Great service today! Our server Jack deserves 5 stars. He checked in on us several times and brought everything we asked, extra napkins, creamer for our to-go-coffee and was very polite. Food and drink order was correct and tasty. The restaurant has the typical Denny's menu with varied items. We ordered from the 55+ breakfast menu which had great discounted items and received the military discount as well when our military vet paid. We love the interior design. It's beautiful. Go check out the photos of the Bay Area that are on the walls. Location is right next to the freeway and has plenty of disabled parking. 5 star service and prices. We will be back! read more

Loved it!! My sister and I were picking up our doordash order but the team was so welcoming, we just had to stay to dine in. The manager, Jerry, is the absolute best. He made our Friday morning so positive and cheerful. I highly recommend this place to everyone. We tried tipping him for his amazing service and hospitality, but he donated it for cancer research. I went to this new location for lunch today. I was seated immediately, and the server asked what I wanted to drink. She took my order, and the cashier stopped by and asked if I had been helped. Then the manager stopped by, and asked if I wanted another ice tea. He told me my order would be out shortly, and it was. The server asked if everything was correct with my order. Then I was brought another ice tea. A third employee asked if everything was ok. Everyone was friendly, the service was fast, the order was correct, and they made sure I was satisfied. clean new, warm dennys. but this waitress had such an attitude. i took my mom for breakfast and i didn't have na appetite, i didn't order anything. the round after my mom order. i told her i'd just have water. she brought two waters to the table. one in front of my mom and one in front of me. then she proceeded to change her mind and pick up the water in front of me and put it back on her tray and give the water to the table next to me. why would u set two glasses of water down just to decide u wanna pick it back up and leave one glass instead. while my mom even asked if we could have another glass of water since there are two of us. she proceeded to ignore my mother. so i had to get up and walk to the cashier behind the counter to ask for a glass of water. she' also made snide remarks and comments because i had on sunglasses while asking if the coffee was included with the senior meal for my mom. she said "it's too much" i said "what the coffee?" she said "no , and then points at my sunglasses" i wear this cause i have sensitivity to bright lights due to migraines. i don't appreciate being u comfortable and feeling i'm intentionally being given bad service. i type this out while dealing with the tension and awkwardness between this server and i. update the people (3) next to me who came in way later than me. received their orders before my moms one breakfast order.. just walked out after that point. they couldn't even tell us where our order was. how funny. the lady at the cash register was friendly though but this experience is by far the worst. and i'm from oakland. so i know shit customer service and an attitude from someone when i see it. server name:"Genesis" manager didn't give last name. update: the employees of this dennys are harassing and sending me messages on my yelp after my review. read more

By far the worst Denny's my family and I have EVER been to. First of all, we walk in and one of the managers didn't acknowledge us...she looked at us and turned around and kept doing what she was doing. After being seated, we waited 20 mins to be asked what we wanted to drink, my husband and kids ordered OJ and the all we disgusted by the taste (it wasn't OJ) it had bubbles in it as if it was carbonated. It then took another half an hour to get our food...we get our food and the eggs, french toast, and pancakes were half cooked. The hash browns were burnt! The dry toast had garlic butter on it! Who does garlic butter on breakfast toast?! They forgot to send out some of the food. The server let the staff know that we were displeased and the cook sends out more garlic buttered french toast and half cooked hash browns. The service was so horrible and the quality of food was so bad. The couple sitting across from us said, they were having the same problem. Not to mention, we were not given silverware! So with that being said, Do Not Waste your time and money here. read more

Ate at Denny`s this morning for my 80th birthday breakfast the food was great the service was with waiter Javier (personality plus.) My first time eating inside the decor is breathtaking. I've been to this location quite a few times without problems. Tonight I go in and place an to go order with it looks like could have been a manager, no problem. I go outside and come back in 10mins later stood at counter for about 10mins before anyone even came up there. I know they're under staffed a tall, slim, Hispanic kid was not there. He walks up helps a customer who wants to pay for their meal, then proceed to seat another party. I say excuse me I'm awaiting my to go order that's sitting there can you hand it to me. He acts like he doesn't hear me, he comes back to the counter and proceeds to check out another customer now im pissed. I let him know I was standing there before any of these people. His response to me is I have to serve my customers. What the hell do you think I am? My food is bought, paid for and sitting under a light while you're assisting your customers who came in after me. I then tell him to cancel my order because I don't like his customer service, he says he don't know how lol, what I joke. I hate to go here with it but I was the only African American. When he walked up he didn't ask who was next, he didn't say I'll be right with you, he didn't say anything. Went there right when they re-opened and it was horrible. Service was horrible and it took close to an hour to get our food. Food was good when it finally arrived, so we decided to give it another chance in a few months, chalking the poor service to a lack of numbers for staff. Went maybe 3-4 months later it still stunk. This time there was maybe 5-6 customers. Took forever to be waited on, then finally when we ordered, it still took a while to get a cup of coffee. The table next two us was never bussed the entire time, so we had a mess right next to us for our vista during the visit. Waitress was working her ass off but was also stuck being the hostess it appeared. There looked to be a manager on duty, but he did nothing but stand on one spot. Never got a refill on our coffee, despite asking twice. Food was decent again, but this time we won't be back because the service sucked again. Did leave a $5 bill for the homeless guy that was sleeping in the booth by the restrooms. read more

Worst curb side pick up experience. They never picked up their phone and it looks like they don't even train them correctly on the procedure. I had to go inside and when I asked about my order, they had not even started it. Order said it would be ready at 1020 but did not receive it until 1030. They need to either fix their app or train their employees better. The food we received also was disappointing. Toast is soaked in butter and the presentation looked more like a scramble than a sandwich. Also asked for no american cheese due to dietary restrictions and they still included it. Very disappointing. Might as well make the trip to the Livermore or San Ramon Dennys. read more

We had a PG&E power outage this morning. The temperature today will be in the low 100s. We went to the new Pleasanton Denny's to cool off and have breakfast. Our server Xavier was from the old Denny's across the street. He is friendly, attentive, and efficient. This Denny's is spacious, with modern decor, comfortable air conditioned, and clean. The price is reasonable with a big selection of breakfast meals. Xavier gave us a 20% discount coupon for our next visit. We definitely will come back soon. Thank you Xavier. read more

Picked my son up at Oakland Airport about 7PM tonight everyone was hungary so we stopped at Denny's in Pleasanton . This was our first time dining in at this particular restaurant and it was well worth the stop the food was great and the service excellent .
