Only took me 20 years to come back and play on the monstrous Mt Bachelor. So good trails and the sun beats down on you... or the wind lol. Experienced riders stay far left or far right. Do: -check online to best price and book it for a discount - check the lift openings or closures on the website. -look up the weather especially the wind factor -pack a lunch (leave In car or rent locker) to avoid $30 +lunch -get cappuccino from anyone of the lodges. -SPF, lip balm -Hydrate + electrolytes -most importantly have fun

I came to the resort for a day of zip lining in honor of my friend who died that morning. The day was filled with subtle references to her, her chosen name was a reference to lions and stars... I was surprised to find that Bachelor's logo is a lion face inside the sun. I stared at it for a while, remembering her. A moment layer I turned to a little bucket with a children's book on it, it was called Happy Birthday Moon. I used to think of her as a moon spirit, so I knelt to open the first page. Inside the cover, someone had written "Elizabeth" as a dedication. That was her name as well. I smiled as I felt that she was with me. I started the 3 zip lines and it was a blast! I signed her name at the last drop with chalk. Right before my final zip line, the guide's little speaker system started playing the first Incubus song I ever heard, almost 30 years ago. It was my favorite band and one we bonded over. It was "Wish You Were Here" by Incubus. I had trouble holding back my tears as I plugged into the final cable. But I felt her with me on the way down. I'll miss you El.

Me. Second leg of the trip.

I'm heights phobic. I've never ziplined before and I'm 67 years old. This was the most fun I've had in forever! I'm going to zip line as much as I can in the future! Safety was the priority all along the way and our guide from Connecticut did a great job of reassuring folks and keeping the instructions impactful, but light. She and her associate guides were the best. If you've ever wanted to try this, but have been frightened to do so, go for it! You'll surprise yourself!

Came up For the zip tour. The weather was perfect in the summer. The zip tour was exhilarating and fun. Beautiful views. We had a large group and they took us all together. A fun event. Food at the restaurant was good.

Absolutely stellar mountain. Excellent snow, REALLY REASONABLE lift ticket prices, and (most important) was the Customer service! No bummed out lifties, everyone smiling. Me and my 9 friends go to a new mountain for Super Bowl every year and I think this one was in our top 2!!! From the rentals to the Snow Patrol, everyone made our weekend STELLAR. Bravo guys!

We went on Christmas day. It was expensive. My daughter and I choose to ski only for half a day. I didn't think I would like it. Surprisingly, I liked it. I had booked my rentals and lift tickets online in the morning. When we arrived, we went to the box office to get our RFID lift pass. There was no line. The rental line was the same. I had already gave them all our information. The rental person made sure everything was accurate and had us out of there within minutes. There was no waiting at any of the lifts that we took. We had fun skiing down their hills. We had lunch in their restaurant. My daughter was smart and got a ham sandwich. For some reason I ordered the worst tasting and looking teriyaki bowl/plate in the world. The meat looked like it was cooked in an instapot. The rice was mushy like they had too much water in it. I didn't finish it. It was a good half day skiing here. I enjoyed Mt. Bachelor. Maybe I will come here again one day. But, no more ordering their beef bowl or whatever that thing was.

Great overnight RV camping spot #7. We had two beautiful Bluebird days with lots of excellent skiing!! Day three however was a mess, big storm came in lots of snow and high winds. Lots of wind hold. The staff throughout the Mt Bachelor resort were friendly and helpful, especially the hosts! We are most definitely looking forward to doing it again!

View from 3rd zip line.

Great zip lining experience! Only three lines but you start at the top of the mountain and make your way down. Super fast lines, spectacular views on a clear day and very nice guides. Would recommend!

Beautiful blue bird day with great beer and fries for Apres, it is dope. People are very friendly and helpful. We lucked out with summit and northwest both open today.

Extremely unhelpful staff, seem annoyed with visitors and customers. Will go to a different place next time.

Ask the Community - Mt. Bachelor

Visiting Bend for our first time end of March beginning of April 2019, and we would like to get our almost 5 year old son up on skis 🎿 for the first time. Is this a good place as far as price, young child friendly, snowfall, etc.?

Absolutely. All the above. The mountain is certainly family friendly. The 5 year old should be put in a class with a Pro and along with others in the same age and level. The seasons are long. So late March early April will just fine. You can't go… Read more

The meeting place was well described to us and followed up with an email. The shuttle was right on time. Chris was very personable. I loved his knowledge of the area and information he shared with us regarding the bike ride we were about to go on. He also had detailed maps of the 26 mile rides for us and also described some specific areas of the trail. I have been on many shuttles. What I loved most about Chris is that at the end he wanted to make sure everyone was ok and no questions that anyone had were left unanswered. He did not rush off. Thank you!!

You're riding along the Mackenzie river on a single track trail for up to 25 miles. The scenery is amazing. The water is roaring and clear. The trail is very well maintained. I'm glad this business exists and people have an opportunity to explore this terrific landscape. The bad: we showed up and the guy behind the desk was stressed and had a lot of anxiety. It was only us and one other group of two people. We planned on doing the entire trail (25 miles) but were told the top 9 miles is very technical and we should only do the bottom 16 miles. We submitted and said okay. Unfortunately, where we dropped off only allowed for 10 miles of beginner riding. I called when we finished and they said it was a miss-communication on their part and would take us further up. We went further up and did the next 10 miles. There was one mile of pretty technical riding where we had to stop riding and walk a decent amount. The rest of the time was all beginner/intermediate riding. When finished we couldn't call the shop to get picked up because there was no service. We rode along the road until there was service and called and txted the driver 11 times. No answer. We finally called the shop and were informed that "his phone was on the charger." They said he would be here to pick us up in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I called back and got a lot of attitude from the front desk staff saying "we have other things to do to." Luckily it was an amazing ride. Really hoping they can get their communication and customer service dialed in!

The room had a sink, microwave, and mini fridge. There was also a couch, good quality tv, and a fire place. I liked that I've was available and it was pre-bagged to ensure cleanliness. The bathroom had a his and her sink setup, the shower is separate from the toilet, and the air conditioner was perfect, when needed. My only dislike about the room was the outlet near the bed. There was only one outlet available for a device that was not a phone or laptop. I needed to hook up a medical device and the outlet was too far from the top of the bed. I used the hot tub, sauna, steam room, and trails. At times, the women's locker room was a dirty mess. It would have been nice for someone to stay on top of keeping it clean. During the conference, we were served food, coffee, tea, and drinks. All the staff attending to us were great. Anything we needed, they provided it. I would for sure visit again!
