We came here for the breakfast nostalgia. This is probably the nicest Denny's I've been to. I actually liked my salted caramel cold brew probably because it was pretty sweet and had a lot of caramel lol. The prices were high for the quality you're getting in my opinion. The pancakes were fluffy and had a good buttery taste to them. They came out later than expected. I can always count on the hash browns! These were good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My eggs didn't came out as hot as I had expected. They were kinda warm. The sausage tasted like that classic flavor at first but then I didn't really like the flavor as I kept chewing. I also got the slice of ham and it was the same thing - tasted good at first then I didn't like the evolution of the flavor. read more

The staff at this location are fantastic. You feel welcome from the moment you arrive. We come here regularly and I'm always impressed at how much pride the team seem to take in this location. It's a very pleasant waiting area with great easy parking. The food is always consistent and nicely done. Spacious patio seating, and was able to get a table right away. Service was good, and they refilled our drinks a couple times without asking. All the food was standard to Denny's and was fresh. I feel like the sausage links have shrunk over the years, but it was still tasty. My favorite are the choconana pancakes. So I was having a very rough day and night looking for some breakfast at 7:30pm. Bianca was extremely helpful, attentive, accommodating, and professional. I told her I would leave a positive review from the QR on the receipt but, lost it throughout the night. Friendly and adhering Max the manager helped to advise that I post here due to my unfortunate situation. The lumberjack slam was absolutely amazing, eggs perfectly fried, bacon crispy, sausages snapped perfectly, and the hash browns were crispy on the outside while steamy on the inside. I have been going to this Denny's for MANY yrs. Always looking forward to their holiday turkey meal. Unfortunately, last yr. & especially today was a total disappointment. I was served a couple of pieces (not slices) of dry leathery turkey which was smothered in gravy as to conceal the dryness but tough & dry when turned over. I returned it stating I'd been served beef jerky. After another long wait I was served another plate. Somewhat better in the sense that the pieces of turkey had fewer dry patches. Broccoli was cold. total dissapointment, even more so as I now realize the slice of pumpkin pie is no longer included. I'm not one to complain. However, pie aside How Pathetic! read more

My son and I have been coming here for a few years. It truly feels like a family owned and operated location. The staff work so well together and remember us every time. If you want to see a Salma Hayek look alike come in the morning and ask for Sandra. She's so sweet. Also Luz the manager, she's so friendly and always gives love and attention to the kiddos. They are open from 6 to Midnight every day. This is my go to Denny's restaurant because of the customer service. The parking is close to building with handicap parking in front. They also do pickup orders and have dedicated parking for those. You have to wait to be seated but there was no wait when I went. I was seated right away. The table was very clean and well organized. The greaters and servers were very kind. The music is festive and not over powering. Its Christmas time. There is a light humm from the diners and light clanking of utensils. There were a lot of people but there was still plenty of seating. My order was taken within three minutes of sitting. I already knew what i wanted. The Everyday Slam with French toast, 2 slices of bacon, 2 eggs over medium. Breakfast is served all day. The French toast was fluffy with a hint of vanilla. It was cold unfortunately but still delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon was cooked well. I would have liked a little more crispy but it was still good. It only took 10min for the food to come out which was fast considering the volume of diners. At Denny's when you're finished eating you have to take the receipt to the front cashier to pay for your food. Then go back to your table to give you tip if you're paying cash. read more

I enjoy Denny's, but I have never been to a Denny's like the one on 17th. The owners have to be so happy with the business they do. I contribute this to the entire staff! From the manager Luz two waitresses like Sandra, the bus boys and the chef. It is always an absolute pleasure to go here to eat. It is always busy their service is beyond the best! Everyone is to be commanded for the teamwork and Luz is always busy. She jumps right in and helps her staff and does whatever she needs to make sure everyone gets great service and her staff have the help they need.. amazing job to your staff. I just moved here from Arizona a few months ago and honestly this place been feeling like home. The bathrooms are always super clean and the whole restaurant just feels welcoming. My favorite hostess Darla wasn't working today, but every server here is always kind and friendly. Giovanni helped us this morning and he was awesome kept our coffee hot and checked in on us a lot. And you have to remember, I am not an aficionado of great expensive food, so diner food to me is the best. Normally what I would get here are pancakes or sometimes the veggie omelet. Those two things were very good when I love the hash browns here. I order takeout, because takeout is how I usually do it since covid, and I haven't really had a friend to go with me to eat lately. But I eat with such odd hours and in such an odd way that that would probably not be practical. The veggie burger at Denny's was not good at all. As I said I enjoy their other food.I like that very much but the veggie burger patty did not taste like much.And the burger itself was not good.So I rank it 5 -6.
