My SUV suspension just "felt off" and the techs at this shop discovered one of my sway bar links were completely broken. Don't ask me what that is but Good Lord they were able to fix me right up pronto. Thankfully I didn't need to leave my car her for 3 weeks like many mechanics ask you to do, well not exactly 3 weeks but they tend to take longer than a day at times. This team had me fixed up same day. The mechanic also told me my brakes were pretty worn out but that I could go a little longer before replacing them to save some money and get the most from my current brakes (rear). I value honesty and fair prices which in turn gets my respect & loyalty so the fact the mechanic told me my brakes were wearing out but he didn't want to take my money (yet) when I could get more life out of the brakes I currently have really is amazing. I was super thankful for the honest assessment of my brakes and opted to change them now rather than later. Besides I don't drive much so the brakes I had were probably last replaced about five years ago so from years of weather my rotors certainly looked bad, at least to an amateur like me because I'm certainly no mechanic. Overall I am super happy to have found this place and am committed to being a loyal customer for as long as I live in the Goshen area. If I eventually get a brand new car sadly the team here won't see me for a long time until that new car ages but I'd still recommend them in a heart beat. For now we will have a lasting business relationship for the next few years till my current SUV dies on me, hopefully not too soon under the care of these auto experts. I came in with a screw in my tire needing a plug after a terrible experience at Mavis Discount Tire, where I was told I needed four new tires and that my tire couldn't even be repaired. Unfortunately, that's the kind of experience I've come to expect as a woman going in for car service alone. This morning was the complete opposite. I brought my car to Tony, and it was on the lift right at 8:00 AM and finished by 8:26 AM. Turns out I needed two plugs, and Tony was honest and straightforward--he let me know my tires are about halfway through their life and suggested considering replacements toward the end of the summer. No pressure, just facts. And then the best part--Tony insisted the repair was on the house. It honestly felt like he knew I needed a positive experience this week. It completely turned my day around. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you so much, Tony and team! As for the review from Rick S below, that's nonsense, when I called I was told very clearly that they open at 7 but techs start at 8. Sounds like this guy has selective hearing! If everyone is raving about the place maybe you're the problem sir, Mavis might be a better option for you.

We have always used Goshen Car Wash for our inspections and never had an issue. So I decided to…read moretake my car (Lexus RX) to them for an alignment thinking it's an easy service, and the location is convenient. Why not try to support another local business instead of going to the Lexus dealer. I called them and they took me in the same day for an alignment plus tire rotation. Once my car was done they had it parked outside and I paid the cashier. I drove off and I felt like my steering wheel was still off, maybe slightly more than before because I can see behind the steering wheel column. So I called Charlie and asked if he could just double check it, and he was so nice and didn't hesitate. So a few days later I brought my car back in for them to check it. Once again when it was done my car was parked outside and ready to go. I decided to go into the alignment building and ask how my alignment was. Charlie explained I "must have hit a pothole for my front tire to be off so much." I'm sure I didn't hit a pothole but I just let it go. Now I asked if I could get an alignment printout because I never got one the first time. Charlie went and printed a copy for me. He then explained to me, while showing me the alignment paper, that I will "eventually need new cambers but he would need to order aftermarket parts." He also advised me that my "alignment will be good for now" I told him no problem, I will let my husband know. I tipped the mechanic and off to my car. Now I start my car but can't find the fob. I'm looking everywhere. I know the key is in there because it started, but I can't find it. I run back in and the mechanic apologized that he dropped it between the seat but forgot to get it. No biggie, he found it and I drove off. Well.... Now my steering wheel is even worse! The minute I pulled out you could see and feel it was clearly off. I seriously couldn't believe it!! I told my husband what Charlie said about my cambers, I showed him the printout, and then he decided to test drive my car. Since the car was worse he ended up going to a place in Middletown. Come to find out they never aligned my rear. I attached the alignment sheet below. The guy also told my husband it should be illegal to try to sell me cambers. I am going assume Charlie tried to sell me something my car has and doesn't need. Now thankfully my steering wheel is finally back to normal, and she's driving like new. But to top it off TWO of my coworker's had a similar experience there. Except they were smart enough to not go back. So thinking about my experience with them, I explained to my husband, I feel this review will be more effective than calling Charlie, explaining their error(s) and asking for a refund. They don't have to ever worry about me ever utilizing their business again, but I hope they will start being honest, and if that's not the case, hire competent mechanics. Unfortunately I can't recommend Goshen Carwash, and never will, because I believe they take advantage of customers, especially woman. .**CUSTOMERS BEWARE **

