On the outside not looking like much, the interior is welcoming with refreshments available while you wait. The technician walked me around my car and told me the approximate time it would take as well as what they'd be doing. It was a relatively small job I appreciate the thoroughness about the job. A couple days later the technician called me alerting me my car was ready. They did a great job and the best part is they washed my car, inside and out! I'm not sure that is what they normally do but it's a great gesture and boy did my car need it. If you're in need of a body shop and/or you insurance deals with them, I'd recommend.

Having Honda's auto body tech quote a full replacement of the bumper was $1,000. The bumper had paint damage and looked "wavy", so a very low impact and only cosmetic work. Having foundn Roscoe, who does some of the body work for a local Honda dealership, the quote was for less than half to have it repaired and repainted. The results were exceptional! Although it was difficult to get the van in because of scheduling conflicts (he was busy, and my wife was having our 3rd baby soon), it finally went in and only 2 working days later, the van was back and it was done to showroom quality. His knowledge is impeccable and he gave me a significantly better deal than I would have paid at the other shop. My Mini Cooper (as seen in the pictures) was practically totaled when Joe got it. Throughout the entire process he kept in contact updating me on the status of the car and when it would be available. The car looks AND drives like the first day I got it. His work and work ethic is absolutely FLAWLESS. I will never use another shop again!

I wanted to do some custom work to my car (aftermarket suspension, valvetronic exhaust) as well as regular services. John (the owner) and his team has proven to be exceptionally qualified with working on my Mercedes. The valvetronic exhaust installation is not simple because of the added wiring complexity on top of the bolt ons. I was very pleased with their knowledge of these cars. I especially appreciate the care and detail of customizing the locations for foreign parts from the exhaust. I have sat in his shop for hours while waiting for my car and seeing customer after customer walk in and out. All types of cars from Audi's, BMW's, Etc. and nothing customers all walking away pleased. John has been pretty transparent on labor and his explanation to fix the problem. They promptly refunded my money and then two weeks later, I noticed that my right front directional light was not working. I got a quote of $50 from another shop and when I brought it in to Bloomfield Auto Body, they immediately replaced the bulb, refastened my front bumper in a temporary fix until I could afford to get it properly fixed and then refused to charge me. This was human kindness and compassion to the nth degree.. and in a business context yet when those qualities seem to be lacking on a purely human level. They seemed nice but using the car for 100 miles was unnecessary especially if the repair was only for body work.
