He then sent me multiple follow-up messages insisting that he had refunded my husband and that my husband had given him gas money. This never happened. He's now even claiming we never paid the $600 for his service in the first place. Is he just a very convincing scammer, or has he genuinely lost track of events? Either way, it's clear we're not getting paid back, so I guess he got us this time. Hopefully, this review will help prevent others from going through the same experience.

Leo quoted $1,600 ($600 more than all the competitors) and we agreed. Right before we went to pick up the car he texted my brother that they scratched up the inside of his hood. Following my many year relationship with this shop and all the customers I recommended as well, I tried to work out a lower price that works for both of us with Leo. Leo immediately threw his hands up and said "I'm now lowering shit my price is my price I put mad time into this." Not only did he create a new $600-$800 problem on top of the $1,600 but he didn't have the decency to speak to me like a gentlemen, just threw his hands up and walked away. Ironically enough, I called around and found out that this has been the theme with Leo lately, overcharging and never taking accountability. If this was 2-3 years ago, I'd recommend him all day. Today we are forced to take our business elsewhere. You should too.

I have the luxury of parking in my own garage and prefer to back my hatchback into the the garage…read morerather than driving it in nose first. That makes it easier when I have to drive again because i can just head out without the encumbrance of turning my head to the right then to the left to make sure the path is clear to exit when next I drive. So, nose facing outward I sprung the door to my hatchback up, loaded a case of water into the trunk, got into my car and exiting the garage, a loud crushing noise followed by tinkling noises occurred! I had neglected to shut the trunk door and the hatchback was mangled on the garage slide. Having used Clairmont Autobody, Inc , 2 Bloomfield ave before (a teenager rear ended me and I had to pay my own damages) and, I was thoroughly satisfied, especially with the rapidity and perfection of the repair. So, crushed glass and all, I drove to there once again but this time, I did NOT rent a car although I wanted to but Social Security doesn't cover car rentals. I got my car back yesterday and the job was beautifully done within 48 hours. I commend them too for the respect and business manner in dealing with me. I hope NOT to see them again in this life and even if I need to wait longer to get my auto's bodywork done, that's where I will go.