I went to Juan to get a valve cover replacement since he diagnosed the pvc was bad everytime he…read moreopened the motor cap it went away but the car had a whining sound.This would be the third time I get my car service at this shop.I bought all the parts from fcp euro oem valve cover and spark plugs ,coil and a starter.He gave a high quote but I thought WTF the shop is close to me and they stand by their work.The car was there for almost two days.I paid Juan cash,tipped the mechanic and took my car.After driving it for about 30 minutes the same noise was still there.I went back and spoke to Juan and the mechanic and they both looked at me and said "we did everything the way it should be done- probably the pvc came defective".I told him "this is a brand new valve cover not a used one, ok I'll call and get another sent out to me and return this one" He asked me if the company will pay for labor -- WTF.. Basically telling me I would have to pay for the whole job again.When I ask him what he meant he told me his mechanic has to work on the car again which is about 5 Hrs of labor which was the same price $700 not to mention the $1100 he initially charged for the whole job.He was very dismissive and didnt want to stand behind his work or guarantee it .Absolutely absurd! This is not how a business should conduct business. I could of taken it anywhere else for half the price. I had to take it to my mechanic and pay again for the job to be done the right way... these guys at elite are clowns. Guess what my mechanic found out .These Fucktards at ELITE AUTO WORK knew exactly what they did and never told me a thing.The mechanic snap one of the screws in half then tried to take it out with a tap and snap that inside trying to take the screw out and left that inside.He then put silicone around the new valve cover,cut an old screw or put the same one he snapped with silicone.I guess he put silicone just so it would look like it was screwed in.Instead of just taking out the screw and the tap that he broke. This would of never worked with all the pressure inside the valve cover when the car is on.So basically you charge your consumer double for your mechanics incompetence & dishonesty. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I would give zero stars.I posted pictures of what these guys do at the Elite shop.--- **consumer Beware**

I thought I wrote a review about here years ago, but I don't see it…read more This is a dishonest company. They are much better service side than sales, but the trouble is that it's one company. I would give the sales team a rating below 0 if I could. It's nothing but lies and manipulative sales practices on that end. They are disgusting. I'd give service a three if they weren't a part of the same company as the sales team. I settled on rating Suresky a two. I have had issues with service, but this team isn't remotely as horrendous as Midas, for example. I've never wondered if they were making up issues or maybe even causing them. This dealership's work has never made me feel unsafe to drive. The car has yet to make new noises or feel out of wack before I can even pull out of the parking lot. I don't return within days with a list of new problems. The mechanics themselves seem to know their jobs. But it is a struggle to get even a recall attended to. The comments about them claiming not to have the parts each visit are accurate. If you try to be proactive and call to make sure the part is in before showing up for the appointment, it's as if they get offended. You end up transferred from department to department. Get tired of phone tag and just show up and you'll see they don't have the part again. This is just one example of bad communication. They just don't communicate well as a company. I've noticed that sometimes the mechanics are confused about why the car is there because the issue wasn't communicated to them, and they couldn't find anything upon inspection. They'll get the work done once they call to speak to you, but it might not be that day. Things like that makes life difficult for a one car family with a peculiar schedule. The frustrating part is that simple communication would nix the issue. Actual work is usually fine. Good luck when it isn't, but that's typical for the industry. The rare problem doesn't seem intentional, so I'm okay with here until I can find a shop with equal skill but better communication. I will say Suresky is surprisingly accommodating for emergencies. They are probably the best in the area that I've found in regards to that.

No one could call me the day prior so I didn't drive in for an appointment I don't have? 8:45 appointment. Jeep dropped off at 7:30am. I call at 12 and my Jeep was next and would be done soon. At 2:45 I called to check as I needed my vehicle, I was told someone would call me back. At 330 no one called me back. Finally at 4 my Jeep was ready. The person who drove me to pick it up laughed and told me it had been sitting out front since they came back from their lunch at 1.

