Our server was a delightful, sweet and knowledgeable young lady named Sanaya! Talk about personality. If you do not tip her 20% or more, you have no soul. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Our meals were superb. Very busy Saturday morning with lines waiting to be seated. I counted 22 packages waiting for either call in orders or takeout orders.I was amazed at the organization of the food service. I was at the counter so I observed what could have been chaos but instead was hot food, delicious looking served with efficiency and smiles. I applaud all the servers and kitchen staff. Had a great experience at Denny's on Akers tonight. The food was delicious. Our server, Yessenia went above & beyond for us! She was very friendly, kind & perfect customer service! She made sure we had everything we needed & even made sure I had extra creamer for my coffee! It's nice to see such friendly service & everyone seemed to enjoy their job. Over the years I have at times not dined at Denny's just because I know the service would be bad. I was pleasantly surprised today. I did not get served right away after I was sit although I had several people tell me the Waters's name and she would be right with me. This might surprise some considering its Denny's. However, best experience. Went here at 830pm with my littles while my kitchen was being worked on. Anyway, our waitress Taylor R I believe was her name was AMAZING! I couldn't decide what I wanted and she suggested the bourbon chicken skillet. It was SO delicious! I was completely satisfied. She was always making sure we were well taken care of yet wasn't overbearing. Kept hot coffee in my cup. My son ordered breakfast and loved it. Hot, cooked to order. Great experience. You know I've never really have a complaint about this specific Denny's. There always very quick and get your orders right every time. Even if you come on a holiday or their super busy they always make it a habit of not showing it. They always seat you right away with little to no wait and have your drink order taken right away. These people are so unorganized it's ridiculous I ordered my order online they said 20 minutes when I got there my order was sitting on the counter they still had me wait for another 10 minutes just for me to remind them I ordered only to have them bring me a bag of cold food that was sitting the counter since I arrived. Went to dinner tonight. Order taken, all good. Dinner shows up, waitress dropping off our dinner says she will be right back with syrup, we ask for extra napkins, no problem. NEVER saw her again. While waiting, I notice, you know, I never got my dinner salad. We are finally able to waive down our waiter Adam B. We ask for syrup, he gets it for us. I Asked if I was supposed to get salad. This was by far the best Denny's I have ever been to! Right from the beginning, we were greeted by Yessenia, the hostess, and had an awesome interaction, where she kindly suggested their new menu items, including the new steak bowl and some sandwiches. We ended up getting the steak bowl and the boyfriend said it was a hit! The banana pancakes that I got were delicious and the eggs, cooked to gooey perfection! The waitress was kind, attentive, and great at her job. She even stopped us to give us our food we almost left. This place was hopping on a Monday! The two of us were seated pretty quickly. Our server, Korina, was attentive and polite: a true server! The coffee was better than I remembered; lots better than most restaurant chains. We love good coffee! We both ordered from the 55+ menu, which usually means a lighter fare but a two-egg omelet with all the trimmings was the perfect amount and the meal included hash-browns and a bread item.
