Mike and his team are magical, I presented them a very difficult task of making the wrong part fit and become the right part. Unfortunately when dealing with a 40 year old vehicle, many parts are discontinued - so you have to get the best supplemental version. Mike seamlessly did the impossible. His team not only made it work but before chalking up a win - continued to check to ensure that the work was solid. And it was - it ALWAYS is. read more

I've been taking my Honda to Mike's Auto Care for over 10 years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. What really sets Mike apart is that he goes above and beyond. When one part on my car broke, instead of just repairing it and charging me, he took the time to call the dealership to see if there were any recalls. It turned out the part was covered under a recall, which ended up saving me several thousand dollars! Mike always takes the time to explain what's going on, never pressures you into unnecessary repairs, and wants to help. He cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. I highly recommend Mike. He's kept my Honda running great for years, and I'm grateful to have found someone so dependable. read more

Great brake job. Honest and they were quick and accommodating. I definitely recommend them.

I had an unusual car sound and needed it to be fixed within the same day, which is a big ask for a busy garage. I showed up in the morning without an appointment, and they diagnosed the issue super quickly and expertly as an issue with the wheel bearings. They were fixed before the day was out and the price was within the range that a quick search said was reasonable. The nearby coffee shop and pizza spot were good spots to hang out and work while the car was being taken care of. Thanks for the help @Mike et al. read more

Took my car in to get transmission fluid drained and filled, and to see why my car was riding rough. Mike is the only mechanic that was able to not only correctly diagnose every problem my car had, but repair it perfectly without overcharging me or adding things I don't need. He's super friendly and personable, and very good at what he does. I would highly recommend Mike's Auto Care to anybody. read more

This shop is a good place it really is and the reason I'm lowering my rating just a tad is that Mike's place is so popular and busy that I think they do more than they probably should on any given day and I haven't been back and don't plan on going back. I'm not shitting on the place at all just saying it's not for me. You'd think this place was featured on a Netflix special with how insanely busy it gets. I've had a few wonderful experiences with this shop for repairs but the last repair I had for my muffler heat shield falling off didn't go exactly as expected. Needless to say the heat shield came loose within two weeks after Mike's shop "repaired" it so I took it to another mechanic that not only repaired the loose heat shield, the person did the repair in less than 15 mins while I waited and only charged me $30! Let's just say that was more than half the original price I paid this shop to fix it. Not gonna lie, I didn't realize (1) the job was that easy and (2) that I'd get charge so much less elsewhere AND have my car back on the road in what felt like 5 mins but was really more like 15 mins. My heat shield repair left me feeling like the job was rushed. I most certainly could have gone back to ask for the job to be corrected but I didn't and that's on ME. I just think this shop gets so busy they literally put a band-aid on my vehicle and took my money. I'm not mad (really I'm not), I just think this shop needs either more hands on deck or manage appointments better so that jobs aren't rushed and quality of work suffers. Any previous work I've had done at this shop was done wonderfully, no complaints at all. With appointments you get same day service which is really great. Just be warned this place gets insanely busy no exaggeration you'd think it was showcased on TV or something and everyone wants Mike to fix their cars. Maybe Mike touching their cars raises the resell value because he's a celebrity, who knows! read more