I pull into the third bay and see it has an insert coins slot so I got some loose quarters I had in my cup holder I needed to get rid of just to see that every single slot is blocked off. I swipe my card instead, $3 start up fee whatever, just to find out the hose doesn't even work or switch to the other settings, the high pressure rinse which it was stuck on was at most misting onto my car. So i thought to test my luck with the second bay, the dial to switch between settings worked on this one but when I switch to the high pressure rinse to get the soap off my car i notice the hose is leaking soap so anytime I get close to my car to rinse off the preexisting soap new soap is dripping onto my car. We were new to the area when the transmission went in my car! We looked up local shops and chose him based on positive google reviews. We called him at 4pm and explained the situation and Mike said "don't worry we'll take care of you"....and that he did. We could not have been happier with how honest and open and diligent he was in ensuring we were getting the best deal with the most reliability-he dealt with the warranty department multiple times and was very patient and on top of everything. He even called after we had already had the vehicle back to make sure everything was running smoothly. Mike is easily one of the nicest, most honest people you could meet and you just feel very comfortable knowing you are dealing with a genuine place and getting the best service. Excellent service for my family! I was seeking a trustworthy mechanic for my family and each of their car needs. Both my son and my daughter went for their inspection and a few tune ups. Mike and his associates were quick, efficient and made me feel well informed on the work that was needed. I've did not make me feel pressured to get work done right away or find a way to make more for his buck, he informed me and gave a range of time the work would best be fixed by. My car died on the road. hours from anyone I knew. I had to pick a place to tow it to from a hat. exactly the situation where a person gets taken advantage of.... I could not have been happier having chosen Mikes garage. I felt like I had brought my van to my grandfather's place. Mike looked it over and told me how it was shot but he didn't overcharge me for it. I won't get into it but not having a vehicle and living far from the garage made the whole process a pain but Mike was always smiling and saying "no problem, I understand" that's not something you find everywhere. I kinda wish I lived closer 'cause I know where I'd take my car! read more

I've known Mike for 5 years and was recommended to me by a local friend in Florida, NY. He's an honest professional and is now my go to guy for all my car repairs. His staff does great work.He stands behind his work, if anything goes wrong he'll make sure to make it right. Best of all he's reasonably priced. The only downside to his place is that because he does great work, he's always busy and sometimes wont have time to do an unscheduled repair. If it's an emergency, he'll do his best to take you in but I definitely recommend you call ahead and make an appointment if it's not an emergency. read more

Mike is amazing. He has helped me fix my car troubles a few times now, and he is the friendliest and most honest person when it comes to explaining what is wrong and what has to be fixed. His prices are excellent and he really just treats his customers like family and friends. It sucks when you have car troubles but it is a relief when you have a reliable, excellent mechanic who can put you back on the road quickly and with care. I recommend Mike's shop all the time because he does excellent work and he employs great people who know how to get the job done. read more

Mike's Auto Care is the place to go! Mike, what a great guy. I'm not from the area, and had an emergency breakdown far from home. He was willing to get my car towed to his shop mid day saturday, when they close at 3, and stayed late to get me back on the road! I was worried, because it's the first time at the shop, and did not want to get overcharged. Took care if my car right away, called me to tell me about pricing before doing anything. I have been going to Mikes Auto since moving here in 1999. He has always taken great care of my cars and kept them on the road. The cars are always ready by the end of the day, and never had to take them back for any re-work on repairs. Mike and his team can fix any problem and stands behind his work, and he is there quickly with a tow truck if you are stranded. Started going Mike's regular 2 or so years ago when I was in a real jam. Seemed so willing to help me out of a tough spot. Charge was very reasonable for a lot of work and Mike made sure to explain everything I needed done. Safety first at Mike's and I just took my used Honda to Buffalo to go over 300,000 miles. The guys at Malibu did an amazing job on my Range Rover Sport that was hit by a box truck.The bumper and side panel look flawless like it never happened.
