Check out our view from our room. You could see the Deschutes River from here!!

We stayed here for one night in the middle of the week in February. It was a spur of the moment booking since we were already staying in town, but the place we were staying at originally (Seventh Mountain Resort) wouldn't let us stay an extra night because they were supposedly full. This place was a bit pricey, but the private hot tub on the balcony was a GREAT feature. There was no sharing a hot tub with strangers and their children or walking to get to the hot tub. Amazing view!! Our unit was on the backside, facing the river. We really loved watching the sunrise over the hills from the hot tub. We even saw a couple of deer walk out back. Our unit was huge. We were two couples sharing a one bedroom unit. One couple took the bedroom and the other couple took the living room. I think the couple in the living room slept more comfortably than us in the bedroom because the mattress in the bedroom was severely lumpy. The hair dryer in the bathroom barely worked either. I did love the washer and dryer in the unit. That was a nice convenience, just wished there was a small box of detergent available in the unit. We were a close walk to the Cascade Lakes Lodge, which is where we decided to have dinner. Even though this resort isn't the closest to Mt Bachelor, it's still not that far of a drive to and from the mountain. Pretty centrally located to downtown.

We didn't actually stay at the Mt. Bachelor Village Resort, but instead had our wedding reception there! Hank, who is in charge of managing events at the resort was AMAZING. A week before my wedding, which was set to be completely outside on September 28, SNOW showed up in the forecast. I made several calls to resorts, hotels, breweries and other places in an effort to have a backup plan for actual snow, although I firmly believed the forecast would change. Hank was one of the people I called, and he was totally willing to work with me, with only one week's notice!! Still, I waited until Thursday before the wedding to make the call to bring the reception inside and Hank did the rest. He coordinated with my wedding planner to get all of the vendors everything they might need to pull this off, he let us use some of his decorations and chairs for the ceremony, he found a projector for my sisters to use during their speech and was present at the resort the whole time to help guests with coats, help vendors move furniture and make sure that everything was running smoothly. I didn't get a chance to actually stay at the resort, but I can tell you that I will for sure be returning! The space we used for the reception was indoor/outdoor and the outside part was heated! We had the dance floor and DJ outside, where we also had cocktail hour. It was warm and out of the snow (which continued all day long) but it was still outside for most of it! We had dinner and speeches and dessert inside the event space and it could not have been more magical. If you're looking for a great reception space - this is the place. But even more so, Hank deserved MVP. He impressed my dad so much with his help that my dad just kept saying "people like that restore my faith in humanity." Seriously, if you're looking for a great place to get married, have a reception, get photos done, have a party and have everyone centrally located (there are tons of rental houses!) this is the place! Have Hank help you because he is amazing!!

We stay here every year in the springtime. This year, we noticed a big improvement in the customer service & how attentive the staff were to our needs.

I love staying here. My only issue is the front office staff, namely Janna who upon check in was defensive and snippy.

Great place to home base in Bend. Awesome access to Mt. Bachelor, west side and the Athletic Club of Bend and Scanlon's restaurant.

The room had a sink, microwave, and mini fridge. There was also a couch, good quality tv, and a fire place. I liked that I've was available and it was pre-bagged to ensure cleanliness. The bathroom had a his and her sink setup, the shower is separate from the toilet, and the air conditioner was perfect, when needed. My only dislike about the room was the outlet near the bed. There was only one outlet available for a device that was not a phone or laptop. I needed to hook up a medical device and the outlet was too far from the top of the bed. I used the hot tub, sauna, steam room, and trails. At times, the women's locker room was a dirty mess. It would have been nice for someone to stay on top of keeping it clean. During the conference, we were served food, coffee, tea, and drinks. All the staff attending to us were great. Anything we needed, they provided it. I would for sure visit again!

Timeshare sales are behaving like street prostitutes in 3rd world countries without the boobs & legs factor. What's next, stand in front of your car so you can't move? After a cool personable guy gave me my room keys and fire log, I walked straight toward the door. Naturally, sales called my name, and not even pausing, I told them "no thank you I'm not interested", and walked out the door. I guess that's not good enough. A sales guy followed me out the door with a flashlight yelling that he was "security" and that I must immediately "stop walking away." By the time I got inside my car, locked the door with my wife and kid who had stayed safely inside, he shined his light through the passenger door window and yelled that he was going to freeze my account. :ROFLMAO: The light scared my 11-year old, and frightened my wife until I told her all this is a complete ruse. Should I call 911 the next time this happens? You can't make up pure comedy better than WM Timeshare sales, and I hope they read this. Ignore them completely. They take advantage of any pleasantries you may start with. You are the guest and if you say no, they should honor your no. Usually they will ignore it and ask more questions. The company hosting the seminar covered the cost of our room, so we did not pay for it. The property itself is large and sprawls on either side of the river. We stayed on the second level, with a balcony overlooking the river, which was really nice! The hotel is from the 1970's, but it seemed nicely maintained and the room was very clean. Amenities I appreciated were the dual bathroom vanities, comfy chair, refrigerator, and USB charging ports on the wall. The room itself was generously sized. The bathroom was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was fine (not terrible, but not amazing). One thing I really missed having in the room was a microwave to reheat leftovers or coffee...I was surprised by the absence of this common amenity. As stated earlier, we didn't pay for this room. I looked up pricing, and the base rate seemed relatively reasonable. However, they tack on a 19% "amenity fee" that raises the rate quite a bit, along with the usual transient taxes by state and local governments. Even though I found our stay here to be enjoyable, I don't think I'd pay the rate they're charging overall for that same room. Although the river view was nice, I think I'd skip it and save some money. If their rates are acceptable to you and you value a riverside view, it's absolutely a nice hotel to stay at. All of the staff we encountered were very kind, too. I can't really say anything negative about our experience here! I would have given it a five star review, but I find the final room rate to be too expensive and having a microwave would have been appreciated.
