My wife and I came in after a long 6 frustrating hours at the Emergency Hospital, we went into get some food for a very late night dinner, and Adam made our night. He had very good vibes and made sure to check on us frequently and kept our waters topped, with good company and conversation. Very well deserved employee for these hours. I finally got to the Denny's on Gail Gardner since their remodel. Like others, I live fairly close to the restaurant but usually frequent the Denny's in Prescott Valley. It just seems like a better run store and worth the extra drive. I went in by myself and was seated by what looked like a very young lady but any concerns about inexperience were immediately squashed by her friendliness and professionalism. She really did a wonderful job, it's not often I tip more than my check, but felt she earned it. The Food came out quickly, and was just as I remember all my life. I will definitely be back soon. Where should I start... So we ordered Uber and the bag she dropped off had half our food in it. I called the manager and she pretty much told me rudely to contact Uber. It was Denny's responsibility to get it right, not Ubers. They make the $60 worth of food I ordered. She was super rude and didn't apologize at all, gave me a total attitude. The food we did get was absolutely disgusting, the chicken was RAW. Thank god I pulled it apart before my son ate it and got sick. This restaurant is absolutely disgusting. I go to Dennys all the time. The service is pleasant fast efficient. I always can rely on the food being delicious.

I have to take a moment to compliment the Denny's Prescott location. Due to a severe health condition, I am homebound quite a bit, and sometimes I am too weak/sick to cook and my husband is too busy working and doesn't have time to cook either. We order to go from Denny's and 99.9% of the time our order is correct. There have been a few times when a minor item was forgotten (ex. sides of salsa, sides of sour cream, etc, so nothing horrible). The 2nd time it happened, we called to kindly ask about some forgotten side salsas and that we'd be by to pick it up... well let me tell you, saying the manager on duty (I believe his name is Rowan or Owen?) went above and beyond to make it right is an massive understatement. The level of customer service and genuine care and concern from him was not only refreshing, but it astounded us! I plan on finding a way to reach out to the corporate office, just so they know what a wonderful team they have at this location. From the employees answering the phone, the back of the house employees preparing quality food, to management making right small and completely understandable oversights, this location is a shining example of how corporate restaurants should run. Thank you again Prescott Denny's for always making our experience easy, friendly and delicious! I will definitely be contacting corporate to share our extremely positive experiences. We had a great breakfast in the newly remodeled Denny's in Prescott Az. I have to say our server was exceptional!! Her name was Kirsten. My husband ordered one of the "slam" breakfast and asked for a side of hash browns and she corrected his order to include hash browns that saved us about $10. I was thoroughly impressed from the moment I walked into the Gail Gartner Denny's! The quick, warm greeting, Toni's personality, and the cleanliness of the seating area and the restroom. Toni further impressed me with her friendly conversation before, during, and after my meal was ordered and served. I had the Super Bird with soup instead of fries. The soup came first, hot and delicious. Then, at almost the exact time I finished the soup, came this wonderful, mouthwatering sandwich! I couldn't wait to experience all the layers that made up the Super Bird. It was SUPER! I will certainly be coming back for more. I expect to eat breakfast there Wednesday morning, May 22nd, while waiting for my car to be repaired. I live in Paulden, a good 28 miles and 40 minutes away. This location has been slipping. A non-scientific poll of acquaintances supports my assessment. I came recently with a friend to claim his FREE BIRTHDAY GRAND SLAM breakfast. We both ordered coffee; I ordered a KETO snack of 1 egg ala carte. We each ordered a different cook on our egg(s)--the significance of which will become apparent shortly. Service was friendly but disjointed, with 2 different, experienced servers tag-teaming us. (Why?) Friend received an incomplete order. I, nothing. We pointed out the error on his order, and I just waited for my unescorted egg. The rest of his order was brought to us with a "here you go," sans an expected "I'm sorry about that." We asked for more coffee (we have to ask?) and since there was no mention of my egg, I waited some more. After another minute or so I flag down Server #2... "My egg???" was met with a "Let me go check..." Server deux returns, apologised, and explains the cooks had put my egg on my friend's plate! LOL! "Sorry" she said, "they are new back there." OMG... 'new' as in what... just fell off The Turnip Truck? Friend was wide-eyed and gape-mouthed as he took a second look at his yet untouched, single big white egg circle on his plate. Poking round uncovered 3 eggs in the homogeneous mass. Server had already run off, and we both laughed! How can you take a second order for a single egg, prepared differently, and mix it up in a standard combo? Poor Denny's! My lonely egg was brought quickly after that. The restaurant was not busy, there was plenty of staff. Floors were very dirty. Restroom was a complete mess. We never got our waters. No coffee refills unless requested. Food tasted OK. We got 1 free egg for our troubles. Haha! Today visit here is just coffee... I think I'll come back on my upcoming birthday and enjoy a free breakfast... and the circus. read more
