They had many friendly employees. There's a bar and restaurant here that I didn't have time to visit! The grounds have paved trails all over, with quick walks or bike rides to restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They have a free shuttle that can get you around to places quicker too! My room was gorgeous, with high ceilings, wood, and soft decor. The bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Worth the cost. Another place I really wanted to visit was the indoor heated pool area that looked amazing. Maybe next time! For the event we had catered amazing meals of local produce and meats, so many flavorful items. The event spaces all have a lodge feel to them as well, comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a few days if you're in the area.

They offered some other properties that had less beds, less rooms, or was way out of town with no AC. They will not provide a credit toward other bookings; so now my family is out tons of money because of their unethical practices. Who waits less than 2 weeks to cancel a reservation for a party of 11 and then offer homes with too many twin beds for 8 adults, less rooms, and a house just way out in the boondocks ?! There are so many other ways to book a property, stay away from these ones!

We stayed less than 12 Hours, We booked a 11 day vacation over the Christmas Holiday which was disappointing, They property was filthy, a very bad odor, missing Window Blinds, No locks on window had sticks in the bottom of the casements, the dishes and utensils unusable, The stove started smoking when we tried to make some tea, Missing light bulbs, couch filthy, no Internet or TV and mold in the windows, bathroom didn't look like it had ever been cleaned. These weren't just little things the place was uninhabitable. But the biggest betrayal came when their so called representative showed up 12 hours later, he refused to even enter different rooms of the property to address our concerns, He laughed when I turned on the stove and it started smoking, the only resolve he offered was a full refund which they reneged on 2 hours later, Go Figure Nobody in the right mind would rate this place above 1 Star, more like -10 . The second day we were there the smoke detectors went off warn us that they needed batteries. I called the Bennington office and in less than an hour our problem was fixed! Best of all we had to leave early on our last day and I left my bank bag with over $500.00 cash in it beside the bed in the small dresser.When we go home and everything unpacked no money bag.I sent a text that next morning to the housecleaning crew and asked them to check and see if was there. I left them all my information and they called me and said it was there and they put it in the mail for me. I offered them $100.00 to buy some pizzas for the crew and they said they appreciated the offer but couldn't do that. My happiness is all they needed. They have a great pool to play in (with 2 hot tubs), canoeing, kayaking, paddle boards, fishing, bikes, tennis courts, a workout room with plenty of equipment, shuffle board, a Wii in the lodge, a play ground area, trails galore, and of course, the par 3 with putting greens, and also 2 full size Par 5 holes off the back side of the Par 3.
