REquested auto body repair and paid $500 deposit but shortly thereafter due to an unexpected and more urgent expense needed to postpone the work. They promptly refunded my money and then two weeks later, I noticed that my right front directional light was not working. I got a quote of $50 from another shop and when I brought it in to Bloomfield Auto Body, they immediately replaced the bulb, refastened my front bumper in a temporary fix until I could afford to get it properly fixed and then refused to charge me. This was human kindness and compassion to the nth degree.. and in a business context yet when those qualities seem to be lacking on a purely human level. Brought our car in after a rear end early December. Car was fixed well as far as we can tell (hence 2 stars for the required work that was done). Was told we would get the car back in two weeks. Car did not come back until after Christmas, in which about 100 miles were added on the odometer. The front cup holder was left with full of change (assuming for tolls) as well as an open water jug in the back seat. The back seats came back dirty as well as the cup holders in the rear center. Car is brand new and was used at their leisure during the holidays. Will not recommend or go back here. They seemed nice but using the car for 100 miles was unnecessary especially if the repair was only for body work. read more

Was quoted a price of 50.00 by Rocky. Got to shop and was told by someone else price is 250.00 and would have to order. Is it because I am a female? Our car door was hit by a passing driver and had to be replaced. Bloomfield Auto Body did a very thorough job replacing the door and making sure all of the areas of the car near it blended well so that you couldn't even tell the door had been replaced. In the repair process, our windshield got a crack, so Bloomfield Auto Body replaced our windshield without additional charge to us. They also cleaned the exterior and interior of the car, so it came back looking better than it looked before the accident. I was very happy with their honesty and auto workmanship. So, I decided to take my present car to Bloomfield Auto Body. Again, I experienced great workmanship and a very ethical business. After I paid the bill, they gave me a free car wash at Frankie's Finish Line Car Wash which was nice! My 2007 auto had front end damage from an accident. It was recommended that I bring it to BAB for proper repair. Anthony and the entire staff there were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was given a price for the repair work and as they explored unseen concerns, I was kept informed and told of possible solutions (sometimes for additional costs of new parts) and if I wanted it done. When I received the car after a week and a half, it was fantastic. Not only did they make sure it looked like an accident never happened, but they also painted it, so it fully matched the original 15-year-old paint perfectly. They charged me a very fair price for their excellent work. I cannot say enough about their fine business, its employees, and the exceptional work they did. I would just like to say that Anthony at Bloomfield auto body made a very difficult sitiuation for me so much easier to navigate. Mine was a unique sitituaton in that i had two minor accidents back to back. This required more than minor work when combined. In combination with my insurance co Anthony and and the staff were entirely professional, didn't promise anything they didnt deliver and did a grade A job. They finished on time and made things a breeze. They did an excellent job on my car. I recomend them without hesitation and definitely will use them again exclusively. Fantastic service and beautiful work. So incredibly happy and relieved with how easy working with them was. Let's just say when you need an autobody shop your not in a happy place right? Well this shop definitely changed that sentiment for me for sure. From the beging Anthony was great about scheduling an appointment to give me an estimate. He was very professional and forthcoming with the facts on what needed to be done. He had the estimate done same day and was ready to schedule a time to bring the car in. They are very busy ( because they are so great) so scheduling is usually about 1 -2 weeks out. But totally worth the wait. Anthony even did a quick fix on a door hinge so it wouldn't be creaky while I waited for my drop off date. The team at the shop was fantastic on keeping me up to date as I was not paying for the work on when payments were made and how the work was going. Giselle was fantastic is scheduling with me and the person paying. I was told the job would take a week and they got it done early. Which was great and a money saver on rental car. The work was so perfect and they even buffed some scratches out at no cost without being asked too. I was so incredibly happy with my experience. I drove in with almost $3k worth of front damage to my 2014 Mazda3 and a claim # from Geico, the owner told me i had to call my insurance company to arrange an adjuster to come to my house to assess the damage and then bring it back to the body shop. My insurance company told me that i was given false info, i drove my car to another body shop the same day with the claim #, left the car and the adjuster went to the body shop, wrote a check, and i had my car back in a week like brand new. The body shops and the insurance companies work together, it's not on the person to make all types of arrangements and see an adjuster in my driveway. Ridiculous. The owner doesn't know what he talking about, or just didn't want to take the job, he turned me away and lied, misleading customers and giving false info. This place is a joke, i wouldn't bring my worst enemies car to this clown. read more

Had a fender bender on the way from San Francisco to New Jersey. No one was hurt, but the passenger door wouldn't open. It is no fun when you have to scoot under the steering wheel to the passenger seat. I called a number of auto body shops in Bloomfield, but only Bloomfield Auto Body answered. The gentleman was very professional and made arrangements for me to bring the car in for an estimate. He looked over the car and explained that he could do the full repair, but not for 3 weeks. Since I needed the car pronto to return to California, I asked if there were any other options. He said he could do a small repair so that the door would be operational. One day and less than $500 later, I have a repaired car. Frankly, it looks better than it did BEFORE the accident. He did a superb job, and was so pleasant to work with.
