I got a quote of $50 from another shop and when I brought it in to Bloomfield Auto Body, they immediately replaced the bulb, refastened my front bumper in a temporary fix until I could afford to get it properly fixed and then refused to charge me. This was human kindness and compassion to the nth degree.. and in a business context yet when those qualities seem to be lacking on a purely human level. Was told we would get the car back in two weeks. Car did not come back until after Christmas, in which about 100 miles were added on the odometer. The front cup holder was left with full of change (assuming for tolls) as well as an open water jug in the back seat. The back seats came back dirty as well as the cup holders in the rear center. Car is brand new and was used at their leisure during the holidays. Will not recommend or go back here. They seemed nice but using the car for 100 miles was unnecessary especially if the repair was only for body work.

That makes it easier when I have to drive again because i can just head out without the encumbrance of turning my head to the right then to the left to make sure the path is clear to exit when next I drive. So, nose facing outward I sprung the door to my hatchback up, loaded a case of water into the trunk, got into my car and exiting the garage, a loud crushing noise followed by tinkling noises occurred! I had neglected to shut the trunk door and the hatchback was mangled on the garage slide. Having used Clairmont Autobody, Inc , 2 Bloomfield ave before (a teenager rear ended me and I had to pay my own damages) and, I was thoroughly satisfied, especially with the rapidity and perfection of the repair. So, crushed glass and all, I drove to there once again but this time, I did NOT rent a car although I wanted to but Social Security doesn't cover car rentals. I got my car back yesterday and the job was beautifully done within 48 hours. I commend them too for the respect and business manner in dealing with me. I hope NOT to see them again in this life and even if I need to wait longer to get my auto's bodywork done, that's where I will go.
