I had a good meal here. That's for damn sure! Thank yo, Sully, or however you are. It's in a strange building that seems to be part old, part new. It's a cool setup with some dining in the main room, some other dining on the other side with a nice covered patio. My lunch companions explained that they do bare knuckle boxing upstairs with a ring and all. That sounds interesting for sure. Apparently, this place is name after a legendary bare knuckle fighter of some kind. I would bet a dollar that his name was "Sully". When you walk in and approach the host, there is an outside rain down spout that runs inside from the roof directly behind the host stand to some French drains in the floor. It looks odd, out of place, and intentional enough looking to be a part of someone's clever idea of interior design. I asked the hostess if rain actually came down it when it rained. She said "yes, it does, and boy is it fun". I picked up on her sarcasm but did not inquire about her disdain, as she just snatched the menus and led us to our table. She needs a hug I think. My guests all suggested the burgers. Strongly, multiple times. They also said the steaks were good which is HIGHLY subjective. I generally don't eat steaks at places with metal chairs. I just wasn't in the mood for a burger, so I went for the Fried Pork Chop plate lunch. It was described as pounded with a mallet and flattened, then fried. I guess they were, I was thinking they would be thinner. I had onion rings from the freezer section of your local Sysco and mashed potatoes that were fair. Pork Chops were really tasty but the breading sloughed off very easily. They served the meal with Honey Gold sauce. Totally fucking strange. The little cornbread was very tasty. A couple of them did get burgers and they looked good enough to eat. I didn't get pics, I don't know them that well yet. Mikey got the grilled pork chop lunch. WTF, again Mikey?!?!? His hushpuppy strings looked interesting. He didn't give me any. Asshat. I will give this place another visit if I ever find it again. It gets difficult managing the different timelines and layers sometimes. You never know where you will show up. 3I/ATLAS will probably knock Mars into us anyway soon. Eat up! Be merry! Don't look up!! '25 - 65/111

Spicy Chicken and Spicy Chicken & Andouille Pasta with a side of Squash and Onions

I visited Sully's for the 2nd time a few weeks ago, with my girlfriend and her family. I got the same dish I got the first time I visited Sully's and that was the Spicy Chicken and Andouille Pasta. That cream sauce makes this pasta dish so delicious, I had to bring half of it home it was so filling. The service was great just like the first time I visited, and the ambiance is very comforting I can't wait to go back to Sully's again in the near future!!

For a short visit to Gulfport Mississippi, this is probably our most visited spot! A few reasons behind that, great food! Great happy hour! Great people! How many places can you go with a two for one happy hour that you can even take home with you? Our shrimp and grits was absolutely to die for! My wife enjoyed every dish she had as well! We know where we'll be going when we visit Gulfport again!

2for 1 - Happy Hour

The waitress was so sweet and kind. I asked for recommendations on drinks and asked her pick and she gave me 2 delicious drinks options. The crab cakes were so delicious and I don't eat seafood! The steaks were perfect and we definitely enjoyed ourselves here! Get here early because they do get busy and it was crazy how crowded they get, but so definitely worth it!!!

The 2 for 1 happy hour caught my attention and it was all good after that - wait staff excellent, food off the charts, atmosphere welcoming and laid back. Definitely a treat after a good day at the casino. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great time out with friends

Sully's always has the best customer service from all their employees! The food is always on point and so delicious! We had a party of 18 last minute and they accommodated us so well at lunchtime on Monday. Our server was Riley C. and she was outstanding. My husband had a fried shrimp poboy and very delicious fries. I had the lunch menu of grilled pork chops, squash, and sweet potato. It was so good! We definitely will return.

Great atmosphere and customer service! Have the ribeye and crab claws with a Mai Thai drink which was delicious and refreshing! Will be back again! Oh, definitely try the cheesecake!

We visited for the first time this past Sunday and were beyond impressed! We both ordered the ribeye steak, and it was absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and incredibly tender. The atmosphere was great. We can't wait to come back!

I ordered the sautéed jumbo shrimp, it was a little too spicy for me , my husband got the same thing and enjoyed his. M

The steaks are the most tenderest, juiciest, most flavorous steaks I have ever had. The service was good as well as the cocktails.

Parking is a bit sparse here, and you used to be able to park under the bridge but that was blocked off last time I went. You may have to park in the overflow gravel lot just west of the building, which also serves as parking for the excellent Blue Dog Bistro next door. We started with the Tres Amigos appetizer, which included a pile of fresh chips combined with salsa, cheese sauce, and black bean sauce. It was great and really meant for more than two people. They don't skimp on this one. I've been here several times and always get the Shrimp A Go Go poboy, which is pictured here. Although I feel like it could have used a few more shrimp for the price point, it was really good and comes with this creamy sort of salsa that pairs well with the fried shrimp. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich, and honestly it was bigger and looked better than my poboy. I am definitely trying that next time. I hope this place is doing well because it never seems very busy when we go. It's like something is missing on the inside to liven it up. Our tables were covered in epoxy that was cracked and we saw buckling on the wood floors, most likely from humidity. Service has always been pretty quick and I have never had any complaints. I know the City caused a lot of drama for the previous owners, which is unfortunate. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a few drinks and great food.

Nothing really 'epic' about them but good. Finally we had some Flamingo chicken bombs. Deep fried tenders and jalapeños. Pretty tasty and hot! Bailey our server was awesome and offered great suggestions. I bet this place is rocking during the summer with boats coming in and live music outside. Would love to come back for that.

