Dennys delivered another great breakfast hot and fresh tasting. The sourdough toast was lacking in flavor and was more like white toast. The omelette was made perfectly and just the way I like it. Amanda our waitress was excellent bringing our food to us promptly and kept the coffee flowing without having to ask for refills. There was lots of seating and our area was clean which is always nice. They have counter seating which gives it the olde diner feeling. We'll definitely be back and hopefully Amanda will be there to take care of us. read more

Well, this is a Denny's. On the insiders bigger than I thought it was. It seems like a popular place for people to go on a Sunday. Of course it's by the truckstop so a lot of truckers and people traveling in this area. Wait, about 10 minutes and then we were able to sit. Seemed like they might have been a little understaffed for the day. The food was really good and I would go back for the food but I would not recommend the new iced coffee that they have. It was terrible. The place seemed relatively clean and the servers were helpful with the menu. They weren't very attentive, but I had everything I needed. read more

Disappointing experience to say the least. When our food was ready at the window server got into an argument with cook about bringing the food out before it got cold. So a different server came off of break to bring our food over food was wrong but she walked off before we could say anything as she was getting called over by another table. ordered pancakes was waiting to be checked on by server to get syrup sat for 30 mins with not even a peep from our actual server finally gets over I just ask for boxes and syrup because food is cold and i havent even started eating yet. she brings back boxes and check, 10 mins later still no syrup. went up to pay and ask for syrup again and i ask for alot of it because i have two stacks of pancakes and sau and eggs. she came back with two containers of syrup and asked if that was enough or if we needed more and i clearly say more if u don't mind and she looks at me and then just starts helping the people behind us while we're still standing there. So i ended up having to put the food in the fridge and go to the store for syrup in the morning to even be able to enjoy it and had to toss out the eggs they made bc they started turning brown after one night in the fridge. The food was abysmal, eggs were brown on the bottom, hash browns were crispy on the bottom and completely raw on the top, they can completely tasteless and my pancake was overcooked. The food was brought to our table piecemeal I had to ask twice for the biscuits and gravy that I ordered I finally received it 10 minutes later by that time the rest of the meal was ice cold. My son's days were like rubber and again bacon tasteless. My daughter also had issues with her eggs being over medium and they were gummy. I explained all this to the waitress and she just kept apologizing and then some other person who was not in a Denny's uniform but was I guess a hostess kept making excuses because they're so busy and they're out of so many things but they weren't out of anything that we ordered so it was just an excuse. Our waitress actually went back to help to cook cook cuz he couldn't handle it. It was a miserable experience that cost me $64 we are now in the line at Whataburger so my kids can at least eat something. To say I am ticked off is a great understatement. This Denny's is not worth going to in my opinion we will never ever go back. The packaged everything up and took it home so the dogs had a nice $64 meal of crappy food. read more

Don't take this review the wrong way. The food is actually really good! It's close to I-10 near north Gulfport. Great it next to a gas station and it open 24/7. Next to a gas station. Great place to eat and get fuel in a one stop shop. Definitely recommend take out. The seats are decent, no couch but good tho. Don't recommend sitting there for a long time tho. Recommend the booth over the seats if that's your fancy. My only gripe is, the service seems it could use more help. Our server was nice and helpful. I feel personally it would have been excellent if she had more help. Other customers thought the same thing. They were sitting next to us and said the food is good but service is lacking. Let me know if I'm wrong and just was there on an off day. They could really use a broom or at least sweep the floor. With that being said, the food is wonderful a delicious meal if you are in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. Of course, I got the sweet tea to drink with a cinnamon pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns. We eat here all the time. Breakfast time is always best. Best servers. Best cooks. The food is always perfect. We decided to try it at night a couple of times, and tonight will be the last time! Server was not friendly and a smartass. The cook at night can't cook anything. Especially eggs. We ordered mine "hard, well done." They came with the yellow and whites runny. My mom ordered hers "sunny side up with whites well done." They also came with the whites runny. We told the server and she said "I'll send them back but I can't promise you anything! The cook is not good with eggs!" And I'm thinking to myself "then why is he working as a cook?" She brought the new orders of eggs to the table and they still were horrible. The bacon was also ice cold as well as the toast. We will avoid this place like the plague at nights and on weekends. I suggest you do as well. read more

