. Cascara is fraudulently making false accusations so they can scam people who rent a Sunriver house through them. BEWARE. We are reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!

It was pet friendly and they had left us a gift bag for our little pup with toys, treats an a tennis ball. The deck is completely fenced and there is a secure potty area next to it just outside the master bedrooms exit door which made it handy for our rambunctious puppy. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities and all the furniture was comfortable and in good condition. The master bed was incredibly comfortable and the master bath and shower were in excellent condition. The bike and walking path was just a few steps away and about a 20 minute walk right to Fort rock park, and left to Sharc. There was also a nice supply of board games, and plenty of cable connected TV's, just be sure to log in your own access to premium networks and make sure to log out when you leave. There is some free viewing available also. We will be back!!!

We rented our Bend home through Vacasa and it was a total dumpster fire time after time. Their…read morelazy staff failed to adequately clean after guests left with led to bad reviews. We also had multiple thefts of house hold furnishings, kids sporting equipment and kitchen items. When questioned Vacasa leaders said not our deal. The house was pet free but guests showed up with pets and left crap in the back yard. Again, not their deal and not follow up with the guests. Then we had a group of witches that rented the house and pissed in various places throughout the house and dripped hot wax during their freaky shit. The area manager called me and was upset and said he'd replace all the bedding and have the house cleaned. Unfortunately I had to pressure wash the compost deck for hours to remove all the wax and get things back to normal. Throughout the two years we used Vacasa as our short term rental management company and it was a constant shit-show. I even had to track the renters and the payment system because I was shorted payments and charged for replacement bedding I didn't need. We provided all towels and bedding but were charged for items that were fraudulently billed. We finally removed Vacasa and cut out the madness and dirt-bag who want to trash our property. Avoid Vacasa at all costs or you too will be sorry. This is all fact and not exaggeration unfortunately. Listen to me or learn the hard was.

The furniture is very nice, the bed was very comfortable, the electric fire place kept us warm through the night and we loved the rustic feel of the entire place. Even the bathroom is nicely updated and spacious with a great shower. The lodge sits in a nice neighborhood a little off the beaten path. Town is a quick drive away if you need to stock up on anything, find a restaurant, or stores. There is a small fridge available in the rooms. There is a common area with a hot tub and a grill that can be used but we didn't check out that area so I can't give it any rating with my review. The owners of the lodge also have the MotoFantasy business at this location if you'd like to rent a motorcycle to tour around on. We got a chance to look at some of the bikes, and chat with one of the owners, but didn't have time on our trip to rent a bike. Our only complaint was how loud the noise is from others staying in the lodge. It's not that the neighboring people are intentionally being loud. The lodge itself just has a very hollow sound throughout and isn't set up to soften the noise coming from other rooms. We could clearly hear others talking, phones beeping and ringing, TV, doors opening and closing, others showering, toilets flushing and just general walking and moving around. It made for a loud evening & morning. We left pretty early due to this. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the area. It's a very nice lodge and an awesome place to check out the motorcycles. Just bring some ear plugs for a good nights sleep.

I didn't catch her name but she was very friendly. She asked if we needed anything after doing a quick scan of our room and even went to see if she could find decaf coffee for us. Which speaking of coffee, its a real coffee pot with real coffee! Not just the pods. Some stir sticks would be nice. Our two good sized dogs had plenty of yard to run around (we made sure to clean up after them immediately each time). The room was clean and cute. We did move the furniture around to suite us better. The chair sits in front of the couch due to it being a small room. It still worked perfect for us. We sat on the couch and used the ottoman to play cards and dice while we watched a Halloween movie. The gas fireplace in the corner was a nice touch. It was a super cozy evening! There are two adjoining doors on either side of the room if you had friends or family in other rooms. The refer is a good size for drinks and snacks. The bathroom is big with a big walk in shower. Easily fit 2 of us. It did take me several minutes of messing with all the knobs to figure out the shower. The water pressure was just OK. The temperature knob was very touchy... quickly went from warm to hot. Check in and out was super simple. I sent a text to Gloria and she was quick to respond. I am giving 5 stars, even with the minor issues, because overall it was a great stay and we will be back for sure!

It was at the tail end of winter, with cold nights and wet days. Rooms have gas fireplaces, with outdoor seating and porches for warmer weather. Checkin was great in the main lodge. They had many friendly employees. There's a bar and restaurant here that I didn't have time to visit! The grounds have paved trails all over, with quick walks or bike rides to restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They have a free shuttle that can get you around to places quicker too! My room was gorgeous, with high ceilings, wood, and soft decor. The bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Worth the cost. Another place I really wanted to visit was the indoor heated pool area that looked amazing. Maybe next time! For the event we had catered amazing meals of local produce and meats, so many flavorful items. The event spaces all have a lodge feel to them as well, comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a few days if you're in the area.
