They have smoking inside. Nasty building. Gross. Slow. Smoky. Inside a truck stop and the wait staff is rude. Table was sticky and the floor had food on it. I'm a huge Denny's fan but this visit wasn't up to the chain's usual best. We ordered the avocado burger and fish and chips. Both were okay though we waited far too long for our order. Our server was nice enough but well off her game forgetting ordered items and accompaniments. There also seemed to be a very public argument behind the counter between two staff members. If you like the crappiest food on earth, this is the place for you. Never in my life have I ever eaten a breakfast so terrible. I think they scraped dust bunnies off the bottoms of their shoes and grilled that along with my food. The coffee taste like someone re brewed it at least 30 times; with a sting of absolute bitterness that would pucker a horse. Come to this place at 2AM and you will be in awe of the food presentation and the cleanliness, I guarantee it. read more

It's about the service. Restaurant is freezing cold. Food has taken 40 minutes so far to prepare and the restaurant is almost empty. Waitress blames the wait on one large table order. Can a short order cook do more than one thing at a time. Unreal!!! Don't waste your time and stop here. Too cold and too Damn slow. This is at the Flying J truck stop along I10. Service was good, and food was typical Denny's (OK, not outstanding). Good value and good quantity for the price. Been a long time since the last time I have eaten at Denny's, had the country fried steak breakfast, was not that good, I remember when they had a decent breakfast. Eggs were a little undercooked, country fried steak was salty and tasted like cardboard, coffee was not drinkable and the water had a smell to it. On a good note, waitress was pleasant and friendly. Won't be eating at Denny's again anytime soon. read more

I give it a 2 star, because the food was good... costumer on the other hand wasn't good at all, all the servers were standing around chitchatting to them selfs and not paying attention to the tables. They joke around and a little too loud as well. All in all very unprofessional... hope they would get their act together and do a better job next time... smiles read more

If we could give this restaurant zero stars we would. Hmm, let's see where to start. Wiping down the bench seats with a wet rag, waiting for nearly 10 minutes for even a nod from the wait staff and air conditioning blowing right over the booth ( it was freezing). Hostess was nowhere to be found. My husband ordered a breakfast. Ham was like shoe leather, the bacon & sausage were both burned, actually the sausage was burned and still raw. My boyfriend and I actually had a great time at this Denny's resturant. Be warned that it does have the smell of smoke. However, the servers, the managers,and staff worked together in unison to make the dining experience professional and pleasant. I was just impressed that people were working together ,which is something that I rarely see in my area unfortunately. I had the cheese hash browns and zucchini ( I'm not a heavy breakfast eater) and my boyfriend had a skillet breakfast which he and I both enjoyed. So, let me explain what Dennys is. You at least have heard of WAFFLE HOUSE, right? Well, Dennys is the WH for the West Coast. There is one on every freeway exit out there. This is a very little Dennys. Matter o fact, the smallest one I've ever seen (that's what she said...had to do it). The service was kinda lame...as a waitress you probably shouldn't say "just flag me down when you are ready" if you don't plan on keeping an eye out for the flagging you asked for. The fella behind the counter had some sort of new age flock of seagulls haircut deal going on, it was hard not to stare/laugh/pee yourself while looking at. Also, this joint was dirty, to include the restrooms, where there must be a sign that says PLEASE WHIZ ON THA FLOORS! Dennys does have some damn great hashbrowns though, and the skillets are decent too...but this aint fine dining, so don't expect that. read more

Finally found a Denny's!! The food was great. I had the steak skillet and it was all I'd hoped it would be. My girlfriend had some double meat breakfast that was supposed to be served with bacon and sausage, came out with only bacon... But the bacon was great so she didn't mind. It's attached to a gas station which was kinda strange, probably the smallest Denny's I've ever been to and certainly the cleanest!!! The waitress wAsnt great, and they were out of Coke, but they have a smoking section so everything evens itself out in my book! Will be back on my next Mississippi trip for sure! read more

The only Positive thing about my visit was the waitress was nice. We were there for an hour before we walked out without ever getting our food. We watched the cooks grabbing whatever ticket was easiest for them to prepare. Will not be back.. I don't recommend anyone else go either read more

This place gets worse and worse with every visit. I love Denny's and I'm a huge fan of the fit and fare veggie skillet, the few times we went it was different every time, clearly they would run out of half the stuff for it and I would end up getting a super tiny portion of food hoping I wouldn't notice. The service is hit or miss we've had really nice servers and ones you have to track down and come to find out were out on their smoke break...gross. We definitely won't be going back. read more

I went for breakfast on my birthday. I was seated by an older female server who was about 5 foot tall. She was very friendly. After waiting for a while she came by again to see if anyone had taken my drink order, they had not. She took my drink order and then my order when she returned. After this a server came by to take my order. Another server later brought my order out. I ordered a Grand Slam with eggs over medium. The eggs had runny whites and of course runny yolks. Not what I am used to for over medium. I let that slide and just moved on with my meal. The pancakes were rubbery but I was hungry, so I ate them. As I was eating the pancakes I noticed that they tasted like onions. Evidently someone doesn't clean or section their grill. Not a good experience. read more

If I could give no starts, I would. We spent two hours waiting for our food that didn't even come out warm. People that came in after us got their food an hour before we did. We ordered things and they didn't tell us they were out and replaced it with whatever they felt like. After all of that, they tried to charge us extra for the things they didn't even have. They were all yelling at each other in the back and keeping servers past their hours. Not a good way to spend Christmas. read more

Had a new waitress that was really trying hard but between the manager standing at the bar eating her own steaming hot food and staff arguing over their own inadequacies, our food ended up cold after 30 mins of waiting for eggs and pancakes. Manager gave us a small discount for the inconvienence but was generally disinterested in our poor service and did not offer any apology or other gracious sentiment. When we walked in we weren't greeted at all. We came here for lunch right after church. When we were seated we didn't have placemats that r usually on the table which r great for our children and no silverware or napkins. Waited 5 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. The menu clearly states a milk shake has extra in a tin. So that's suppose to b $4 for a milkshake plus extra in the tin. Did not happen at all. Then it took another 15 minutes just for someone to come take our order for food. It took about 25 minutes for our food to get to us. N then when we got our food the items were not together as far as the children's foods were concerned. One child one item that belonged to another child and vice versus. Which is okay cuz we just scrapped it off onto another plate. But still they should have been placed together like we ordered. Then one of the other meals didn't not have the bread that it was suppose to have came with. N then to top it all off when we get ready to leave the cops showed up. All because of how I was disciplining my 2 year old son. He was throwing himself on the floor and throwing his soy cup and silver ware and food. I popped him and apparently one of the customers and employees called them and said I was abusing my child. U don't have to worry about me bringing my family back here. Apparently they want a messy restaurant from kids and loud noise and everything. Always have had problems from rude waitresses and my up to par! read more
