When they are busy, it takes quite a while to get your food. I recommend calling your order ahead. The inside is too small. Theres nowhere to wait without someone thinking you're in line unless you sit down-if you're lucky to find a seat. Be sure to squeeze your body in when trying to get around the tables. Fallon's Gourmet is such a hidden gem in Gulfport! I ordered the smoked chicken tender salad, and it was absolutely delicious. ( I especially enjoyed the honey vinaigrette.) The menu is all à la carte and super affordable, which I love--it gives you the freedom to build your perfect meal without overpaying. The service was amazing. I didn't catch the cashier's name, but she was so warm and welcoming, which really made the experience even better. The vibe is cozy and small-town friendly, and you can tell they have a loyal base of regulars. It's the kind of place that feels like home from the moment you walk in. This place is a real gem. All items are ordered ala carte so you get exactly what you want. Prices are extremely reasonable, quality of food is top notch, and taste is just like mama made. Service was fast and extremely kind and welcoming. I had the meatloaf which was extremely tasty and thick cut. Y friend had the smoked Chicken which was out of this world, and my other friend ordered a hamburger steak which she enjoyed very much. We all had different sides and all 6 of them were yummy. I 100% recommend this restaurant!!! It is close to my office, so it is easy to pick up lunch. They have daily specials and it is all ala carte. Staying in town and came here for a quick lunch. Everything I had was delicious and fresh. It's a walk-up counter establishment with a handful of entree items and sides. Everything I ate, especially the strawberry cobbler, was fantastic and tasted very fresh. I really enjoyed every bite and I can say it far exceeded a similar dish I've had elsewhere. Not knowing where to go for lunch in a town I've never been in, turned to Yelp and found success - side salad, chicken etouffee and iced tea. WOW! The etouffee was 5 star New Orleans restaurant quality, and this cost $7! And Joy, the cashier, was terrific - went so far as to get multiple samples for us to try before we ordered. Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday based on a locals recommendation. When we got there, there was quite a line, so I knew it would be good! Fallon's is a small place, not too many tables. A lot of people were calling in orders and picking them up, but we decided to eat there. We did come by a little later during lunch time, so they were out of quite a few things, but I was able to try the meatloaf poboy that I had my eye on! The sand which was delicious and the meal came with a side, drink and brownie for $12 (after tax and tip)! They also have a whole fridge/freezer area with pre made meals that you can pick up and take home to make, which I'm sure are just as good! read more

This place is perfect!! We ordered lunch and picked up a frozen casserole for family dinner. This place is such a breath of fresh air - so nice to be able to get real, tasty food for a change that's not fast food or our usual takeout. The wild rice chicken casserole is wonderful, and the hamburger steak is so well-seasoned. The banana pudding was so great too. We tried Fallon's today for the first time, and it was amazing! We were greeted by the owner Fallon, and her staff who were very friendly. After we explained that we have never been there before,They took the time to run through their menu dish by dish about midway we were salivating, you could tell just by their enthusiasm that these were people that take pride in what they do and really love food. We confidently ordered our meals (which were very reasonably priced).The food arrived shortly after eventhough they were very busy. I ordered the chicken parmesan with mac n cheese and broccoli and cheese rice, and the strawberry cobbler. My wife ordered the chicken Monica with the side salad and mashed potatoes. We were both very pleased with our meals this place went above and beyond our expectations we will definitely be returning here regularly. I was traveling through Gulfport with my friend in our RVs and lucked upon this place. Not just good food, sumptuous delicious food! This little spot that looks like a coffee shop wedged up against an auto repair place is the brilliant concept of its namesake, Fallon, an amazing chef you would mistake for an attractive soccer mom. Her grandmother was a caterer and it's obvious that good southern food is imbedded in her genes. I asked a lot of questions and was treated with such grace and kindness, by both Fallon herself and the sweetheart working behind the counter. My questions about the different dishes were answered by tastes, so I could answer them myself! They serve several freshly made full meal Specials each day so you can dine in at one of the 5 or 6 tables, or they sell entrees and sides by the pound (prepared and frozen) so you can take a homemade meal home. I had crawfish pie, potatoes and brown gravy, green beans, cornbread, sweet tea, and a brownie. $10!!!! My, oh, my... Park on a side street or in the alley alongside. Bring your appetite. I eat here with my Dad when I visit Gulfport. Tough place to fine and parking is limited but well worth it! I had smoked stuffed pork chops last time there. Lunch comes with 2 sides, bread, drink and dessert choice - always banana pudding for us - all for around $10. This is Southern cooking at it's best. Catering and take out is a large part of their business - but they do have 4 or 5 tables for dine in.
