Dennys is my place to go late night but i had the best service and greeting here at this Denny's my server was Alyssa and the manager was Edith which offered a very cheerful and smiling welcome. This place was pretty busy but they kept their attention on the customers they made sure our food was made right and in a quick time to the tables. Our drinks were never empty. We will definetly visit this Denny's more often for the superb service read more

Okay, there is a 5-10 minute wait for two, but what a good breakfast that Denny's provides! Our lady server was so very pleasant and kind that made our meals complete! I come to this Denny's because it's the closest to me. Everytime I come my experience is pretty okay, food is alright, it's Denny's, not much to expect and I don't expect amazing food. But every damn time I come, it's like no one is working??? No one is there to check up on you. I literally waited 15 minutes for the cheque because no one came by. Finally someone came by because they were seating a family but we had to call them down to our table. I've seen people dine and dash this place many times because literally no one is around. And Everytime I have to use the restrooms here there's literally always something gross in the stalls or something is broken...or it's just straight out dirty and outright stinkier than it should be for a restroom. I understand the nasty stalls are from people being gross but it's like no one goes in there to check there restrooms to see if it's clean and if they do they just leave it there. They really need someone to come down to this location and check this place out or they need some new management. 4/5 because good customer service, affordable meals, and good food! I don't usually go to Denny's often, but I had very good customer service with my experiences by far. I came in around 11 AM, so it was starting to get busy. The server greeted us and we got seated right away. A new server came to get our order right after and was so friendly and outgoing! You could tell she loves her job and she also kept the atmosphere very lively. The only thing I would say is that it takes too long for the food to be made. We probably got our food at least 20-30 minutes after we ordered. We ordered typical brunch food: pancakes, eggs, harsh browns, sausage, and bacon. Shouldn't take that long right? However, very affordable prices and big portions compared to the monthly brunch places I normally go to. It was about $8-$10 for a combo, which is considered very cheap to me! So much food. We also got their smoothie and it was not expensive. It was a little on the sweeter side, but it was only $3. I don't know why Denny's has such low reviews on yelp, but I like it! Mostly inconsiderate and under Trained... The Manager has no Business being in Charge of this Restaurant as they don't even have a Basic understanding of Food Service Safety and Training! This Denny's is dirty to the point it's sticky even after they make a minor attempt at Cleaning. Too Often are drinks brought out with a little extra in them and the food will have a little extra every single time. You can see an Assistant Mgr most of the time so it's obviously a lack of understanding not just lack of Training. If they don't shut this Location down soon to do a Restart likely you will see a large amount of Food Poisoning in the near Future! read more

This is an extremely busy location. The wait is cruel when you are really hungry. Lol I would of gave them 2 stars but let's keep it real, I are there. It was edible. Our waiter Carlos was awesome! He gets 5 stars. He actually looked genuinely happy. That is hard to see theses days. He works hard. Loved him! Ask for him. The manager does not look happy, (maybe he doesn't like his job? We usually go to IHOP. Our Denny experiences in the past were not great for many reasons. However due to ratings, being burned out on IHOP, and a location we had not tried. My husband, and I decided to give this Norwalk location a chance. We it here ! It seemed renovated, very clean, and most importantly the food was on point! We informed the manager about the food on our way out, and he informed us that the cook was new. We told him, he should definitely keep her ! Our waitress CECY was amazing !!!!! She was busy, but super attentive, gave advice on items we asked about. She brought our food immediately, and it was so hot/fresh. My husband said, the coffee even taste better than IHOP. Cecy even put in a to go order on time. So it would be right out the oven when we were ready to go. Please keep the specials !!! We were able to get what we wanted , under $20 for BOTH of us. This place is such a one trick pony show. You can almost predict what's going to happen when you walk in. You wait two minutes to be noticed and got seated in a tight @ss confinement of these booth seats. They give you the menu and nonchalantly took your order. Your drinks will follow shortly. The waiter/waitress disappeared and will not reappear until they bring out the food. Right before you even half way finished your meal, the check comes and disappearing act goes again. That would be that ...as you paid up front in the cash register. The service is almost non-existent. You can't find them for refills for your drinks and they even would routinely forget to bring out the utensils and condiments. It's a bad joke and I wouldn't laugh it. Here's the useful tip about this place. If you are dining with a large group... make sure that either none of you ordered the Country Fried Steak or T-Bone Steak ... or EVERYBODY order that. There is a reason behind this. I noticed that after coming here over three dozen times, the waiter/waitress always disappear back and never really check up on you for any refills. They would almost always bring ALL of the dishes at the same time. The country fried steak or T-Bone Steak on the menu took the longest to cook. If you happened to be sappy unlucky soul that ordered the grand slam or one of their omelet, I will promised you that your item will be cold by the time they bring out the food. It seemed like they just let the food sit on the counter while continuing to cook those longer to cook items. By the time the steak is finished, the fries or the hash browns are stone cold. Without a pause, we always knew our bacon or egg will get cold too. It's really deplorable at times. I usually ordered a club sandwich and put in a side of fruit or salad if I noticed anyone in our table ordered one of the steak items. For $2, you only get one or two glass of sodas or iced tea is really funny. Just the fact that even a ketchup would have to be requested as a bizarre request was funny to them every single time. Now I can see why this turnover of the staff happens more often than the change of the menu. If they change the behavior soon, I might as well force myself to watch My Little Pony on Channel 13. At least I know that pony does more trick than this place. read more

Negative: Took almost 40 min. to get seated & get service for only 2 of us. - My plate looked a little bland. I know I ordered a small plate but maybe they could've put a piece of parsley to make it look nicer. This was the worst experience out of any restaurant. I asked for my hashbrowns, well done, and they got back to me only after all, my family had already eaten their food. When I got them, they were not well done. They were extra salty and the eggs look like they had been on someone else's plate because they had ketchup on the bottom of them . my hotcakes never got to me. We never saw the waitress again for a coffee or for her to ask if you needed anything.. I don't blame her because the place was super crowded with a lot of people graduating. However, the restaurant should have anticipated this rush and have had adequate staff.. this was my first visit, and it was also my last. We are a family of six, and what a waste of money.