This is our favorite restaurant on I10 when traveling to New Orleans The food is good old diner fare, 24 hour breakfasts with BIg pancakes. More than the food food is the customer service. The host/hostess are always quick to seat you and ask your preference or accommodate your requests for certain tables. The servers are warm and welcoming, cheerful, and treat you like family. The Service is awesome! Nobody rushes you even when the place is busy (unlike some places). Nice parking area to walk and stretch you legs and walk your dog. The truck stop is handy for gas and snacks for the road.Wish I could give10 stars!!! read more

My husband and I are truck drivers and decided to step in for a bite to eat and the food here was absolutely delicious and cooked properly. Being asked your name to wait on a table can either be a pleasant experience or confrontational depending on how it is asked. When we walked in, the place was packed. The manager looked at us and barked at us asking our name, followed by "Sit here! We'll seat you in a minute," while pointing at a bench. We sat like a couple of scolded school children. Strike one. After 10 minutes of watching customers paying to leave and tables being cleaned, we were seated by a much nicer host. Drinks were taken after about 5 minutes by a waitress who looked extremely worn out. I get it, we came in just after the lunch rush. But we were paying customers too and didn't cause their issues earlier. Moons over my Hammy with a side of pancakes for the wife. I got the Grand Slam Slugger with eggs over light, sausage and hash browns. I don't care for Denny's link sausages, but the bacon was good. We both enjoyed the pancakes which were light and sweet with a real taste of the tartness of the buttermilk. They were good. Both of our hash browns were cooked without any fat (oil) so they were not good and tasted undercooked. It was around $22. Can't beat that just about anywhere. But the food and definitely the service could have been better. Look, I get it, it's Denny's but I'll bet that experience is not what the company intends their customers to have. read more

This location was horribly rude to me and my service dog. The kitchen assistant took our order because the waitress was "terrified of big dogs". Well, my big dog is the gentlest creature you'll ever meet. We also got bare minimum service, no water refill, and they no longer carry any gluten free bread options. We go out of our way for Denny's. We had just the most awesome ever waitress, she was fun to be around!! This is at a truck stop so there's a lot going on. They have a short menu, I'm sure covid 19 is the reason for that. Julie had a chicken fried steak and I had a big omelette. We ate every scrap!! Our waitress had our drinks full all the time!! Terrible experience! My son and I stopped in for a brunchy type meal and we were seated rather quickly. But then we sat for at least 7 minutes before the ONLY server (at 9:30AM) told us she had two tables ahead of us and that we'd be waiting "a few minutes" as she hurried past our table, not even affording us a moment to explain her dilemma. She didn't even stop to ask our drink orders. I get being busy; I get being in the weeds- I don't get a walk by, one rude sentence. So we left and went to Cracker Barrel. This place needs to work on customer service and better training for their staff desperately. As a member of the service industry myself, I was appalled at the NON-SERVICE we had, and the incredibly brief interaction with the server. Shame on this independently owned Denny's. My family and I stopped here on our way home. We were seated very promptly,and then waited ten minutes.A waitress came by and told us she would be right with us. As we were waiting another couple came in wer3 seated and the same waitress approached them and chit chatted and brought them their coffee and took their order. First they young lady waiting on us made us wait for over 30 to get our drinks then she got the order wrong. We then could not get our food done a second time correct. After all this we asked to have the manager come talk to us and instead we got our bill set on the table and as that was not bad enough she did not give me our military discount. We left our number asked to have the manager call us yet this is now Wednesday evening and not one call text our anything even just saying sorry. Love this Denny's! They keep it clean and neat, and the staff is the friendliest! I eat here a few times a month, and I've enjoyed everything I've tried from the menu, breakfast and dinner meals. They are generous with drink refills, and very accommodating to every request. I'm usually here for lunch. Salads are fresh. Pancakes are fluffy! Bacon is crisped just right. If you live near or are traveling through the area, this is an excellent choice for a meal. Located adjacent/connected to a Flying J truck stop - and from living in the area, I will attest that this gas station has really good prices for its interstate location, too. read more

There don't seem to be very many restaurants where you can get breakfast these days, and this Denny's has a great selection of breakfast favorites. For dinner, the Bourbon Chicken is really delicious, and one of our favorites. Today I tried the Chicken Addiction Bowl, and it was very good. Everyone here is very friendly and welcoming. We have eaten at other Denny's restaurants that were not very good, but this one has always provided a great experience for us. I highly recommend it for casual dining anytime. read more
