Normally, we order from here because we love the bourbon burgers, but this time we got them called to place the order ahead of time pick them up. our burger bread is soggy and they didn't even grill the onions like I asked when I called the assistant manager said that we have to physically bring the burgers in to get a refund. The receipt is not sufficient enough apparently so I guess we're not gonna be going back there anymore. I don't know what happened. The cook was having a bad day, but they really messed up our burgers and it's very disappointing to get home and it's all soggy especially when it cost so much for each burger $30 so total was $72 for three meals.. so the assistant manager didn't care to help or anything and they lost customers over this . A lot could improve here. My nephew wanted Denny's after his graduation. Got here at 9:30 ordered food as two families got sat down by us in the same room. Both those families got served as we all waited an hour and a half and still nothing. We all got up and left. Do better at keeping track of who comes in and keep it in order. UPDATE: hoping against hope I went back (because it's next door to the hotel and it was cold). It is so apparent that these nice servers are not being trained properly. It's an affront to the clientele and and a goddamned shame to these nice, well-meaning, and hard working servers. The manager/owner of this place clearly is not interested in service and takes the customers for granted (judging from my experience tonight and the reviews). The trainee server was quite sweet but had a hard time comprehending that I preferred my soup before the entree - not after/or with it. The guy that was her senior/trainer (?) couldn't care less. Service is great from the waiters but manager in charge crystal very rude not even doing anything but standing by the cashier and looking around. It was super busy with a lot of people and she was whispering but getting a waiter in trouble trying not to let other customers hear what she was telling him but I heard what she was saying. Didn't like that at all. He was literally working going back and forth and all she was doing was standing doing nothing. Why not help a little if you know your store is busy. Be a team. Well, Denny was always a fun place to go when I was a kid and then it was a great place to bring my kids when they were younger, but as time goes by Denny's seems to lose quality in their food and it just doesn't seem as good or the same as before. as many times as they come up with a new item or change the menu it's just the same old Denny's it's kind of Mids.. i'm really sorry to give it 2 stars but 3 stars would be too many. First impression, greeted with a smile when walking in, and the restaurant was very clean. It seems they may be popular for breakfast? As most of the menu was breakfast choices (which all looked delicious). I ordered a Cali Club Sandwich and my Mother a Cheeseburger. My sandwich was great. HOT fries and the meat and produce were fresh. My Mother said the Cheeseburger was 'Okay'. For the price, definitely somewhere to try. No complaints here. I hadn't been to a Denny's restaurant in years when we stopped on our drive from the Bay Area to Yosemite. The restaurant has the traditional Denny's dinner vibe with a large counter, bright decorative lights, and a parachuting pancake. I wanted to try out a breakfast chain like this one since I have mostly enjoyed independent mom and pop breakfast spots that offers great food value and service for your money. It seems enticing at first to find the menu so nice and delicious when you look at it but everything started to fall apart after my server Sonia left and told her supervisor or colleague to take over. That being said there is no one but myself in their establishment at this time. I ordered one of the more expensive dinner classic on the menu which is the t bone steak. I generally try something uncommon if not something very doable by the kitchen that any food establishment can do. The meat is not a fresh cut nor it has a label of prime cut or premium cut etc but I wanted to try it because it seems fitting for a late diner spot. I asked for coffee and water to begin my tasting. Coffee came but no water. When I placed my order and again ask for water in Spanish so maybe they can accept that. She understood what I was asking afterwards. Then I tried their t bone steak at a price point of $16.00 and it was below average. Edible but below average from many independent breakfast spots around. corn and fries that came from a can and a frozen bag were ok. The worst part of the experience was not the food, it's after my server Sonia left and the supervisor took over. She never introduced herself rather continues to chat with her colleague in Spanish while I waited about 20 mins after finishing my meal if she will even bother to ask me how I am doing ? She never did. In the service and hospitality industry, I hope service matters and I am not asking for kindness or extra accommodations I simply wanted some more coffee and water which she never even ask me. Now I also understand short staffing is an issue in any industry but when I am the only one in the place and you have five employees on staff right there not one of them ask if I'm doing ok is beyond unacceptable. After 20 mins of waiting for the supervisor to come I went to her to pay because it's not even worth waiting for an hour just to get her attention. She asked me how was everything and I told her kindly that I wanted more coffee. She then said I can get you one to go. I kindly decline since there is no point of coming back to this establishment any longer after this horrible experience. I did tip my previous server Sonia more than 20% which the total with tip came out to be around $29 and some change. Listen I am not trying to encourage people on this bad business concept or the lack of staffing but I am unclear about the proper training to service clients and customers with a bit more appreciation. I have visited waffle shop, my garden cafe, velvet grille, black bear diner, la santaneca, etc. and I have never experienced the lack of customer relation as what this establishment has. I do hope your experience will be different than mine and I do hope there is more accountability in the business aspect to help attract more clients and customers. Even despite the ac difficulties this past summer when half the ac was broken the staff accommodated us by opening the meeting room where the ac worked better to keep us cool. She was polite, professional, and she also helped bring out a to-go refill iced-tea to me outside by my car, as I needed to get to the car, as my son had run outside. We live about a mile from this Denny's location, and have been going there weekly for twenty years. While I have been to several Denny's in many cities and states in the past, and have no particularly bad stories about any of the others, I find this one to be unique and feel lucky it's our neighborhood store. While it's very, very clean, and comfortable, and all the physical things you'd want in a Denny's, it's the people who set it apart. They've had remarkable luck with managers over the years, and the current one is awesome. The server turnover is very slow - we've known some for a decade - and in the service industry that most certainly means the manager respects her staff and vice versa. That makes for a very welcoming environment, good service, and all the rest. I'd say that our neighborhood Denny's is like family, but to tell the truth I like them better than most of my family. read more

i ordered a curbside for just a kids meal they took over an hour. I called the store they said it was gonna be taken out. I waited another 45 minutes. I didn't want to get out the car i had of just got out of bed. There was no other option but to go inside considering i waited way too long for a kids meal. my food was sitting on the counter cold. i asked for a refund and they said it had to be online. I placed my order at 8:35 and left unsatisfied with no food, no money back, and a waste of time. i ended up leaving at 9:50 with nothing.
