This was an interesting experience! I used to live in the neighborhood and this was a regular spot. They sent a Valentines email ad and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to visit the old haunt. When I arrived, I was greeted by the bartender, Zach, smoking outside. He was very gregarious and began chatting me up about how great is the Distillery. My friend arrived and we went into order. He made a few suggestions and we decided on The Great Pumpkin and The Ghost Sour. I think Zach may have partaken of his own wares because it took nearly half an hour for us to get our drinks. He also discouraged us from ordering the Smoked Manhattan because it took about 10 minutes to make. Someone ordered it later on though and it was fun to watch it be made. Even though he was a little handsy (and possibly tipsy) he made us laugh and created a welcoming atmosphere. And WOW! The cocktails were FABULOUS! Very well balanced and smooth. He also treated us to a lemondrop shot which allowed us to taste the pure alcohol a little better. We got hungry and had to leave and would have ordered another drink if they came around a little faster, but overall I would recommend this Distillery and I plan to visit in the future to pick up a bottle or two!

Got here a little bit earlier than their opening time, but the workers were kind enough to let me in and pour me a flight. What can I say, this place is AMAZING! Not only do they craft whiskey, but they also distill, Gin, vodka, shochu, rum, moonshine and more. Every item on the flight was outstanding, and I was totally blown away. The vodka really impressed me, and the gym was otherworldly. But I have to say, the best part of the experience was how knowledgeable and friendly these experts were-- they broke it down and explain how they make each type of elixir, and it was so very interesting! My advice to you is skip all the other tourist trap distilleries and check these guys out, you won't be disappointed.

Had a great time checking out new places on Broadway and the Denver Distillery was a great find! Fancy cocktails was an understatement and amazing bartenders made our night such a blast! The place was on the smaller side but it only makes for better mingling. Cannot wait to come back again!

I visited back in April and had a lovely time. I'm pretty sure we were the only ones in the place and the bartender was warm, inviting, and attentive. They explained all the options and made drink suggestions. A few of the girls opted for cocktails but I got the tasting flight. EVERYTHING was good! There wasn't a single spirit I didn't enjoy and they were all unique. I'm normally a whiskey drinker, but I liked the gin (gasp), and rum, especially the navy strength. Highly recommend!

Great little place. The 4-Grain Straight bourbon is fantastic. If you like smokey, the Applewood Smoked Straight Rye is a mouthful. The bartender is not talkative, which I appreciate, and makes a great old fashioned, which I appreciate even more.

They distill all their stock in house and it's delicious. Flights available. 2oz drinks for a great price. Zachary was so dope! Honestly, one of my favorite spots I've been to in Denver and I've been here a handful of times. Definitely recommend.

We swung by here when Adrift was on a 2+ hour wait. I wasn't impressed with the gin and tonic or the meat pies. I got the chicken pot pie, which was their special, it was meh. Some ghost tour was meeting here so the place was fairly packed but cleared out when they went on their tour. Bartender was friendly, service was quick. The ghost tour people seemed to have fancier drinks so maybe I ordered the wrong thing. But the gin and tonic just tasted like some gin with tonic water, no lime or anything. I'm not sure if it is worth another trip down here to try it again. Lots of other places to try in this part of town.

My boyfriend and I stumbled into this little spot, and I'm so glad we did. It's super casual, but these guys know their food and drinks! We were blown away by the New Zealand style pies and tasty cocktails. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and it was the perfect spot to just sit down and enjoy each other's company. The historical location only adds to the charm, thank you for having us!

We booked the distillery tour but arrived early for drinks. Definitely recommend that plan! We each had a cocktail and then shared the Full Flight (10 pours). The Full Flight includes all of their spirits except their Distiller's Reserve 4-Grain Bourbon. It's a great deal and definitely worth it! Our tour with Chris was great! Super informative but low-key. It was also free! After our tour, we each had one more cocktail. Highly recommend the Et Cetera - our favorite of all of the cocktails!

