Despite Lincoln detailing what the issue was and me requesting a quote for that specific service, they insisted to run their own diagnostic and believed it wasn't what Lincoln said it was. They partially fixed what Lincoln said the problem was and said that would fix the issue but insisted i also fixed other problems unrelated as well. I received the vehicle back and the main issue still existed. My car intermittently did not start and would shut off for hours randomly when out as it was happening prior to bringing the car to them. I took the car to another mechanic who fixed exactly what Lincoln originally said was the problem and now the car works perfectly again without any issues. Their prices were very high compared to other shops in the area.

Overall super informative and really great customer service! I think we'll be coming back here for service instead of overpriced Honda dealerships.

Got a flat tire thanks to the potholes in Lyndhurst on Polito. Had to wait 15 or so minutes for the tow truck, and it took another 5 minutes to get to the location. Get there and the auto body shop portion was closed. Talked to the gas station attendant and he said that he's not affiliated, and that I could call the mechanic. Did so, he came back, agreed to leave car there overnight because blow-out was so bad, it involved having to get new tires instead of a simple patch job. Rich (the mechanic) said no problem, that he can replace the tires the next day and have it ready. Great, I think! Rich calls next day and his estimate was spot-on: $290 for two new tires, parts, labor, and taxes. Oh, but that I need to pay in CASH because his credit card machine is broken. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT LAST NIGHT?! 0-stars for terrible communication, 5-stars for quality work...averages out to 3-stars.

But friends and family, whose opinions I value, kept mentioning TJA so I called one Monday, dropped it off that Friday morning and was driving it home Friday night at dinnertime. The shop (just a stone's throw from a really busy intersection) might not be much to look at but you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place in town. Ridiculously decent parts and labor costs. Everyone I dealt with couldn't have been nicer to explain what's going on and the owner being really clear about what needs to be done, what wasn't as urgent to be replaced/fixed, etc. It's been a long while since my car has felt this smooth while on the road (especially when you're living in Jersey - the Pothole Capital of America) and both myself and my wallet are happy we came here. (Will my Honda really be able to make it to 300K miles like the owner said? Fingers crossed...)
