The wait was reasonable, especially for brunch on a Sunday. I reported the condition of the Women's restroom when I used it while we were waiting for our table. Our server was good, personable and got everyone's order correct. She was a little slow, but it was fairly busy, and she apologized for it. The food was what you'd want and expect from Denny's. Nothing to report there. I mentioned the rapidly deteriorating bathroom conditions to the hostess *again* when my kids used the bathroom after we ordered, before our food came. She said, "They're really busy in the back." I replied, "So, just bc they're busy in the back customers have to be subjected to a dirty bathroom?" She came back with, "Well, I'm not cleaning any damn bathroom." I just shook my head and walked away. When we used the restroom one last time before we left, it was even worse, and no one had even attempted to tidy it up at any time, even though there were 3 Hostesses and 2 Cashiers standing right there, as well as two servers I saw in there using the bathroom during two of our trips to the bathroom. read more

We left. No food. We left. 10:30 on a Friday night. Took 10 minutes to get seated. Sat there 10 more minutes and no signs of life in our whole section of the restaurant. There were 3 waiters and only about 5 tables with guests. How darned hard is it to wait on a table??? My friend had to use the restroom so she walked in asking if she can use the restroom where the manager Ben told her she has to be a customer to use the restroom. Understandably, she offers to purchase something and Ben says "No, you can leave". Both my friend and I were shocked to this horrible customer service. Never coming back. read more

I always order for pickup, I was craving a hamburger and fries so I ordered double cheeseburger with no cheese and fries and also some chicken tenders. Mind you the hamburger looked so good but tasted and smelled like shit once I opened the box up. Me and my husband always share food so I cut in half for him. First in foremost that female waitress that works over night with the orange wana be blonde hair is horrible she stands there flirting with guys instead of serving a table that had clearly asked her to bring them drinks and she always has a damn attitude. Another thing there was only 4 tables to serve and they still took about 2 hours to serve our drinks and food the server we had was a tall Mexican guy that was very impatient made me feel uncomfortable the way he tapped his pen aggressively on his note pad to take our order the place is unorganized they gave a table behind us a discount for waiting but didn't give us a discount and we waited longer!! How is that fair? All I asked for was onion rings and they had the damn nerve to serve me 5 onion rings on a plate. Had an amazing experience today despite how popular it was here. Was quoted for a 35 min wait and was sat in half the time. Staff was very friendly when they had the time to talk. Food was delivered very promptly and tasted amazing. Management was hands on all around the restaurant she didn't stop moving you could tell she cared. On top of it all our server was so lovely. So I came here for breakfast and my goodness the service was beyond bad. I tried to be cool about it because she was a tad older but she seriously needed a coffee or monster something. She took forever bringing our drinks, then handed us the wrong ones, brought our food a long while later and my food was ice cold, and again passed our plates out to the wrong ones, she literally even told us she works 2 Dennys and was tired, um ok so if you're too tired to work then call in cause you weren't doing any of the customers any favors. Wow this Denny's needs a pest control company we went here for dinner and was seated at a booth my husband seen a bug on the table and said that looks like a cockroach and we call over the server and she got the lady in charge well she just said to us oh sorry we just sprayed oh thanks for letting us know there more where they came from I don't think spray will help this place they need more then that wow and walked away like nothing I will never eat at this Denny's again REPORT this place to corporate office sad to think people don't know this!! Let me start by saying I work in this industry and never have I been approached in such a disgusting manner. We walk in with family member who is disabled and they still seem to busy to accommodate to a guest with special needs. At this time there are 2 servers on the floor and only 4 tables , so I don't see what the problem is. We get sat in the far back and our injured family member has to struggle getting back there.. The rude manager drops the menu and yells "alright guys I'm out, good luck"and proceeds to leave the building . No one wants to take the table of 5 so neither one of the servers can make eye contact with us so they keep just walking around not running food or helping other tables. After a good 13minutes of being sat and not greeted, we see the servers pointing and arguing about who's going to take the table. They begin to sit other tables and still don't come to greet us. It gets better , Jaime the server comes to our table and doesn't care about proper table etiquette. Opening speech "y'all know what you wanna order" Then begins to take our order with an attitude and walks off. BTW the area around the airport not nice...I would get out of the town a little bit.This Denny's is connected to a truck stop so that should of threw up another red flag but the fact that one stomach wall just ate the other we were desperate. I ordered off of their fresh and fit menu which sounded ok, but the fact that it was drowned in butter was like an oxi moron! Ok a mile down the road made a big difference. Denny's at Flying J's failed miserably. This location the waiter had us seated in 30 seconds and drink order shortly there after. I don't expect much when I go to a Denny's, but I have had some amazing servers at other locations in the past. That was not the case for n my trip to this location. The restaurant is located in with the Home Depot on the SE corner of McDowell and 75th Ave, just North of I-10. The restaurant was clean and nice. The hostess/cashier could have been friendlier, she seemed to have no enthusiasm for her job. Our waitress however, more than made up for her. Our waitress was friendly, bubbly, and smiled a lot. She took really good care of us. She even stopped to give quick attention to a baby sitting at the next table. The food was what you'd expect from a Denny's chain. It was good. The entire staff came out to sing happy birthday to two different tables and that made the kids smile and squeal with joy. I was happy to see the staff with that energy. I had ordered the cinnamon roll pancake breakfast and had asked for my eggs to be over hard. When i was given the breakfast the eggs were still runny. I dont think the cooks are capable producing anything except over easy eggs. 4 hours after eating my breakfast, i would get food poisoning, most likely from the undercooked eggs. Our food is always great and comes out fairly quickly. It's a hit or miss with servers. The only thing that is annoying is the fact that the servers can't seem to stop gossiping extremely loud in the vestibule, especially if you're sitting around that area.
