We were on our way to Rochester from visiting a friend and met another friend for lunch on our way through. Bri's service was great. She is friendly and efficient. We were seated right away. The menu was typical Denny's. I had their Classic Benny - got it hot, made just right, and the right portion size. My wife had the Cobb Salad, dressing on the side. Just the right size. Our friend had a burger. Looked good. I recommend this Denny's. It's certainly better that the cumulative stars suggest.

Look at my crepe it was drowning in canned strawberry juice!

I came to my local Denny's and the first interaction I had was them arguing on who was going to me and my little family to sit us. We finally get seated and we order our food we waited about 20 minutes for our appetizer which was mozzarella sticks and the reason we got them so late is because THEY FORGOT OUR APPETIZER! Then after 10 minutes our food comes out and I order a crepe and omelette with bacon and veggies. My food come completely wrong my omelette had no eggs. Then I wanted a remake there was a whole lot of attitude so I decline for the remake because the chefs in the back were upset for the remake. So to conclude this it was very bad service!!

    Heaven help you

Recently planned a get together with some former coworkers. Needed a place to meet up. When I…read moregoogled, "good cheap eats in Schenectady," the 20 North Broadway Tavern topped the short list. Done. It was an instant hit. I wanted the pastrami sandwich pictured on the website. Turns out, it was every bit as good as it looked. Probably the best I've had in the Capital Region. I think it came with coleslaw but they let me switch it for a small salad. The beer was cold. The server/ bartender was both friendly and efficient. The food came up relatively quickly. I was relieved and delighted. The tavern has just the right look. It's cute from the outside with nice signage. Inside, the lighting is dim-- especially at night--with the feel of a cool dive bar. If you want a more festive setting during the summer, there's outdoor seating complete with hanging string lights. That actually looked very inviting but my friends chose to stay indoors due to the threat of rain. As we prepared to leave, my friends were wondering why they hadn't been to the tavern before. One thing for sure is that we'll be back for more "good cheap eats" and great beer.

If you go there before 5 PM you will have to pay for parking across the street in the municipal lot which is not too expensive. Cute place seemed like nice people working there. We would go back for the wings.

The Hostess was SUPER friendly and she never stopped working - cleaning tables and checking with guests to be sure everything was satisfactory. The waiter, Gregg, was very attentive and friendly. He did a great job The food was terrific! I ordered Pasta Bolognese and it was absolutely the best I have ever had. Magnificent sauce. My wife ordered "street tacos" and they were great. stuffed with wonderful ingredients - including shrimp. This trip as a perfect experience and we shall return. (sorry the pasta photo is not great. It looked so good I ate quite a bit before I remembered to take a photo)

I've been to Innovo Kitchen in Latham several times over the years and I've enjoyed it every time. They have a unique menu that changes periodically, but I always find something that catches my eye. The interior has an industrial feel which I like, with a lot of exposed brick. The tables are made from old bowling lane wood, which is a really cool touch. When you walk in there is also a bowling pin displayed in a glass case. I remember there being a bowling alley somewhere in that plaza when I was a kid, so it seems likely the building has some history tied to that. The tables are also nice and large, which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Monte Cristo burger which is described as battered Buckley's Bread sourdough, a 6 oz special grind burger, Taylor pork roll, Swiss, and Twin Leaf Farms maple aioli. It was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the hint of maple syrup flavor on the burger. The crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. Another person in our party ordered the White Chicken Parmesan, described as a crisp chicken cutlet topped with ricotta and garlic spinach and fresh mozzarella, with garlic parmesan cream and lumache pasta. They said it was delicious. Someone else had the Crispy Skin Salmon and enjoyed that as well. A child at our table ordered macaroni with red sauce. The portion was surprisingly large and they liked it, which is impressive because they are particularly finicky. For dessert we ordered something we've had here several times before, the peanut butter mud pie. It's basically ice cream in pie form with an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate fudge. It's very tasty and also a generous portion. At the end of your meal they also offer everyone at the table a tasty piece of gourmet chocolate. One thing that really stood out tonight was the attentiveness of the management. Two different managers stopped by our table at different times to check and make sure everything was good. I recognized one of them because I've seen him there before and he always seems to make a point of checking in with guests. The other person had seated us so I initially thought she was the hostess, but after she stopped by during the meal I asked if she was a manager and she confirmed that she was. I mentioned that I was impressed that two different managers had checked on us, and that every time I've dined there a manager has stopped by to make sure everything was good. I thanked her and told her it was appreciated. During the summer and fall they also have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. On cooler nights they have heaters and a fireplace which makes it a great place to sit outside. I will definitely return here again in the future. 5 stars

For appetizers, we ordered the oysters and burrata and prosciutto toast. I did not try the oysters but the others said they were good. I would order the toast again. For my entree I ordered the steak frites. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to medium rare. Had a lovely crust on it. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding with salted caramel gelato, burnt basque cheesecake and pear fritters. All three were delicious but the bread pudding was the standout. I highly recommend ordering it. Also have to mention our server Frank who was lovely and very attentive. We had a lot of questions, if there was something he didn't know he was very quick to find out the answer and was very thorough.

There is a parking lot behind the restaurant with free parking after 5. The menu reads exciting and includes a lot of fun and modern ingredients, the space is bright and inviting and we had great service. The cocktail menu was small and uninspired, but we enjoyed a few cocktails. My favorite of the night was a dirty martini with house stuffed blue cheese olives. Their aviation inspired cocktail called Flight 99 was okay, but left me wanting an aviation. We decided to get a few appetizers the share over some cocktails and didn't order any entrees. We started with the Shrimp Ceviche and the Foie Gras Torchon. Both plates arrived and the presentation left a lot to be desired. The shrimp ceviche was good but the baby corn and sweet potato were weird. It didn't belong at all. I don't know if it is traditional or what but it just took up space, made the presentation uninviting and added nothing to the dish. The chips were great though and the shrimp were large and of great quality. The Foie gras torchon was like a chilled pate, it was alright. 4 tiny slices of toast was not enough for the plate, the green strawberry compote was a good pairing, the dressed greens were fine but again, didn't add much to the dish. We heard the special of soft shell crab and wanted to order it. For the second round, we ordered the bone marrow and soft shell crab. The bone marrow was maybe 3 bites, the bones were very dry and didn't have much marrow to scrape so that was disappointing. The soft shell crab was a large portion and was very good and treat to have during the season. However, it was $65. Maybe our fault for not asking but that price is obscene for that dish. It was soft shell crab over spinach. We were pretty full and ended the meal with bread pudding which was fine. Our bill before tip was $280 for 4 appetizers, 6 cocktails and a dessert. I was sticker shocked. I really regret not asking the price on the soft shell crab. The food did not live up to the hype at all and I don't think I would return based on the quality and prices.