Last month we visited Denver Distillery. It was our second or third time. We absolutely love their house made gin. They also make an incredible coffee liqueur, from coffee extracts of the local Kaladi Coffee roasters. Located near the intersection of Broadway and Alameda, it is right across the street from Lil' Devils. Their bartenders are amazing! The menu has some very interesting house specialties, but they are also willing to craft any custom desire. We happened to luck-out, and got there in time to join a free tour of the distillery, which is mostly in the basement. Tours are available almost every day, but must be pretty early in the evening, before 6pm. Our guide was one of the master distillers, who had a very impressive beard. The history of the building, the process involved to open a distillery in Denver, and learning about the actual distilling process was very informative and free... and of course you get to enjoy the tour with a cocktail in hand! Definitely a tour for all five senses. This would be a great way to start an evening out on the town, especially impressing out of town guests.

My amazing drinking tour of Colorado continues! This time my adventures took me here. My Denver mixologist of choice resides here and goes by Steph. Please ask her for "The Siren", which is a delicious, layered cocktail of her own creation. Follow it up w The Fae to end it on a sweet note. You have to love any place that takes the time to make the real egg white fizz! Amazingly personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to watch, Steph is definitely reason alone to come to the bar. Oh and they are a distillery! I hate Gin as a general rule and learned that there really is a thing as a sipping gin on the rocks but that's not even their signature liquor! Try the spiced rum on the rocks! Please come for the delicious locally distilled alcohol and stay for the amazing mixology that is Stephanie!

Place is beautiful! The cocktails are great. The Oberon was balanced with sweet and sour. Also, the music spoke to my soul. I hope to be back.

The two guys working the bar, Josh and Jake, are super friendly and made us feel like they've known us forever. That was awesome. Such a great neighborhood bar vibe. There's a great selection at the bar. I tried the seasonal porter and went so far to have another when I finished the first one. Josh and I talked about porter beers for a bit. The food selection is great and the food itself was awesome. No complaints. Great sized portions, the Cubano Sandwich exceeded my expectations, and we had the stuffed tater tots (tater kegs?) as an appetizer. Again, outstanding. As mentioned, even though it was our first time there we were made to feel like some of the regulars through conversation and the like. The crowd is eclectic. And, having lived in Chicago for a while, it was fun to do a shot of Malört with the bartenders and some of the other folks sitting at the bar. Go here. One of the best experiences I've had in this type of establishment in years.

We kicked things off with the Tater Kegs basically five mega tots stuffed with bacon, chive, and cheddar. They were insanely good. I could've easily taken down another order, but I knew what was coming next... the wings. These bad boys are smoked for 12 hours, then fried up and dunked in house made sauces that taste like they've been perfected over time. We went with Kicking Bourbon (sweet with a little heat) and Alabama White Sauce (creamy, tangy perfection). The blue cheese and ranch are homemade...you can actually taste the difference and the fries? Crispy, golden, and gone way too fast. To wash it down, I grabbed a local Kölsch on tap; icy cold, light, and spot-on with the wings. And the vibe? Perfect mix of chill and fun. The bartenders were super friendly, the music hit right, and the whole place just had that "local favorite" energy. Honestly, Wild Corgi Pub is one of those spots that doesn't try too hard it just nails it. Good food, good people, good beer. That's all you need. I'll definitely hit this spot again when we return for another weekend getaway!

Any time I go to Denver for a conference, I try to make it out here. I went in the middle of the day for lunch and there were a couple tables and people at the bar, but not crazy busy. Staff is informative and friendly. We got the: 1) Chips and Curry: -It's house made fries and curry sauce. -I'm used to Japanese curry, so I'm always a little bit taken aback when the curry has a bit of sweetness to it, but delicious either way. Filling and comforting. Great diversity of textures and savory, salty, and umami flavors. Gotta get the black pudding too. 3) Scotch Egg: -Comes with spicy mustard. -I LOVE scotch eggs. I'm a low key hardboiled egg enjoyer, so the addition of the sausage layer around with the deep fried breadcrumbs and dipped in mustard? Divine. I will always order this when I see it and this was good! 4) Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich: -You get a choice of fries or tots.