It was very good, but not sure what that thin sauce on it was, plus a few crumbled pieces of blue cheese. Kind of hard to hold and eat unless you smash it down. Craving satisfied.

While in town for our yearly vacation, we decided on Woody's Roadside for a quick and easy dinner…read morebased on the reviews and pictures, as well as recommendations from a few locals. Unfortunately we were left pretty underwhelmed with the experience. It's not that Woody's is bad, per se, it just isn't...good. The service was great. Our server, Jaclyn, was very attentive and helpful. She didn't hover but she made sure we had what we needed and was nearby if we had questions or requests. Jaclyn recommended the margarita, which is where things started going downhill. My dad ordered a classic lime margarita and didn't take more than a couple drinks of it. We all tried it and agreed it just had a nasty flavor. Sort of like bad white grape juice? It was weird, and of course there's a little asterisk on the menu that notes all alcohol sales as final. We were unimpressed with that but didn't even try to argue the point. Our food came next. It was actually incredibly fast service, especially considering the 30-top that was seated when we arrived, with their orders given to the kitchen right before ours. Everything was hot and fresh, though not all delicious. Here's a run down of my family's reviews of their food: Build-A-Burger w/ Amer. cheese - A bit too thick and tough like the meat had been slightly overworked, but it had a great flavor and was seasoned well. The edges were burnt and it was well done, not medium well. Good beer-battered fries. Spicy Hawaiian chicken sandwich - Very flavorful and tropical but the toppings made the bun soggy and the ratio of filling to bun was way off, even with ham and lettuce removed. Crab cake tower - The fried green tomatoes and sauce were great, as was the corn bean salsa that came with it. The crab cakes were good too, though nothing special. The shrimp on top were juicy and well-seasoned. Wouldn't go back for it though. Korean pork tacos w/ mac & cheese - They were okay. The slaw included was a bit too sour but the pork was juicy and flavorful. The mac & cheese was too bland. Chicken strips & fries - The chicken tenders were cut wrong so they were hard to eat. I had to cut them up with a fork and knife to get bite-sized pieces that I could chew. They had a good flavor but the technique needs some work. The beer-battered fries have a strange seasoning on them that got more unpleasant the more I ate, but everyone else liked them, so that's probably just me. This is one of my least favorite restaurants we've been to on the Gulf Coast, which is unfortunate because I honestly thought I was going to like it a lot! For the price, I don't think this is a great place, especially because it's pretty out of the way from the main drag(s).

That was enough for me after several days of swings and misses at several different restaurants. This place is exactly what it claims to be: an old-style drive-in with a walk up counter and a few picnic tables for customers who want to eat there. The service was...serviceable. The woman at the counter wasn't very nice, but she took our orders fine. They didn't put my dad's shake out with his meal so we had to ask for it, which seemed to displease her. The food was good. Nothing special but it filled us up and it wasn't marked up to insane prices like a lot of restaurants in the area. The fries were seasoned and a nice-sized portion. The burgers were alright. Definitely tasty enough that we finished them. The shake was good too! Not too chocolatey and very thick. One of my friends got a pork sandwich and polished it off in a matter of minutes. So, would I recommend Rebel Dip? The answer is...probably? If a better smashburger place opened up, it would be a no based on the food alone, but it's kind of worth it just for the experience.

We were craving small but savory things to eat. This place fit our needs. Especially an excuse to get out of the rain at time we went. We are so glad to try it out. I will be honest, we were a bit overwhelmed by the choices they had available. Bre was taking our order at the time. Asked if we have any questions. We told her it was our first time here. She calmed our fears and kindly walked us through the menu. We did not know what to get. So she made a few suggestions. We started out with the trio combo. That way we could sample a little bit of what we could. One order we did the trio combo (savvy classic, fried chicken, steak house) with fries and sweet tea. Other was also with a trio combo ( steak house, English Cod, fried chicken) onion rings and fresh lemonade. Bre said she loved the steakhouse slider. So we had to try it. The food came out very fast and fresh. We still saw the steam coming out from it. Few other tables said it was a little bit of a wait. But honestly, well worth the wait. You know it has to be freshly made. Ours came quickly, but honestly, it depends if they are busy with other orders. Ours came pretty quickly due it was not as busy at the time. They all made fresh at every order to my knowledge. The seating is limited. Seating is just several tables with hard metal chairs and no padding. However, if you have a large group of people. They have a drive thru and of course, you can get your order to go. I also overheard few people order in advance from the website and call and just come in and pick up their order? One thing that surprised me. One of the owners happened to be in the store and stop by our table. Sean was amazing! He made sure we had a great experience. We mentioned that the onions rings are great but a little overcooked. He made sure to make it right. He originally offered to make a fresh batch of them. We kindly declined. He made a fresh batch of fries for us instead. He did not have to do that. I know that it may sound silly but that makes a good impression on the restaurant and us! We are so thankful! The food was delicious and staff excellent! WiFi available. It maybe out of the area for most. In the north Gulfport area, off highway 49. I definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area and looking for something savory and delicious. I especially love that they have a variety of options other than just sliders. Sliders, chicken tenders, cheese curds, onion rings, custard shakes, and etc. stop by and try it for yourself and see. You will not be disappointed. In my opinion.
