The shop (just a stone's throw from a really busy intersection) might not be much to look at but you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place in town. Ridiculously decent parts and labor costs. Everyone I dealt with couldn't have been nicer to explain what's going on and the owner being really clear about what needs to be done, what wasn't as urgent to be replaced/fixed, etc. It's been a long while since my car has felt this smooth while on the road (especially when you're living in Jersey - the Pothole Capital of America) and both myself and my wallet are happy we came here. It isn't fancy or impressive to look at but it is owned by a guy who is an old school grease monkey who loves cars, trucks and tools. Kevin clearly loves what he does and takes pride in it. He has become a family friend and he has a loyal local following because he is the real deal. He knows his stuff and will happily answer your questions. If he doesn't handle what you need done he knows just who you need to see. A referral from Kevin to another business is solid. He has never steered us wrong. No gas, no bodega, just a mechanic. He'll fix what's wrong and stand behind his work without nickle and diming you to death. He'll tell you if it something he's not equipped to handle and recommend somebody who is. You really can't ask for more in a mechanic!
