Dino explained that this was because there was some work needed that wasn't visible in the photos I sent. It might still be a good price overall compared to what I'll pay at the body shop, but for other potential buyers, just make sure you send all the photos of the things that need repairing so that you don't get surprised by the end cost.

Leo immediately threw his hands up and said "I'm now lowering shit my price is my price I put mad time into this." Not only did he create a new $600-$800 problem on top of the $1,600 but he didn't have the decency to speak to me like a gentlemen, just threw his hands up and walked away. Ironically enough, I called around and found out that this has been the theme with Leo lately, overcharging and never taking accountability. If this was 2-3 years ago, I'd recommend him all day. Ghosting: After doing a poor job and leaving the repair in bad condition, he promised to come back and fix it. After a no show when he was supposed to come he ignores all calls and texts. The Proof: Avoidance: He instantly hangs up when I call from my number. The Trap: I called him from a different number and he picked up instantly. As soon as he realized it was me, he pretended he "couldn't hear anything" and hung up then proceeding to ignore that number. Bottom Line: He is a scammer.
