I brought my BMW Z3 1998 to Manhattan Collision the day I hit a trailer hitch from the back of an…read moreSUV. Nothing happened to the SUV but my car turned out to be badly damaged in the front part once the hood was opened. Practically everything needed to be replaced. The insurance company deemed it to be a total loss, meaning the value of the car is less than the cost of the repairs. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Jonathan. He was honest enough to advice me not to repair the car and just accept whatever the insurance will give me as a total loss. I really wanted to keep the car and willing to pay him additional to whatever the insurance will give me, but he said it is not worth it because I never know what else could be wrong during the repair process. I don't know any person in the auto repair business who will offer such advise. I had many past experiences with auto body and repair shops who will convince me otherwise. After all, they would want the business. I really appreciate his honesty to my benefit and not his business. Thank you Jonathan! This is why you are in business for 29 years! All the best... Susana

My work vehicle was hit while parked in jersey city and my fleet company brought my car to…read moreManhattan Collision. Omar from Manhattan collision made my experience amazing. Omar was so flexible in making himself available to accommodate me which was extremely helpful. He helped me carry my trunk full of work materials from my vehicle to my rental, which was above and beyond. He was always so patient even when I was upset at my fleet company for bringing my car to a repair facility outside of NJ ( which had nothing to do with him or Manhattan Collision). I had to bring in my vehicle back in for an internal noise that you could only hear at high speeds, I brought my vehicle back and the repairs were done within a day. The customer service was over the top!!!! He was also amazing at ensuring my vehicle was 100% and to my satisfaction. My vehicle was repaired back to its original condition and in a timely fashion. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the repairs and service Omar and Manhattan Collision provided and i am happy that my fleet company chose Manhattan collision to repair my car.

Update: After I left the previous comment I've had more surprises pop up from damage that was done…read moreto my car. My car is a 13 year old car, but it didn't have a red interior that was "sun damaged" when dropped off. My driver seat didn't break because it was a 2010 car. I never dropped the car off with a broken driver seat . FYI In order to adjust the seats you touch the buttons on the door not the chair itself. This would be known to techs that work on Mercedes regularly. When you mentioned that I never came in for a smoke smell, of course I didn't. When I mentioned the smoke smell you told me "oh that's a problem". Yet it wasn't even addressed. That's real safe. I also didn't come in for all the problems that were created to my car like a slow start up when originally my car had a strong start up prior to being worked on. My fuel gauge was also working and I was able to tell how much gas I had in my tank. After you replaced my fuel pump I was losing a significant amount of gas which was displayed by the gas gauge and I called you on my drive to work to complain about the problem. That same day I smelled the smoke smell and my car almost didn't start up to get back home. I had just gotten my car from you the day prior. I dropped off my car for you to " fix the fuel gauge" and now the problem was worse than the second time. How does my car get worse every time it gets worked on at your shop. When someone fixes something it's supposed to fix the problem not create new ones that weren't there upon drop off. Go ahead tell me that it's all because it's a 2010 car. My car was in great shape and running great prior to being dropped off and worked on at your shop. Since my last previous review my car now sounds like something is loose when you start it up. As each day unfolds day by day new problems pop up after you guys worked on it. I recommend you get techs who are skilled in Mercedes Benz before they work on them, you're only damaging them if not. The amount of ways that all of this has ruined my life is in more ways than I care to write about on here.
