I hired Johnny on the Move Mobile Dent Repair. After sending him clear photos of the bumper damage,…read morehe quoted me $500 and said it would take 1.5-2 hours. When he arrived, he suddenly claimed the job was "much bigger" than he thought and raised the price to $800, saying he originally believed it was only a 30‑minute job -- even though his quote already said 1.5-2 hours. He was polite and smooth about it, and said I didn't have to go through with the repair, but realistically, once someone has driven to your home, you feel stuck. I agreed, and the final repair was good. No issues with the workmanship. My issue is the honesty. The story changed multiple times, and the price jumped significantly despite him having photos beforehand. The work quality is solid, but the experience felt manipulative. Future customers should be aware of this.

I will share updates on the quality over time. For now, thank you, Jimmy. My Car's Problem: The driver's side was hit near the tire. The impact was small but it caused the door to sit out of alignment, which led to airflow and noise in the cabin. The plastic trim near the tire lifted, and there were dents, scratches, and paint chips. Jimmy assured me that he could get the repair very close to perfect. I will continue to update this review as I drive the car and see how the work holds up. Here is a breakdown of my experience so far: * This is a mobile repair service based out of NYC. Estimates are done over the phone after you send in photos. Make sure to send clear pictures. Jimmy can identify most issues as long as the images are detailed. * Jimmy was kind, energetic, and easy to communicate with. He responded quickly, sent progress photos, and even FaceTimed me with updates, which I really appreciated. * He also addressed an issue I did not initially realize was connected to the impact. There was a gap when closing the passenger door that created wind and noise inside the cabin. He fixed it, and so far the noise and airflow are gone. Overall, based on the price and convenience, I would recommend checking out On the Spot. To avoid any surprises, make sure to communicate clearly with Jimmy so you receive an accurate estimate up front. The only challenge we ran into was that the final work required more time and effort than what was originally quoted. If you have dents or scratches and need a fast solution, this is a good option.
