I talked with Noel who assured me that work could be completed by my tight Christmas travel deadline. I picked up the car on Christmas Eve, as promised, and it looked like new. Great communication, no surprises, commitments met, and he works 6 days a week. Most shops aren't open Saturdays.

They promptly refunded my money and then two weeks later, I noticed that my right front directional light was not working. I got a quote of $50 from another shop and when I brought it in to Bloomfield Auto Body, they immediately replaced the bulb, refastened my front bumper in a temporary fix until I could afford to get it properly fixed and then refused to charge me. This was human kindness and compassion to the nth degree.. and in a business context yet when those qualities seem to be lacking on a purely human level. I will always give the highest reviews, so if you saw the mockumentary Spinal Tap, on a scale of 1-10 I'd rate them an ELEVEN! KUDOS!!! And thank you very much,. Samuel R.

Was told we would get the car back in two weeks. Car did not come back until after Christmas, in which about 100 miles were added on the odometer. The front cup holder was left with full of change (assuming for tolls) as well as an open water jug in the back seat. The back seats came back dirty as well as the cup holders in the rear center. Car is brand new and was used at their leisure during the holidays. Will not recommend or go back here. They seemed nice but using the car for 100 miles was unnecessary especially if the repair was only for body work.

That makes it easier when I have to drive again because i can just head out without the encumbrance of turning my head to the right then to the left to make sure the path is clear to exit when next I drive. So, nose facing outward I sprung the door to my hatchback up, loaded a case of water into the trunk, got into my car and exiting the garage, a loud crushing noise followed by tinkling noises occurred! I had neglected to shut the trunk door and the hatchback was mangled on the garage slide. Having used Clairmont Autobody, Inc , 2 Bloomfield ave before (a teenager rear ended me and I had to pay my own damages) and, I was thoroughly satisfied, especially with the rapidity and perfection of the repair. So, crushed glass and all, I drove to there once again but this time, I did NOT rent a car although I wanted to but Social Security doesn't cover car rentals. I got my car back yesterday and the job was beautifully done within 48 hours. I commend them too for the respect and business manner in dealing with me. I hope NOT to see them again in this life and even if I need to wait longer to get my auto's bodywork done, that's where I will go. Even after moving away, we would often make the trip back just to have them inspect our car because we knew they would give us honest advice. A while back, a chain oil change shop told us we needed new brake pads. We came here for a second opinion, and they explained that the rust we were seeing was normal and would wear off with regular local driving. They were right. A year later, another shop again tried to sell us brake pads during an oil change. We immediately brought the car here, and after a thorough inspection, they told us the brakes still had about 2,000 miles left. That level of honesty is rare. Instead of recommending unnecessary repairs, they only suggest work that actually needs to be done. Their prices are fair, their workmanship is excellent, and most importantly, they genuinely care about their customers. If you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic, you can bring your car here with confidence. In an industry where it's hard to know who to trust, this shop has consistently proven that honesty still exists：）
