First of all the booth my 54 year old son and myself were given to sit at was inordinately small. Getting into it was a problem and getting out I almost fell on the floor until a waitress told us we could move the table as it pivoted. Sorry, crap design. Second, two omelets with coffee, $43.00 dollars. More expensive than most breakfast places in Prescott. Food was good but not any better than other places with better accommodations, and prices. It is a typical Denny's, food is fine. Short staffed 90% of the time and it makes me uncomfortable for the workers who are always so busy.

Ordered at 120ish, the app tracker said it was ready at 1:57 and was being bagged up...so I left work clocking out for my 30 minute lunch to "pickup" not only my food but another nurses as well. Tell me why it wasn't even starred on the griddle until I walked in through the door? I don't get it...what's the point of the app and tracking my order? What was supposed to be more than 5 minutes of enjoying my food is now just that. I understand wanting to give customers fresh food but come on man. On top of that no utensils, no syrup for my obvious order of pancakes, just...wow...the cook looked like he didn't even want to be there, the lady looked like she was frustrated. I'm disappointed. That tip was generous as well. If anything I want my tip back. Ridiculous. Eating dry a** pancakes. Smdh. read more

Our party of 5 visited Denny's on Gail Gardner Way in Prescott about 8:00 pm on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was a perfect spot for our group looking for an evening snack and some conversation. The restaurant was not terribly busy at that time of day with a just few groups like ourselves. We were immediately seated at our table and waited on by Cameron, a very pleasant and attentive young man. One in our party was on medication that causes her to be uncomfortably cold just about everywhere, and after asking Cameron for assistance he immediately sought the help of the manager who offered her the use of his own jacket to keep warm. The manager stayed and chatted for a few minutes and was very pleasant and as eager to help as Cameron. Within a few minutes Cameron returned with a complimentary small dish of mashed potatoes and gravy to warm up our chilled friend. Soon after, Cameron returned with our beverages and took our food orders. My wife and I decided to split a milkshake as we had eaten dinner earlier in the evening, but the rest of our party ordered a patty melt for one guest and the other two split a cheese burger meal. After a short wait of 10 to 15 minutes Cameron returned with our milkshake which he considerately split into two glasses (we were sharing the shake). Cameron also brought an extra plate for the two other guests splitting the cheeseburger dinner. Our milkshake was superb and I believe it was likely hand made to order. Real strawberries and whipped cream on top! Remember how milkshakes used to taste before they all came out of a special machine? Our friends were all favorably impressed with their food preparation, quality and taste. I must say that I was very impressed by this Denny's restaurant and even more impressed by the service we received from Cameron and his manager. Both went "above and beyond" making us feel welcome and comfortable. Very attentive, professional, and considerate. Overall I would say that this Denny's is an unexpected "hidden gem" of a restaurant. I would not hesitate in the least to visit anytime for a meal or a snack. Probably the best Denny's experience we have ever had, and thankfully, we live here and can return whenever we want to. For the service we received from Cameron and the restaurant manager whose name I believe was Chakri, I give 5 stars. For the milkshake we received, 4 1/2 stars. And because our friends seemed very happy with their meals I would give 4 stars. So overall I would say 4 1/2 stars for this restaurant. Yelp's rating system does not allow me to give partial star ratings so I rate it as a solid 4 stars overall. read more

Ok if any of you have ever visited a Denny's after midnight then you know it can get a bit interesting to say the least. As I approached the main entrance I was greeted by a couple of unsavory characters. Mumbling something but all I got out of it was "brother". I went in and was sat down by the waitress that was close to where the two gentlemen from the entrance were previously camped. The two came back in and proceeded to negotiate the price of their meals. The waitress was visibly aggravated and threatened to call the cops stating that they need to leave because they've been there all day. After a few minutes another lady not sure if she worked there or not joined in trying to help the waitress with the negotiations. At this point I've been sitting there waiting to order for more than 10 minutes. Mind you I didn't come here for this nonsense. The waitress finally came to me shaking her head and took my order. I ordered a patty melt with onion rings on the side. The two boobs kept going on and on with the waitress and I was beginning to think that this might be some kind of skit for late night entertainment. As time went on the waitress threatened to call the cops and things seemed to be getting a bit more serious. I heard the cook yell to the waitress how do you make a patty melt? I'm thinking "sheesh he hasn't even started my food yet"? One of the aggregators gets up and starts telling the cook how to make it telling him "you've got to put lots of mushrooms in it" Uh....no, no you don't sir I'm thinking. I spoke up and told the cook to grill some onions and don't put any mushrooms on it please. The guy turns to me and says well I put mushrooms on mine and stumbled to the restroom. After more time passed my food finally came out about 30 minutes later and guess what?! This fuckin sandwich was loaded with mushrooms and not one grilled onion!! I got up and proceeded to leave. I told the waitress that I didn't eat my whatever it was and she had the nerve to throw me shade stating "well we make a special sandwich for you that is no on the menu but I'll take it off I guess"! Well thank you lady thanks for doing something right. I can see why you are having all these problems. Long story short this place sucks and no one knows what they are doing. Two stars only for the Laurel and Hardy show, now that I think of it they where probably just two customers waiting to get their order right. read more

Fast, courteous service by Daniel N. Steak and eggs are a classic breakfast. Especially enjoyed my ice tea was constantly refilled.

Prices are outrageous and the food presentation is terrible. I quit going out to eat because of the pricing.

The worst breakfast ever ordered the scramble with hash browns. The eggs were from a powder egg mix and the hash browns were so greasy with taste of a dirty grill. To top it off everything was cold there were only two tables at the time. Coffee was stale. My friend's order was cold his French toast was ok but cold his bacon was salty. Don't let the menu's pictures fool you. Will never go back. The price was 50.00 . McDonald's is by far better than this Dennys but don't eat there. Remodel looks nice but that's it! read more