Mike and his team were a true Godsend and helped me and my girlfriend when our car unexpectedly lost all electrics and could no longer be driven as we headed from NYC to the Catskills on a beautiful weekend day. We were very fortunate to be near Goshen and had managed to restart our car after breaking down, but only to roll the car with the power remaining. A quick check on our Yelp mobile app as we frantically rolled through downtown Goshen showed Mike's Auto Care with top ratings - we thought, we have no other choice, let's get it there and make the best of the situation. We were so fortunate that Mike's garage was still open around 6.30pm on Saturday. Mike and his manager stayed after-hours to quickly diagnose a faulty alternator as the problem. As my car was older and parts were harder to find, time would be needed to order and expedite delivery, then work could begin. He brought my car into the garage and assured that it would be looked at first-thing by their reopening on Monday. The whole while the garage staff were super friendly and accommodating given the circumstances; we were very fortunate that they took time to help us in need. Now, leaving our car at the garage and heading to a nearby hotel, I was concerned that Mike's team could charge us to their heart's desire for parts and labor. I got the cost estimate on Monday morning - a bit higher due to expedited, same-day delivery, but understandable and reasonable. They were very fair and transparent about the cost breakdown. As Mike promised, they would replace the parts and ensure we could get back on the road ASAP on Monday - and he made sure that happened. I'm very thankful to Mike and his team. They were very honest and trustworthy mechanics. I'm a former General Motors employee from an auto family (uncle formerly owned an auto repair garage for years). I greatly appreciated their professionalism and true care for our car (also checking over all other vehicle diagnostics, tire pressure, and even a test drive) - and truly excellent customer service. These guys are the real deal and a true gem in the Goshen community. Thanks again Mike and team! read more

We were traveling from Rochester NY to NJ and our car broke down around Goshen. We drove into his garage at 4 pm on a Saturday feeling hopeless. Luckily, Mike agreed to look at the car, stayed after ours with his mechanic, identified the problem and fixed it. He was so friendly and kind, offered us cookies, coffee and a smile! Two hours later, we were on our way feeling grateful tat we met him! read more

Mike and his nephew, Henny, were so helpful today. i came in, with my two young daughters in tow on my way to work in NJ (an hour away) and had discovered a small nail in the sidewall of my tire. They immediately swapped out the tire and put my spare on for me and checked the pressure in each tire. Mike talked with my girls and gave me advice on the best way to travel to avoid the highways because of the spare. The whole place was extremely friendly and welcoming and although my day started out very rough, they were the reason WHY I was able to eventually get to work. So, so grateful for Mike and his team! read more

Two hours away from home, in an area I wasn't familiar with, right before everything was about to close for the holiday, on NYE weekend-my car broke down. I was totally stranded. I couldn't be more thankful for the staff at Mike's Auto Care. They were so kind, accommodating, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. My car was done in one day before they left for the holiday. They even checked in after New Year's Day to make sure everything was going ok with the car. They did everything they could to help me with speed, fair prices, care, and efficiency. I'm so glad I ended up at Mike's Auto Care in my time of need! read more

Showed genuine compassion and empathy when my mom had been left stranded by a tow truck (not from their company), and he had one of his own drivers come out to get her after their closing hours, going above and beyond the job to make sure my mom and her car were safe. I had been talking to Mike and his guys for a bit about doing some after market things on my Ford Maverick. During this time I also shopped around town visiting and speaking with different mechanics and shop owners. Hands down Mike gave me the best price in town for the same exact service. He gave me the honest price without having to ask for a discount. The guys here are really knowledgeable and respectful. They do their job well. I would recommend them to anyone needing work done. He was really reliable and very easy to get in touch with and was willing to work for me to get me the best deal. The quality of their work was great! So if you're in need go visit them. read more

We got a flat tire on a highway a few miles away from Mike's shop. By the time we arrived he was waiting, told us that there is no exact match for our tire, but there is one that is very similar. We explained that we are in a hurry so they did the work in no time; we were back on the road in an hour! Awesome service, very responsive, highly recommended! Thanks for your help, Mike! read more

I was driving a rental car and the "check tire pressure" light turned on. I pulled over and checked Google Maps and I was 2 minutes away from Mike's. So I called to ask if they would check my tire pressure for me if I swung by and they said to come on over. I got there, handed over my keys, and was out the door in 15-20 with fully inflated tires again. On top of that, they said it was free and they would cover the cost for me that day. So nice! I would highly suggest you go here if you have any tire pressure issues. They were great! read more

Tire. You had one job. To hold air while doing cartwheels. And you failed me. While I was far away from home. But Mike made it right. He makes an honest living, not a quick buck. Fair price, good advice. Thanks, Mike. For fixing the tired, and the tip on the onion fields. read more

