Buy one get one for only $1 MAYBE!

I gave this location one star because I couldn't give zero! I went to this location on a warm Saturday around noon and the first thing I noticed was the parking lot was unusually empty. I went inside with one of my bike friends and we decided on the buy one get one for $1 slam. We asked our waitress if we could substitute the pork products for turkey products (as we usually do at other locations). She replied that she needed to check with her manager, who said that is wasn't possible due to a "turkey bacon shortage." We then asked shouldn't we at least be given the option of an up charge? To which she replied "you can just order a create your own slam, I mean you're getting this for $1" I then told her I didn't make the price or the special, Denny's did, I thanked her for her service and left. I must say that I have frequented other Dennys restaurants and never had a similar experience.

We stopped off the interstate for some food. And seems with all the traveling we do . Dennys always has decent food, great service and nice staff. I had a sizzling skillet which was Spivey but very good. Just the way I like it. Wife had a grilled chicken skillet as well and hers was enjoyable to. Our server was great and prices are decent . Give them a try in your travels .

This guy has been waiting for someone for over five minutes! Imagine if you are sitting.

Traveling to help our friends move. We came in @ 5:43 and it's now 6:22 and no food. I just ordered a cheese omelette. Waitress is no where to be found! My GF drank the tiny cup of coffee and it sits there empty. Staff members are salty. Could've been from a long night but whatever. Ambience is to be expected. Typical ummm AM restaurant but this one is BAD with service!!!! OUT WAITRESS LEFT. LEFT A TIP THOUGH. A TIP TO be attentive to customers. Over medium eggs were runny! And the bathroom's were filthy and unkept!

I loved the very helpful, attentive and cheerful server we had- her name is Rose. Enjoyed the music playing on a Sunday morning. Food came fast and exactly as ordered. The serving was a lot for one person. I wish there was a down sized version I hate waste. I had the omelette with sausage and bacon and a large helping of hash brown so I skipped the toast. My hubby got the Fit Slam with gluten free English muffin and white egg scramble with spinach and tomatoes. He said it was delicious and light. Coffee was hot and just right not too weak and not too strong. Something about the ambiance held me from giving it 5 stars - could also be the pesky fly that got in. Oh well can't blame the restaurant for that.

Food was fine but was waiting for food to long. And took over a half hour to get the check, after asking for it multiple times.

I ordered the veggie burger and my partner ordered the Brie and ham sandwich with a side of broccoli cheddar soup. The veggie burger was perfect in terms of mix of veggies, flavor and freshness and both sandwiches came with a small side of tortilla chips and fresh salsa. We also ordered a side of French fries which were also fresh. Our least favorite thing was the broccoli cheddar soup, which was a little more watery than we would have liked. Others in our party ordered a cheeseburger and an "ah love" chicken sandwich and they liked their food. I ordered a fresh lemonade and it was homemade and tasted great. The food here is very fresh and reasonably priced and very enjoyable overall. We would definitely come back the next time we are here! Warning the parking lot is on the smaller side and there are only about 4-5 tables inside and 2-3 tables on the small outdoor patio.

My soups were good but I definitely need to return to try some of their vegan sandwiches!

You cannot order a fresh carafe or pitcher of sangria with the fruit in it here, which is what I was expecting from a place headlining sangria. So your experience of the Sangria Cafe for sangria will come down to whether you like yours fortified. I like my sangria freshly made to order with just the wine and chopped fruit, but you may have a better experience at Sangria Cafe if you prefer fortified sangria. So the Manager, Elios, was superb. He told me he would let me taste the red, white and lychee versions to see which one I preferred. Given they are all fortified to an extent, I chose to order margaritas. I prefer mezcal margaritas, but they did not have mezcal at the time. So I went with the tequila classic. It was good and I had it to go for my evening at a cigar lounge. I also ordered food to go: the French cut pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus and the braised beef short rib with small potatoes and broccoli. Here's a twist: the food was better than the adult beverage at a place emphasizing the latter. At all times, my server, Hector, was superb in his own right. Service is probably the strong suit at Sangria Cafe, followed by the food. The French cut pork chops taste like they have been marinated or at least brined. You will eat these down to the bone and you will pick up those bones to clean them. The garlic mashed potatoes were great too, but the asparagus was a bit overcooked. On balance, this $30 dish was satisfying and would have been better had they included a little gravy on the side for the mashed potatoes. The beef short rib at $38 was even tastier. I appreciate the chef took the time to get a good cut of short rib and trimmed the excess fat down to a leaner cut. The meat is inherently marbled with fat, so the flavor is already going to be as present as the savory tenderness. If you dine at a restaurant where there is excess fat on the beef short rib, know the chef there is not putting in the work to trim all that fat. Coudos to the chefs in the Sangria Cafe kitchen for their trimming work. This is even better than the pork chops and you'll savor every bite. The broccoli was overcooked here, so the chefs could restrain themselves on the cooking time for the veggies. The small potatoes were perfect and what is not to like about marbled beef and potatoes. Here they have a little gravy with cooked onions to add to the savory pleasure. The Sangria Cafe is a great place to come with friends. This place will see lots of action as the weather warms. The atmosphere is upbeat and the music is in full swing. This is a Latino and Afro Latino crowd. The kitchen and service are very good here. Perhaps I'm in the minority preferring nonfortified sangria, but I wish that were an option with the chopped fruit in it. Perhaps the majority prefers the fortified hit, but it would be nice to have it more relaxed with just the wine as summer approaches or at any time of the year. Please keep the mezcal in stock as SOP for the mezcal margs. Thanks to Elios, Hector and the chefs in the kitchen. 3.5 stars.