I took my Vehicle to Mike due to having one of these engine codes and I knew my car was faulty. Mike was able to check the problem and tell Me what was going on with my vehicle. He's definitely about pleasing his customer and taking care of their vehicle needs. My car had transmissions problem and he was able to fix it and give me his thought on what to do with the vehicle. I thank him so much for being so truthful to his customers. If it was another shop, I would probably had spend an arm & a leg how we say. Thanks So much Mike for being so genuine & taking care of everyone that walks through your business. I will definitely visit Mike in the future if I have any car issues. 5Star Service!! read more

My 2016 Audi 4Q drove home like a new baby. I am so happy I found a local auto repair shop that deals with foreign cars. Mike's Auto came highly recommended by neighbors and other people in my community. I even discovered I had family members who used Mike's. I don't have to travel into another state to have my car serviced by the closest dealer, which would cost me over $1000 just for a check up. Mike's was professional, helpful, and patient when explaining everything that needed to be done before he started the work. I can attest to the fact that he was extremely reasonable. Mike's Auto will be my new go to mechanic. read more

Good, old fashioned customer service. A business that keeps its word. Someone that throws in a little something extra for no reason other than being a good neighbor and great local businessman. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I only went to Mikes because I read great reviews here on Yelp. Those reviews were spot on. Mike is a very personable man. He takes the time to discuss and evaluate the problem. He gives you solutions and options. He keeps his word. He said he'd get the job done on a certain day. He said he'd charge a certain price. He said he'd save me money. He did, he did and HE DID! His price was one third of the other quote I got. AND...he stands behind his work! Every situation is different but I can say, with confidence, he will do his best to save you time, money and keep you coming back. He made a lifetime customer out of me! Thanks Mike! read more

I'm visiting from the Rochester area and had a leak in my tire. I called toward the end of the day and explained my situation, and Hani told me to come on in. He took care of us despite all of the mechanics having left for the day, and he even drove my three boys and me to the nearby diner so that we could have dinner while we waited. Hani found and removed a big gnarled nail, repaired the tire, and had us on our way quickly. His kindness turned a stressful situation into a heartwarming experience. He truly treated us like family. read more

Took a gamble on a small local business. I was very pleased. Took my wife's Lexus IS250 here for a second opinion after another mechanic told me I had to put over $4500 into the car for a new engine due to loss of compression. Boy am I thankful for Mikes. Clearly, the other shop had no idea what they were talking about. Not only did I NOT have to get a new engine but they also provided friendly service. Don't find too many shops that seem trustworthy, competent and consumer friendly anymore. I still coughed up a pretty penny but Mike, Rosa and crew provided great service. They can count on me for a recommendation. read more

Mike has been in the business for a long time, and he's a very nice, professional, honest mechanic. He explained to me how my rear brake weren't adjusted properly and were causing extra strain on my front brakes. He offered a very reasonable price (much cheaper than the dealership) for service and parts, and to allay any concerns, he mentioned that he uses quality parts that come with a 1 year, unlimited miles warranty! Will definitely return for any future service! read more

In a world where most people dread going to an auto repair shop, Mike's was a very welcome change from what I had experienced in the past. Mike was very upfront and extremely accommodating to our needs. We had to get our front brake pads and rotors replaced after hearing them start to grind. We stopped by the shop at 3pm in the afternoon not expecting to be able to get it done that day (but hoping as we needed the car for a commute to NYC the next day). Mike was very upfront about the cost and also went out of his way to have the job done that day. We got the car back by 6. The price was very reasonable and in line with what the job should have cost, so we were very pleased. Bottom line: Price was just right, service was outstanding. We are thrilled to have a place so close that we feel that we can trust to do a good job at a reasonable price without being shady like so many auto repair shops are. We will be going to Mike's for all our auto repair needs! read more

I went to Mike's today for an oil change and NYS inspection, after hearing many personal testimonials to his great work as well as seeing his amazing online reviews. Boy do they live up to the hype! Been driving for a couple of months on the excellent tires that Mike and his team recommended and installed.
